Can you clarify if side seam allowances need to be added to the bustier. In your tutorial you only show adding the shoulder seam allowance. Did you include the seam allowance for the center piece in with the side pieces?
Hi. It's always like that. Even if I can't really explain the reason. The solution to that is for you to add extra inches to the armhole when cutting your princess dart, then you trim accordingly after joining.
