@@SirJayWalkerthe other day I was riding my horse and went down a particularly large and steep mountain side. I went airborne for a record time and eventually hit the ground then skidded a very long time. It was epic and I have yet to repeat it lol.
@@SirJayWalker I like how buildings are more defined. It's hard for me to create things from scratch like no mans sky or valhiem. A building with a purpose and enough room to work in it

@@LadDox_ Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It's a medieval RPG with a massive focus on historical accuracy. It's one of the best games I have ever played. finally played this game. got 4 hours in. whole goal was build a house and get us each large backpack. we accomplished that. game is not easy to learn and guides are not well done from what i seen this best basics video i seen on it today. lol def needed
I put several hours into this game and I found myself spending more time on RUclips trying to learn everything than actually playing. I'm just not into overly complicated games.
A small update for Oxbow map. Bandits can appear during the first year as well, but at a much smaller amount. So far i only found 1 bandit camp, in the mountains east from Skauki :>
I changed seasons to 30 days. I've never let it go that long because the game's questline mechanics seem to be designed around shorter and it just doesn't move after so many days but three is just to short to get anything accomplished. So when things start dragging and I need a change of seasons to progress the questline I'll sleep it to the next one. And I haven't had to steal because there is so much awesome loot laying around in crashed carts and abandoned campsites. I got a couple of iron crossbows and damn those things change hunting alot. Still only managed to kill one fox though and that was with my axe when it came out from under a tree I was cutting up and started attacking me. I think it was mad I destroyed its home. ;)

Wait what? Can't believe I missed this until now. Each skill goes up to maximum 10? So you can only invest 10 points in each skill tree? Then the xp boosts are out the window. Need to check my priorities Edit: ok, just checked the wiki. Max 15 points per tree, but with the potion of possibilities it's easier to use the xp boost and respec when maxed
Just started the game and your stuff is the first thing that popped up in the search….. shits great and informative…. Plus a Nigga love the medieval I need a hero and I think Kate bush 😂🎉
So when starting out should you basically avoid taking villagers in until you have enough resources or? Should you pull them to the village as soon as able, I’ve been struggling understanding the mechanics on how they gather resources for you it just seems very slow and painful and like I have to do most of the work myself if you can explain this I’d very much appreciate it!
I pick up a villager as soon as I unlock the woodshed. a villager gathering logs and sticks for you will save you a lot of time. Sometimes I like to get 2 woodsheds going so I don't have to bother chopping trees and picking up sticks all day!
I keep getting killed by boars 😂 I have zero clue what I'm doing . Built 5 buildings and now I'm just doing a farming quest ? When do I get to build more so I can recruit. Also how to do you regain health besides sleeping one
To increase your village size you will need dynasty Reputation which you get from story and side quests! Another way to regain health is to find an herb called broadleaf plantain. You can find them on the ground or herbalists sell them, along with potions of healing
Food rots in between seasons, so if you leave it on the ground before the season change, it will be converted to rot once you change to the next season
Can you show us some commands we should know? I’d like to know if we could add show villager names on the map, or how to view your village from overhead.
I'll consider it! And I wish you could add their names to the map, but I don't think you can, sadly. To view your village overhead, switch to third-person, go to options, and choose photo mode! 🙂
You can make Fertilizer in a barn using manure, which you can obtain by pigs, but if you are in the early game, i recommend gathering berries/making food and dropping it on the ground on the last day of the season. on the 1st day of the next season, the food will turn to rot, which can also be used to make fertilizer in a barn. hope this helps!
@@SirJayWalkerare we supposed to be reasonably able to get our own barn? Or is there a barn in the village we can use? I found it hard to upgrade the right skills to be able to build the barn.
3:01 ill believe you when pigs fly! ahh clip 💀 PS. after watching this video i realize how much i did wrong im just gonna start a new campaign PS PS. scratch that i dont think im cut out for this game too much pressure and i cant do all the village stuff. i guess i just want a survival game without all this.
turning on the custom game settings helps out a lot. took me 5-10 years in game to really get the village stuff down. In my first run, i didn't even invite villagers 😊 don't give up!
Is it just me or is this game insanely grindy in the beginning? I have spent hours chopping down trees and still haven't even recruited any villagers. Am I missing something? I thought I'd be able to recruit someone to help me build, gather resources, etc., but so far I've had to do all the work myself.
Without villagers its very grindy 😆 by the end of the first year I like to get 2 woodsheds and 2 extraction villagers to gather logs and sticks, which saves from chopping trees as much.
the game is fun, and i realize it's in early access, and i appreciate the ability to change all the settings, but... having started with default settings, the game did some really inconvenient things to me my first playthrough. it gave me quests, but suddenly one of the quests sent me like 1000 meters away, which ran me into wolves and killed me. i could not find a bag for the life of me, i still haven't found a bag, not for sale nor a way to craft one. i'm able to build 5 buildings. i built all the buildings, but still don't have a food storage and still only have 65 reputation. so, i've built the wrong buildings, i don't want to destroy them because you don't get materials back or at least, not many materials back. and my angry, lazy wife is unhappy, thirsty, and i can occasionally feed her by putting food in her chest, but now i've gotta make the 1000m treck to find the next quest marker in order to get more than 5 buildings i guess. i really wish you could turn the questing off, or at least turn the requirement to do the quests to progress off. one day it became night and i slept and the next day i was in a random place, it was a new season, and i had failed all the quests. i literally quit playing.
Update: Bandits have a chance to spawn year one 💀 If i notice anymore mistakes, i'll leave them here
