My schooling has showed me that this doesn't work, and that you need conceal your intentions to cunningly achieve your business goals. What do you answer to that approach, and how do you think your approach is working today?

I enjoy reselling new and used items, but I have neither the time nor inclination to source inventory in person at retailers, yard sales, thrift stores, etcetera. Instead, I like to source inventory online. Would you suggest that resellers like me, when sourcing inventory, focus on sourcing return/overstock pallets from online-based liquidators to resell on eBay and other online marketplaces? I'm just not sure where I should focus on sourcing used inventory online, especially in a time-efficient way.

Some of these vendors have 5-, 10-, or 20-packs of vintage shirts you can buy for resale, so that you aren't contending with the drawbacks of buying enormous quantities of product.

Sometimes they do that to keep the pallets from shifting. These came from Nj, the way they packed them required a proper loading dock and a forklift to go on the truck

Slower sadly to do that. Buying bulk is slower than sourcing in person unless you have space and staff and other ways to process bulk.

Only cash. You can get into huge problems buying lots on credit imo
