As a viewer, it doesn't matter how great the actors or directors are on a show / movie. If the story is crap, there's only so much anyone can do. The executives for sure cannot do anything other than to hire good writers. The writing is the backbone of anything that comes out of Hollywood

It's sadly true a.i will take over and it's making animation so at a year or two honestly they will be no writers, no actors, no humans needed at all it can all ready makes songs and copy and or make new vocals with a face and animation weather you want it to look real or fake

As a layman from Taiwan, I sometimes really think that a good story line(script) matters more than the acting skills of actors/actresses and the directing skills of directors.
But, unfortunately, the screen writers' value has been underestimated by the industry and market for too long.

imagine if photographs had been banned because it used to threaten painters and portraitists , no more cars just to make horse carriage drivers more comfortable . the car and photograph are machines as well , but the human is the one making it work . same for A.I
Soon there will be a copyrightable A.I system based on free images and expired copyright content . what will all artists do then ? move to ban it altogether . if you're afraid of progress you should either embrace it or do better than it if you want to stay on top .
There's a high demand for good writing in movies and tv shows right now, higher than many of these writes don't seem to comprehend as their main concern is money right now, people want it and people will get it one way ( with better writers) or the other (with A.I) someone will give it to us ultimately and those who can't keep up will fall behind missed only by the few .

So we are all supposed to feel sorry for these writers who demand we not have any new films from new writers who use AI to help them generate a script to give new fresh ideas and movies with deep thought and meaning? Here's to unions that hold back innovation in the US. While other countries and film studios start producing the most thought provoking new styles of writing in the next hundred years. Oh, no... not if the Screen Writers have their way. I say not a chance. Hollywood will be like a ghost town as procedural AI cut down production costs and allow innovation to occur elsewhere, as writers try to keep their cost down the old fashioned way... by asking for more control and money.

Writers want an AI block to save their jobs? Should we also block autonomous trucks and vehicles to save drivers' jobs? Should we still be riding in human-operated elevators? Society should forego automation in factories and warehouse storage/shipping too? If writers would have been writing anything worthwhile over the last decade they would have been earning an actual living. Perhaps people are tired of remake after remake and cheesy alternate-universe plotlines. Relying on AI to write scripts and plots may just give movie and television viewers some new and _interesting_ to watch... for a change. Technology marches on and it will continue to march over the top of the most easily replaced human activities regardless of how much they whine while it happens.

Title: "Stink Wars: Battle of the Wretched"
    Genre: Comedy/Adventure
    Plot Summary:
In the whimsical world of "Stink Wars: Battle of the Wretched," two unlikely groups of misfits collide in an epic clash: the Stinkblasters and the Garbage Pail Kids. The Stinkblasters, a team of foul-smelling superheroes armed with stench-based powers, have dedicated themselves to protecting the world from odor-related crimes. Meanwhile, the mischievous and misfit Garbage Pail Kids, a group of grotesque and irreverent characters, thrive on causing chaos and playing pranks.
When an ancient artifact capable of unleashing the most putrid stench in the universe is discovered, both groups set their sights on possessing it for their own purposes. The Stinkblasters believe it must be safeguarded, while the Garbage Pail Kids see it as the ultimate tool for their prank-filled mayhem.
As the Stinkblasters and the Garbage Pail Kids compete to retrieve the artifact, their rivalry escalates into a hilariously outrageous battle. Each side deploys their unique arsenal of comedic and unconventional weapons, ranging from noxious gases and smelly projectiles to outrageous pranks and absurd antics. The clash between their stench-based powers and outrageous hijinks creates a comedic spectacle that tests the limits of smell tolerance and laughter.
In the midst of the chaotic battle, the Stinkblasters and the Garbage Pail Kids gradually come to understand each other's motivations and discover that they share more in common than they initially thought. United against a common threat, they must set aside their differences and work together to prevent the artifact from falling into the wrong hands-a nefarious villain who seeks to unleash an unprecedented stench upon the world.
With slapstick humor, over-the-top gags, and heartwarming moments of friendship, "Stink Wars: Battle of the Wretched" delivers a hilarious and heartwarming adventure. Will the Stinkblasters and the Garbage Pail Kids find a way to cooperate and save the world from the ultimate stench catastrophe, or will their antics be their downfall?
Note: This plot combines the worlds and characters of Stinkblasters and Garbage Pail Kids, aiming to create a light-hearted and comical story.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, AI is our next Industrial Revolution. Where back then it was advancements in machinery taking factory jobs, it’s AI taking not only creative jobs but also white collar jobs; anything that can be done on a computer basically. Where machinery limited the number of dangerous jobs that people and factories had to endure, what benefit is given to the workers when AI is brought up? I’d say mental health related issues! I can see AI being used in small doses, not something to entirely take over a field of work, but instead to aid the person working. Give them livable wages for the job their doing, freelance work be paid accordingly with the implementation of small AI in the work, and both creative workers and white collar workers may stay within the middle class!

