Southern Sales would have these cars on display and my gosh they looked so futuristic and awesome at the point in time...longing to own one when I get my drivers permit. There are a few on the road today but most are close to being derilict.
That was my first car, i did not have any badges so most people thought it was a volvo... definitely not "a monster" was a normal full size car - volvo/mercedes/bmw7/opel senator/ford scorpio all similar sized ( but the 929 had the nicest dashboard)

Yep,in arab countries come modela Limited with white leather roof top and cromativ badge L on the hood
Arab countries got many early 80's and 90's Japanese cars, while we didn't.
We got them from them and European private imports.
