I am always impressed with the level of tennis from all the TW playtesters, both male and female. You really get the feeling these folks have the games to truly put each racquet to the meaningful test. TW and its playtesters are a great resource. Thanks to all.
this muted feel is actually a huge step forward. Younger players will enentually have advantage using these technologies. But some people are unable to readapt and will forever admire "old" racquet feel, which is just vibrations on off center hits.
You guys always say about how each person has a different play style. Can you please make a video about it because I still don't get the types of play styles. Thanks.
We prefer a co-poly, something like Head Lynx Edge at about 52 pounds. To add a bit more feel, and comfort, I recommend the Head Primal Hybrid, at about 54 pounds. Troy, TW
@Dan Moriarty, This Graphene Touch Radical MP is heavier, and closer in weight/swingwieght specs to the Pure Aero La Decima, not the Lite version. That said, this Radical MP is more flexible, has a bit less power, and is more stable on contact, compared to the Pure Aero Lite La Decima. The Pure Aero La Decima Lite is very maneuverable, provides easy access to spin, but lacks the stability and plow through, that the Radical MP provides. Troy, TW
I currently use Wilson pro staff RF 97, Im a single hand backhand player. How is Radical MP compared to mine? I lack power in my game, suggest me a good racquet.
This one is more maneuverable, and maybe slightly easier access to power. I would also consider the Yonex VCORE 98, Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19. Troy, TW
@Adesh Arora, It is hard to say which one is better for you, unless you try some demos and get a feel for each racquet. That said, if you are wanting to know which one we preferred, it was the Pure Strike 98 16x19. You can check out our reviews here: www.tennis-warehouse.com/Reviews/PS16/PS16Review.html, and www.tennis-warehouse.com/reviews/HGTRMP/HGTRMPreview.html. Troy, TW
Tennis Warehouse thanks a lot for replying! Unfortunately I can't get a demo here. I have already read your reviews and I'm considering the babolat! Can you give me any tips about what strings should I use at what tension witht to get more comfort, feel and power?
@BanginEagle, Compared to the Youtek IG Radical MP, this new Graphene Touch Radical MP is stiffer, more powerful, and provides easier access to spin; 16x19 string pattern, compared to 18x20 of the Youtek IG Radical MP. The Youtek IG Radical MP has better control, and a softer/more flexible feel on contact. Troy, TW
@Adrià Cot i Porta, The Speed MP has a bit bigger sweet-spot, and is feels a bit more maneuverable. Although this Graphene Touch Radical MP has a slightly smaller head-size, compared to the Speed MP, we found it to have more power; we found better control and predictability with the Speed MP. This Radical MP has a bit more stability on contact, and a livelier response overall. Spin-potential is pretty similar with both racquets. Troy, TW
@LUIS OCTAVIO NASCIMENTO, We find the Wilson Blade 98 16x19 to have better control. We would give the slight edge in comfort to the Wilson Blade 98 16x19 as well. We found better control with the Head Graphene XT Radical MP A (strung as 16x19), compared to the new Graphene Touch version. Troy, TW
Hi Tennis warehouse. I have recently bought a babolat pure strike 16x19 *the new one* . I’m 14 years old an roughly a bit higher than an intermediate player. What string type would you recommend because I want something powerful with spin but just a bit muted feeling a bit soft what would you recommend I was thinking the rpm blast rough what would you reckon?
@Alu, RPM Rough is a good option. I would also consider Kirschbaum Pro Line II, and Signum Pro Hyperion, both of which have a softer and muted feel, for being co-polys. Troy, TW
I am 15 and I am nationally ranked with a UTR of 9. I would not recommend RPM Blast Rough or Tour Bite as recommended above. At your level and with that frame polyester would not be ideal. I know it's like " all the pro's use it", but they have built the muscle and have the correct stroke mechanics. For polyester strings to be worth it, you need too be able to generate enough racket head speed too make the string snap back, which most kid's (Not trying to talk down to you or anything, and maybe your strong enough and or have good enough technique but the average kid) at your age can't. Polyester also needs to be restrung often and it is a waste of money to buy more and more strings and the cost of stringing. It doesn't matter if you are Roger Federer or better if you play with a dead Polly you will hurt your arm. Even if you do restring, for most players it will still hurt their arms. My recommendation is to use the Multi Head RIP. It is very spin friendly and muted and it won't hurt your arm, plus you won't need too restring untill you break it which will be most likley once every month! @Tennis Warehouse let me know if I am right on this! Thanks, Down The Line Tennis
@Le Truong Minh, This Head Graphene Touch Radical MP has a slightly heavier feel, with some added plow, and power. It also has a more dampened/muted feel. The Pro Staff 97L is easier to maneuver, and has a better precision. Troy, TW
@Piero De Bianchi, The Head Graphene Touch Radical MP has a bit more control. With the Graphene Touch technology, it plays a bit more dampened, and comfortable. The new VCORE 98 has a bit more power, and plays slightly more firm. Spin potential is good with both racquets. Troy, TW
@Piero De Bianchi, We prefer this Graphene Touch Radical MP, having a larger sweet-spot, and feeling more stable on contact compared to the Tecnifibre TFight DC 300 Racquet. We really like the Graphene XT Radical MP A (strung as 16x19), and it is currently cheaper than the Graphene Touch version on our website. From Tecnifibre, we like the new ATP TFight 305 XTC Racquet. Troy, TW
adding to your opinion, I'd like to add that this guy blames on the racquet his lack of a proper technique. Nobody will push him back, or toy him around if he would spend time learning to play tennis in stead of changing strings or racquets
@Cameron Christie, We are glad you like the racquet. Our review is a matter of opinion, and we prefer the feel that some of the older Head racquets once had. Although our playtesters do not favor a certain racquet, that does not mean that other players won't love the racquet's performance. Troy, TW
Haha, here it is again! I thought it we wouldn't hear it this time, because he was first up. He usually says "As Chris lamented". Somebody needs to tell him!!!!
MrCloudAtlas yeah, someone really should tell Mark. I love his reviewing style but it is a bit cringey to hear him use it incorrectly each video. Maybe he knows what it means and it’s just a prank?
@BoriS, This Radical MP has more control compared to the EZONE DR 100. The power/control level of this Radical MP, is more similar to the EZONE 98. Troy, TW

