  • This 🎥 addresses multiple topics related to mindfulness based practices about understanding my own health journey over the time I lived in US & India; & some general observations/understanding I have gained about how medication/food choices can be impacted by our body's health condition, nutritional issues, or other health/life challenges.
The material presented here is less structured unlike some of my other 🎥s, & some of the topics discussed don't have healthcare norms set up surrounding the topics discussed, as the practices surrounding certain mindfulness based health/preventative care aspects that are intuition & science based, or individual patient specific factors directed, is a less explored path of healthcare.
Some topics related to regulatory, government or legal system changes also need to be explored further.
I will post more structured 🎥s on each of the topics addressed here, as each topic has it's own scope of exploration, & understanding that needs to emerge for balanced health supportive changes for our individual/collective future.
Some topics discussed are my personal journey with eating, use of birth control medication, toxin exposures, etc.
When subconsciously my health/other choices guided me to prevent certain side effects of the medication that was prescribed for hormonally balancing my period flow; I was simultaneously practicing some other preventative care & mindful eating practices to also balance naturally the period related hormonal changes into a more structured monthly flow; hence slowly over time my medication usage need declined while I was in US.
Due to other hormonal or period flow impacting chemical exposure related excess menstruation challenges I had in India, I slowly started shifting to using yoga & other dietary chocies to stem the flow into a balanced cycle.
After my body was at the balanced hormonal level, that's when the additional period flow increasing chemicals in home/local environment- related to Nonoxynol/detergent/cleansing agent chemicals, pesticides, & red food coloring in local foods/water/air, etc. showed up as a health challenge.
When right medication wasn't available (& it's chemical class equivalent medications available in India caused side effects that weren't health supportive for me- like excess weight gain, water retention, reproductive organ pain, etc.); & I didn't want to be in a heavy flow health status (since many of the women in my family in their 40-60 age ranges underwent hysterectomy in the past, due to excess blood flow/duration of flow); for many of the period related issues my interventions included-
    1) reduce/stop pesticide exposures in home environment, food, water, air, clothes, etc.
    2) reduce soy protein intake to occasional consumption,
    3) reduce use of those detergents/soaps/toiletries/scented products/women's period pads/panties/other period materials, etc. that seemed to increase period flow or duration of flow.
    4) also mindfully search & switch to more health aligned, less toxic, more nature based & cleaner sources of homecare cleansing agents, cosmetics/toiletries, feminine hygiene products, & clothing materials with less/no toxic chemicals/dyes too.
To discern what is less health harming & more health supportive, women with periods can use their own body's hormonal disruptions, mood changes or skin/scalp/reproductive problems to understand what's impacting them.
Additionally, mindful observation of the health/ health harm causing factors of any babies, pets, stray animals, plants, etc. - all can provided us with more indication of when some health harming conditions are being supported by our daily lifestyle choices.
Any improvements/changes made in normal lifestyle choices, family & community measures taken to support the health conditions of smaller babies, pets, animals, plants, elderly, sick family, etc. - eventually leads to better health supportiveness for all humans in the family, locality, community in general too.
The factors that can lead to long term health harm/death of babies, plants, pets, etc.- are the same ones that add to many of our complex/long term health challenges in the elderly or an adult who looks fit, but internally may have many undiagnosed health harm- like organ damage, cancer, etc.
Around min 47, when I mentioned the circulatory system, cardiovascular health problems, I also had liver & kidney health challenges too associated with the build up of chemicals used in our daily life, all of which by themselves or in combination can lead to thickening of blood, pooling of blood in lower extremities, or other health symptoms - indicating cardiovascular distress, organ damage, inflammation, etc.; leading to clothing choices change over time.
Such health specific food/clothing odd patterns a baby/pet can also start doing when they have some organ damage developing, but others aren't aware of what is going on with their health.
