We cruise Royal and have been on with Mario but never met him. We agree with him that Royal is the best! This is the first really good interview I have seen with Mario, so thank you! PS, we’re from Western NY so must be close since you talked about the Welland Canal!

Hey being on vacation full time that is the life!
He apparently has been "on vacation" his whole life, since he is a MALE! He did say that cruising is "especially (perfect) for ladies.... you don't have to go to grocery, shopping, cooking, washing dishes, cleaning, make your bed, laundering, chores".... etc He had women doing these in the past, now he's got the cruise line....

What an interesting interview. Cool to see someone like Mario before I take my first cruise with my 3 kiddos and the wife. New sub great job, we’re going on icon as our first cruise in April.

Yes, but then he doesn't have so many day to day expenses we have on land like groceries, cleaning supplies, yard maintenance costs, etc.

I think Mario has a car in Miami - after all, he is likely there every weekend

Only thing that i miss on longer cruise (i been now in January on 15 day cruise) is my cars.I know it will not happen in my lifetime but cruise with lower deck been some garage where you could park your car and then drive it on destinations would be amazing
@dzonikg yes I miss driving too when I’m on a long cruise but I have no desires driving in foreign countries.
No Dr appointments, dentist, no family to visit, what a drab life, tiny room.....??

I would be lonely cruising without my family. I love cruising but I think 2 weeks tops for me.
