1990 Mazda 929 V6i Review

A quick look into the 1990 Mazda HC 929 top of the range V6i Model.
The silky smooth 3.0 Litre 18 Valve SOHC JE V6 engine makes 116kW of of power @5000RPM and a torque of 269 Nm @4500RPM.
This is a luxury car so do not expect sports handling but suspension setup is very comfortable. Interior noise is very low.
Boot is really big and the rear seats are very comfortable.
Worth having a look for someone who wants a second car for the weeks to drive the family around comfortably or those longs drives.

It's interesting that these car has some functions (cruise control?) on the steering wheel. I think the first European luxury car was the BMW E38 with this option. Thank's for the video.

Nice car my dad had one for 10 years. Can't fault it other than the transmission started to slip at 265,000kms.

my parents test drove the 89 929 but bought a friggin 88 626 instead

We had 1989 626 few years.
Terrible car to drive on winter conditions because the rear end always lost traction.
Our 1990 Camry was way better and felt balanced even on snow.

12.5 L/100km City
9.5 L/100km Highway
I roughly got 550km on a tank which averages to 12.75 L/100km and I did mostly city driving.

The 929's from the early to mid eighties were slower with their 2 L engines but FAR more stylish than the one you have which is as ugly as fuck.
