Just wanted to add this also in the comment section: The sound was recorded on the built in mic on the insta360 one r therefore it’s absolutely not the best and not a 100% representative of what the noise lvl is inside the car. If you have any suggestions on a mic setup where i could get more accurate sound from inside the cars let me know! Overall the car is very quiet as the mic did go up to almost the highest sensitivity. In real life I‘d say the xc40/ex40 is a tad bit quieter inside if my memory doesn’t fail me. Also the warning chimes are for the speed limit warning not the DAS. This is video proof that it can work properly.
Yes, the microphone has a very high sensitivity, you can hear the steering wheel sliding in your hand as if a walrus was crawling on the living room floor. Just kidding, but it's true that it's quite high. Even so, the driving seems so pleasant, quite and relaxed... Thank you very much for this unnusual night driving video. Curious.
Well I am looking to improve these videos further with more equipment in the future. With electric cars the interior is so quiet that the auto mic sensitivity goes up to the max. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Yes there is! Its not nearly as bright in real life as the camera exposure is set to auto and it’s very dark otherwise and therefore difficult to expose. Keep in mind also i was driving with the 3d maps on, then there is no night mode for the map portion only in the simplified view. Hope this helps! Also consider subbing there is more content coming i am just unfortunately busy with my actual work.
One cuestión...there is no night mode on screen? You know, with google map dark mode, or something even darker? Maybe is the autoexposure of the camera that shows the screen very...luminous or it seems so
There is a dark mode when you’re in simplified view not in satelite view of the map. The camera exposure is also difficult to manage in an otherwise pitch black car. Never had any issues with the screen being to bright. Stay tuned for my full review that I‘ll drop once I‘m done with my exams!

The console is very bright. Is there a setting to automatically dim it at night?
