You have to question the forensics and why they made him the shooter when the bullets couldn’t have matched his gun and why his own legal team didn’t make this the core focus of their defence. They appear to have just accepted he was the shooter despite a key witness saying it was Diddy and there being no forensic evidence to link him. It points to there really being a conspiracy to set him up and it includes the NYPD and his own defence team. Clearly Diddy paid a lot of people off to ensure Shyne was the only one to get charged and convicted while he walked free.

Not just Diddy, he needs to think about filing lawsuits against the NYPD and probably his own defence tesm who sll conspired against him. The forensics should have cleared him as the one that shot those people, yet I’m hearing no such work was ever carried out or was manipulated. It should have been the key focus of his team’s defence yet they chose to just accept what they were told without asking to see the evidence.

She did hair downstairs from my grandma’s apartment in Brooklyn and my sister came upstairs talking about the lady who did her hair was shot in the club by Diddy. She talked about the fragments still being in her face and everything when we went downstairs to meet her. Her story has never changed and this was decades ago. I’ll never forget this and she deserves justice.
Shyne needs to sue the authorities for compensation. They took years of his life.
If he is unwilling to say who did it and "took the fall"...then he doesn't deserve to sue.
He can't sue them. All he ever said was, "I didn't do it." He was unwilling to say who did do it or anything else that could have actually helped with his defense.
He’s definitely got a strong case if he can show that either the forensics weren’t done at all or they were manipulated to make him the prime suspect when they should have cleared him when the bullets couldn’t have matched his gun. You could also qusstion why his own defence team didn’t make this a key element of their clients innocence unless they were paid off to ensure he was found guilty. This would bring into question a lot of people in law enforcement and the judiciary all being involved in a conspiracy to set him up. If he files a lawsuit expect them to settle out of court, if they did it to him the same people, esp in law enforcement and the forensics lab used probably did it to others and it could lead to many more people wanting cases reopened and evidence being retested.

He probably had little choice in the matter when it looks like the NYPD, the forensics lab used snd his own defence team all conspired against him. He should be looking at filing lawsuits against all of them and I fully expect them to settle out of court or they could end up with many more following suit if they were wrongly convicted based on provided by certain law enforcement officials and the same forensics lab.

It turned out that the lawyers strategy to defend Diddy was to direct the suspicion onto Shyne. He said a couple of years ago that he forgave Diddy. He now feels that Diddy's lawyers were to blame and that Diddy was just misguided by his lawyers' advice.

He did not take the fall, he was framed. Once he got out of prison, he pressed Diddy and Diddy paid him. When he performed he changed alot of the lyrics to a more positive outlook because he has turn the page. It wasn't for Diddy, it was for himself and who he is today and what he is fighting for in his country. It was an important moment for too many years lost and deportion but it put him in a space of positive leadership for his country.