It does lack a certain je ne sais quoi, but I think they should definitely work with it rather than fear it! My biggest complaint currently is there's a disappointing lack of grit, even when asked for more, but that's because ChatGPT was programmed to be rather mild mannered.
Title: The Competition, by ChatGPT, pitch and full dialogue form:
The episode begins with Jerry performing at a small comedy club to a lackluster crowd. After his set, he hears about a new trend in comedy: AI comedians. Jerry scoffs at the idea, believing that nothing can replace human creativity and wit.
The next day, Jerry is at the coffee shop with George, discussing his disbelief in AI comedians. Kramer bursts in and announces that he has invested in a company that creates AI comedians and believes they will soon dominate the comedy world. Jerry is outraged and determined to prove that he is better than any AI comedian.
Jerry begins to research AI comedians and watches their sets online. He is unimpressed with their lack of nuance and originality. He complains to Elaine about it, but she is more interested in the technology behind the AI comedians.
Jerry decides to challenge an AI comedian to a comedy duel. He chooses the best AI comedian he can find and arranges a live performance at the comedy club. The audience is excited to see this historic event, and the tension is high.
Jerry goes on first and delivers a stellar set, full of his classic observational humor. The crowd is laughing and applauding, and Jerry is feeling confident. However, when the AI comedian comes on stage, Jerry is surprised at how well it performs. The AI comedian has clearly studied Jerry's style and is using similar techniques to great effect.
Jerry realizes that the AI comedian is not a mindless machine but is programmed with sophisticated algorithms that can analyze and mimic human behavior. He begins to feel threatened, realizing that the AI comedian can improve and adapt much faster than he can.
In the end, Jerry reluctantly admits that the AI comedian was impressive, but he still believes that human comedy is superior. The episode ends with Jerry back at the coffee shop, discussing his experience with George and Elaine. As they leave, Jerry sees a robot barista making coffee and mutters to himself, "Comedy's the last bastion of humanity. At least, for now."
Scene: Jerry and George are sitting in Monk's Café, sipping coffee.
Jerry: Did you hear about these AI comedians?
George: (shrugs) Yeah, I heard about them. So what?
Jerry: So what? They're taking over comedy!
George: What are you talking about? No one wants to see a robot tell jokes.
Jerry: (animatedly) That's what I'm saying! Nothing can replace human creativity and wit.
    Kramer bursts in.
Kramer: Hey, guys! You're never going to believe what I just invested in.
Jerry: (sarcastically) Please tell me it's not AI comedians.
Kramer: (excitedly) Yes, it is! They're the future of comedy, Jerry. They'll put all of us out of business!
Jerry: (outraged) I don't think so, pal. No robot can out-funny me.
The next scene shows Jerry at home, browsing the internet.
Jerry: (muttering to himself) Let's see what all the fuss is about.
Jerry clicks on a video of an AI comedian performing.
Jerry: (watching the video) This is terrible. No nuance, no originality.
Jerry complains to Elaine about the AI comedians.
Elaine: (intrigued) I think it's fascinating. The technology behind it is incredible.
Jerry decides to challenge an AI comedian to a comedy duel. The scene cuts to the comedy club.
Jerry: (to the audience) Are you ready for a battle of wits?
The crowd cheers as Jerry takes the stage.
Jerry: (performing his set) Why do they call it rush hour when nothing is moving?
The crowd laughs and applauds. Jerry looks confident.
The AI comedian takes the stage.
AI Comedian: (in a monotone voice) Why do they call it rush hour when nothing is moving?
The crowd laughs, but Jerry looks concerned.
Jerry: (thinking to himself) That's my joke! How did it steal my joke?
The AI comedian continues its set, using Jerry's trademark humor and observational style.
Jerry: (to himself) This is not good.
The scene cuts to Jerry, George, and Elaine back at Monk's Café.
Jerry: (defeated) I have to admit, that robot was pretty good.
George: (smirks) So, you're not the best comedian in the world after all.
    Jerry: (sarcastically) Very funny, George.
As they leave, Jerry sees a robot barista making coffee.
Jerry: (to himself) Comedy's the last bastion of humanity. At least, for now.

@@doityourselfa It was more like it has a tendency towards sudden happy endings with little strife before that, at which point it has the character say something about the moral in a kind of forced way, and not about anything too heavy. It doesn't feel organic. I guess it's like older TV shows that were aimed at youth. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not satisfying if it's delivered in a upfront cardboard cutout way with no heart or spirit whatsoever.
I do like what it did with "The Competition" though because the point was subtle and clever when I reread it. The comedian AI is literally just parroting what Jerry says and mimicking his style, nothing novel and creative, and he's foolish enough to not realize this and worry.
