After opening to considerable acclaim in the National Theatre's small Dorfman Theatre, The Ocean At The End Of The Lane has arrived at the Noel Coward Theatre in London's West End, and triumphs in the larger space. Neil Gaiman's novel about childhood, memory and storytelling is adapted by Joel Horwood and stars Keir Ogilvy, Millie Hikasa, Finty Williams, Kemi-Bo Jacobs, Charlie Brooks, Trevor Fox and Laurie Ogden. The extraordinary creative team comprise director Katy Rudd, set designer Fly Davis, Puppet designer Samuel Wyer, Lighting designer Paule Constable, and Magic and illusions designer Jamies Harrison.
The Ocean At The End Of The Lane ran at the Noel Coward until 25 November 2023.

Thank you for this review. Neil Gaiman is all about story telling (this work of his is no exception) and it seems like the director managed to land the book on the stage.... Judging by the book it must have been extremely challenging - your narration indicates it was actually successful... Thanks again!
