I just had my son. He came naturally on his due date. My labored stalled for two hours at 6 cm and I was trying to labor naturally. When it was time to break my water to move labor along, I was able to make an informed decision to take the epidural after watching many of your videos. After receiving the epidural my body did what it needed to do and I dilated to a 9. After that, my waters were bulging so they did go ahead and break them. The epidural was the right choice for me and I had an extremely speedy recovery!
I love these positive and successful VBAC stories! I’m due in 3 weeks, and these stories keep me energized❤️ Thank you, Bridget and all the mamas who inspire us with your empowering birth stories!
I’m in the same boat full term in 2 weeks and had my first at 38 weeks so I’m praying for a successful VBAC
Hii ..... VBAC completed ?
I had a very similar story with my second. Surprise! No epidural. The midwife very calmly told me, your body was MADE for this! Her belief calmed me and I recalled the birth stories I’d heard. My husband got on the bed behind me and supported me that way. I caught my daughter in my own hands. It was the most incredible experience and I went on to have 2 more planned unmedicated births!
You go momma 🙌🏿🙌🏿💪🏿!
vbac or normal delivery?if ypur vbac how many gap you maintain ?
@@komaloli8062 I’ve had 2 VBAC births, without an epidural 🙌🏿! I have my birth stories on my channel if you’re interested 😁!
@@ShadesofSageyehh
I m interested.and how many gap was ther between your c section and 1st vbac ?
@@komaloli8062 My first was 20 months apart, and my second was 14 months
I like how open Bridget is to all kinds of birth and birth options, weighing the pros and cons.
Thank you for sharing! Bridget, you really helped me get in the right frame of mine for a successful VBAC, which I had in early July!
Yay 🥳! Congratulations to you ❤️!
Did ur Dr said anything about how much your old scar thickness should be to can do vbac?
Congratulations to you momma💕! I had two epidural free VBAC births as well🤗! I share my birth stories on my motherhood channel also. I planned for it and wouldn’t have it any other way! Blessings to you and your family ❤️!
I was induced at 39 weeks. My water broke at home at 3am. I waited till 5am and did not have any contractions. I went to the hospital without my midwifes. Bc the hospital I was suppose to give birth was full. So the doctor said I had two options. Wait 12 hours for labor to start naturally. Or get induced. So I got induced. Contractions started at 7 and started pushing around 1030ish. And gave birth to my daughter at 1109. It was an amazing experience without my midwifes
What an awesome story!
I just had my baby boy July 17th and I wanted so badly to be able to do it without pain relievers but in the end I decided I would get the epidural. It was amazing though. I wouldn't change anything about my birth. I hate that Covid took away the ability to have my mom with me but my husband was amazing and so supportive and I had 2 of the most amazing L&D nurses who made me feel much better and helped me feel confident about the decision I was making. My OBGYN was also great. I'm so thankful I have my precious boy here finally. He was just barely 37 weeks gestation and my water randomly broke after we put our foster kids to bed. My husband and I were watching a song mashup of Ozzie Osborne and Earth, Wind and Fire and we were both laughing so much then all the sudden I was like 😮😰 "uh I think my water just broke"
😂😂 Did not expect to be having my baby that day but my best friend had just said the day before "I think he's gonna be here by the end of the week" 😅
I had my son on July 14th at 38w 5d. I'd love to share my positive birth experience as labor and delivery was an absolute dream for me. I live in Canada and think I could offer a different perspective compared to what you traditionally see for vaginal hospital deliveries in the States.
Thank you very much! You give me hope. I'm expecting VBAC with gestational diabetes and am so afraid of inducing, but you give me hope :)
What a good episode! That mama is hardcore! 4th baby? She looks so young and so radiant! I love that she shared some fantastic C-section tips and recovery tips from one of her previous births. Really insightful, heart warming and inspiring! Thanks Bridget and Victoria! Congratulations on your pregnancy as well Bridget, love, Anja xxxx
Love your videos! I have been searching through your library trying to find tips on what to pack in a newborn's diaper bag for new mom's. Also, tips on what to have in your car for newborn/ toddlers.
I hope you can feature me in birth story. I gave birth last June 27. I'm from the Philippines. I wanna share how much you helped me and pay back to others. I had a successful VBAC
Congratulations 🎉🥳❤️!
hey bridget ! thanx for sharing valuabl advices, tips & tricks. i delivered by folowing your breathing techniques very easily and natyrally. i wish to b part of birth stories too. how may i do it ???
why are doctors so worried about shoulder dystocia? my baby was just under 4kg and they pressured me to get a c section the next day because of the risk of shoulder dystocia. is the risk really that high? i was born naturally and i was heavier than that.
What’s wrong with pitocin? I had this same thing. Pitocin was painful I was up to 21.But it was worth it .
Beautiful!!!
This is an incredible story I also popped my blood vessels in my eyes with my first and I unfortunately had a pretty bad tear and my skin was literally so green I didn’t look like myself it was crazy I looked like an ogre 😂
What is that sound. Yuck