The feel is amazing and it's and all around great rackets
Awesome racquet - with great control and power :)
Tiffany is My hero. A great player. ...
I tried on the gt radical pro and it felt good in my hand, only there is no mp in the store just the lite, and the pro
You guys always say about how each person has a different play style. Can you please make a video about it because I still don't get the types of play styles. Thanks.
@the.original. Vu,
Sure! Stay tuned...

Do you guys have any idea when will the 360 radical come . And Iove to Michelle
@Shivansh Agarwal,
We aren't for certain, when the Radicals will be getting updated. Stay tuned!
Troy, TW
@@tenniswarehouse how about now? :)
head radical is 98 inches, or is 95 inches titled 98 inches as with the prestige MP?
It is a true 98. Some of the older radicals, (pre-graphene) were 95 labeled as 98, but since Graphene tech, they have been 98 headsize. Troy, TW
What's a good way to string this racket? Tension, string type, etc.
We prefer a co-poly, something like Head Lynx Edge at about 52 pounds. To add a bit more feel, and comfort, I recommend the Head Primal Hybrid, at about 54 pounds. Troy, TW
Tw im really stuck between this racket and the babalet pure aero light decima

This doesnt feel right without Andy D:
Radical S review coming up I hope?
@Val M,
Unfortunately, we are not planning to review the Graphene Touch Radical S at the moment.
Michelle, TW
Hi TW, could you compare it to the old IG Youtek line?
@BanginEagle,
Compared to the Youtek IG Radical MP, this new Graphene Touch Radical MP is stiffer, more powerful, and provides easier access to spin; 16x19 string pattern, compared to 18x20 of the Youtek IG Radical MP. The Youtek IG Radical MP has better control, and a softer/more flexible feel on contact.
Troy, TW
How does this compare with a yonex ezone dr 98
This one feels a bit stiffer, and slightly more powerful. Troy, TW
what song is this?
Hi TW! How does this compare with the Speed MP?
@Adrià Cot i Porta,
The Speed MP has a bit bigger sweet-spot, and is feels a bit more maneuverable.

Wilson blade 16x19 compared to this one? Which one has more control and is more comfortable?
@LUIS OCTAVIO NASCIMENTO,
We find the Wilson Blade 98 16x19 to have better control. We would give the slight edge in comfort to the Wilson Blade 98 16x19 as well. We found better control with the Head Graphene XT Radical MP A (strung as 16x19), compared to the new Graphene Touch version.
Troy, TW
Can’t beat the old Radical 18/20s for feel and control.
40 Love you can, Dunlop 200s are nicer feeling and more responsive
Hey TW, how does this racquet compare to the Yonex EZONE DR 98 (310g)?
@Skyelar Ng,
This Radical MP is lighter, stiffer, and a bit more powerful compared to the DR 98 (310g).

Tennis Warehouse thank you Troy!
