Barnacle Bay looks even more like Sunset Valley than Sunset Valley does.

Hidden Springs is definitely a pretty lovely world, but I generally rebuild a lot of it! I also go through and turn the various green forest people into witches or fairies (and give them makeovers). It can be a semi-supernatural world that has a backstory for why people are becoming supernaturals.

Barnacle Bay is "actually the present" in the Timeline, it is set after Pleasantview. But everyone hates it😂

I remember buying this as an impulse buy at the store. I got home and opened the case and it was just a code 😅. Then I downloaded it and was so disappointed. I ended up uninstalling it because townies in other worlds would show up dressed like pirates and it drove me nuts. $20 wasted. Sims 3 is still my favorite.

Barnacle Bay was the second world available on the Sims 3 store. The first was Riverview, though Riverview was free for all those who registered the base game on the Sims 3 website.

Yes Sunset Valley is before Sims 1. Each world in the Sims 3 is set in different years. Like Lunar world is set for into the future I think

3:20 It definitely is just Sunset Valley. All the other worlds in the sims 3 vary in the timeline.

haha... me too I was expecting a more themed world/town with a more pirate feel, but it's indeed kinda VERY disappointing to see it's just a regular-looking town, nothing special, not even the main "attraction"...

I think the sorre worlds dont follow the same timeline but the expansion pack worlds do.
