Even if you add in all the unidentified bodies it still doesn't make up for the previous overinflated death ratio of women and children. As any rational person was saying: It can't be that there are no military aged men in Gaza. Also, using "child" to describe anyone under 19 is dishonest
Take note: they said unidentified bodies in the rubble. How did they know the bodies are even there in the first place? Can anyone see the deceptive nature of such a report? Agree, UN is utterly dishonest at best, and highly deceptive at worst. World peace cannot possibly be achieved through such a group of people in the UN.

From the very beginning of the war you can see the UN starting from it’s Secretary General behaving in a way that we sensed that it was not fair to Israel.
UN was caught on video helping Hamas but oddly not on this channel

The 10 thousand unidentified or under rubble is a non exact figure. How do you know how many people are under the rubble and are they all the unidentified. Any death in war is terrible, dreadful and a waste of human life but this is a war started by Hamas and as the Hamas leaders live safely in other countries, why didn’t those countries open their doors to protect innocent life.

How can you tell how many people are in the rubble but not knowing if it are women and children? She tries even to add the 10.000 missing people on the 34.000? How much houses were demolished from Hamas rockets? How many where killed just because Hamas forced them not to follow eviction orders?

The point is that that Hamas run health ministry drastically exaggerated the number of women and children killed. Even if every one of those “unidentified or missing” bodies were all woman and children they still wouldn’t reach the prior numbers the U.N put out. And there is no doubt many of the unidentified bodies are Men. If we go off of the current ratio of men to women/children, it is nearly 1:1. That’s why this is important. This news story is what’s fake

You are stating opinion as fact. You claim that the health ministry 'drastically exaggerated...' but offer ZERO evidence for this.
What you are saying if false, that's not what they said. All they said is that the UN has moved the unidentified corps into its own category. But the number of children and women hasn't been changed. The thing is, if you have a small body it's of course a child, but some children were so disfigured that they couldn't be identified: the UN has moved these into the "unidentified" category. Neither the number of death nor the "type" (men, women, children) has changed.

The UN was going off numbers they were given by the Hamas led health ministry. when faced with actually having to confirm those numbers, the UN had to drastically reduce the number of confirmed dead. In this day and age you can’t just fake those kind of numbers forever

Over 10 000 ' women and children casualties ' were reclassed as ' unidentified ' : to be be clear, that does NOT mean 10 000 physically unidentified bodies lie in morgues - rather that based on certain ' reliable sources ', 10 000 more casualties are estimated...in other words, pure Islamist propaganda.
The May 6th figures shows "> 9500 women" and "> 14,500 children".
Then the May 8th figures show "4,959 women" and "7,797 children".
> 9,500 + > 14,500 = > 24,000 total women and children.
4,959 + 7,797 = 12,756
> 24,000 - 12,756 = > 11,244
34,844 total - 24,686 identified = 10,158 unidentified.
Even if all the unidentified bodies were women & children, the previous count was still 1,086 too high.
There aren't enough unidentified bodies (even 2 days later, with a higher total) to account for the numbers removed from the women & children subtotals.
And it is completely unreasonable to assume that all of the unidentified bodies are women and children.
For peace UN should include in the report the number of child soldiers recruited to fight for Hamas

It says that the percentage of deaths were "recalculated" it could be either they recast the old ratio of 34k deaths to reflect in the identified ones OR it could be recount of deaths of women and children that are actually identified
the death toll is horrific but the proportion of combatents to non combatents does matter because a higher ratio of women and children killed amplifies the idea that the IDF are being indisciminate in their attacks
Even if you believe the numbers from Hamas without any critical thought (as you seem to), the civilian to fighter death ratio in Gaza is a fraction of similar rates in other modern conflicts.
Even with the previous numbers, the ratio of civillians was lower than during the tskeover of Mosul in 2017

Even if you estimate 50% more dead than confirmed that doesn't get you from 7k teenager children to 15k. The numbers make it look like they were exaggerating by 50% instead of 100%.
No you're not mathing right. They're claiming a 50% reduction. You're looking at it as the opposite, but the opposite of a 50% reduction is a 100% increase.

That has since been revised for both women (reducing from 9,500 to 4,959, a roughly 50% decrease) and children (reducing from 14,500 to 7,797, a roughly 50% decrease). The overall number of deaths isn't what was reported to have been halved, it's the number of women and children that died. The 7500 is indeed a 50% reduction relative to 15,000. If you talk about the opposite, moving from 7500 to 15000, would be a 100% increase, that's the point I was clarifying initially.

The UN and world health org has to be remade into something that can actually work instead of gaslighting the free world.
I'll take them over Fox or Tel Aviv, especially since they're making the identified-versus-unidentified differentiation. This puts them ahead of the Gaza health ministry, whose *weekly, overall* body counts have always been proven true in time. Note that the 10k unidentified figure accords nicely with IDF estimated EKIA.

A corpse, unidentified, is still dead
It means that the body might be so badly desecrated that an ID of the individual who died cannot be made so they don't put them as part of people they positively claim is let say John Doe. So it's left out of the identified category.

Hamas considers all of them martyrs, that's what always bothers me about their statements. I think most people don't realize Hamas is not some Palestinian freedom movement but actually originated from the Egyptian Muslim brotherhood, a religiously motivated terrorist organization.

How did the UN counted them if they did not identified them ? Gaza is a small city, everybody knows everybody, if a person is missing it is very easy to identify them them, specially for UN. Isn't it suspicious an agency as big as UN has two sets of death toll count in gaza ? one for those who are identified and one for those unidentified.
