What you’re saying is so important to me. I’ve been stuck in this loop of buying things to feel joy. The more unhappy I was, the more I bought-until I ended up with giant boxes of unused clothes. It started to frighten me but now I’m beginning to truly understand that things won’t bring me happiness, and people won’t like me more just because my clothes are expensive or fashionable. I just want to thank you for this video. I hope your channel continues to grow ❤ I really can’t resist saying this-can all the viewers take a second to appreciate your amazing eyes? They’re like the night sky 🫠
Thank you beautiful I’m so glad this video helped!! ❤️ I was in exactly the same loop for so many years, I believed if I wore certain clothes etc. my life would somehow improve, people would like me more and so on... People will always love you for your beautiful heart and personality! ☺️ Thank you for your lovely compliment! Sending you so much love ☺️❤️🌌
Awareness is key in resisting the pull of social media-driven consumerism. Self-awareness helps us recognize emotional triggers and align purchases with genuine needs rather than impulsive desires. Social media branding, through tactics like aspirational marketing and FOMO, often programs consumers to chase trends, leading to overconsumption, waste, and environmental harm. This cycle impacts mental health, fosters inequality, and strains resources. To counter this, we need mindful consumption, digital literacy, and advocacy for sustainable practices. By staying grounded in our values and critically evaluating what we consume, we can break free from this loop and make choices that benefit both ourselves and the planet.
Omg yes. I gained so much weight in the last two years (and lost some as well again) and I needed new clothes, I really did, because nothing fit me anymore. But after losing some weight and seeing, how much consumption I did in these two years, I made it a goal for 2025 to be a low buy year - especially for clothes. :)

The media/RUclips makes me feel like, if I speak in British or European English, I will be classier. It makes me want to buy an accent!
All accents are beautiful and I think when you speak from your heart with an intention it will always be received that way ❤️
