It blows my mind we can see these top climbers in the world train and preform free for us to view. Get it Stefano!! Thanks for letting us watch your process and climbing! Best of luck on the wall and in life!
I guess with the ads and the reach for the brands in the form of sponsorship it's absolutely worth it - I don't mind some ads and product placement - it's the "pricey wie pay for such amazing content 😎
It's nice to see how Stephano, one of the best climbers in the world, approaches this goal of climbing the most difficult route in the world and gets advice from the master himself. I'm already looking forward to the next episode.
@@p_booth_fan This is true! But only do it if you are ready to project 9C, or else you will be haunted by an Adam ghost that power screams everytime you make a climbing move until you have completed 9C!
I just have to say- your channel is awesome Stef! Been watching since the first bibliographie videos and I have to say the quality has gone wayyy up and it’s amazing to see! The cinematography, vibe and personality really shines in this Silence series. Please keep it up, we love it!
These guys are special. I was smiling through pain when they said “Let’s do something not too hard. A 7b+”. Great training and mindset. And good luck with the Silence, Stefano!
One of my favorite ways to build fitness on these types of routes is to do “forced rests” where I climb around and keep the pump medium to high for 30 seconds to a minute, then make my way to the best rest on the wall, rest for 30 seconds, go again. I’ll do this to add up to 5 minutes or of climbing. It’s better than 4x4 or 3x3x3 because on a sport route you’ll never really completely disengage like you do for the other exercises.
It'd be funny if you and Adam reenacted that part in the Silence movie where he's on his back miming the crux moves with his trainer holding his foot... Except you'd be miming the moves and Adam would be holding your foot.
Suggested training 3 + 3 Each of you will be adding 3 moves until you reach about 30 - 40 moves. Difficulty of the moves and quantity you reach should depend on what you want to train. Fist one to fall looses.
Sure, but could could imitate with Boulder then a few easy moves to rest, then another hard section... Etc Of course is not the same, but you can structure it in a way that could be using the same energy systems
So super cool to see both of you together!!❤️😍 love both channels a lot. So calming, decelerate aura that you two have. Looking foreward to see more collaborating videos!!!
Both of you should play a game of “Add On” - someone makes the first move on the spray wall, next person does that move and “adds one more”. Trade back and forth until someone fails
Since crucks one is the main problem with its rotation and inverted climbing, maybe try to build on rotating body moves on the wall and body tension. Its so much Adams style and i think the key here to send it. Keep up the good work!
So nice to see you two working together. Even tho often enough you are rivals you help each other. Thats the spirit and an example for us all in every situation. I hope so much that you will be able to achieve your goal to send silence. Keep up these awsome videos, my man
This right here is what makes climbing so special and the best sport in the world. I hope the pro scene never loses its comradery and collaborative spirit, it sets the tone for the whole sport. Go Stefano, we can't wait to see you send it!!
Bravi Stefano e Adam, e bravi videomakers: devo dire che si vede un grande step in avanti nelle ultime settimane! Keep it up! PS: già ci avete svoltato i giovedì di questa fine estate...se ora arrivano anche le chicche non programmate ci fate volare troppo alto
You and Adam are each great inspirations to other climbers, whatever our experience level. You have different styles, but are both so focused yet encouraging of one another. As a relatively new climber, I've learned a lot from you.
In the Avengers movie the epic moment is when they assemble to bring down the foe. Stefano, Jakob and Adam against Flatanger cave, the dream team. We want more content about you guys bringing each other up to the next level 😉
Awesome challenge. So good to follow along with it. Hope you can keep up the motivation. Adam's speed and precision will be hard to match, but you'll probably need quite a bit of it to send it.
I really love that it looks like the only way to climb the hardest route in the world is to train inside this cool barn. Great vibe from there. 💪 Perfect conditions to you 🙏
You should get Magnus to come film it, and interview you projecting! I think he is the best filmer/climbing interviewer there is. I am hoping for a grade upgrade! it always seems to go the other way, just once I want to hear someone say this was way harder, it needs to go up. LOL still excited to see your opinion.
I have been thinking the exact same thing. I half expect this in the coming years as more of the top climbers climb it and attempt it, as well as when more 9C routes get established
Suggestion on plastic training before a day in the cave: - Keep the main part moderate to light - Make sure not to accumulate any lactic acid - do a light warm-up and a light warm down Seem like a good thing like to you did, to make it short. But maybe it was a little bit harder than it could have been? (Guess the stoke was high to have someone to train with!) The other plastic session before a rest day, I would make a lot harder, but off course training muscles that you don't use that much in the cave. I guess you don't just sit down throughout your rest day. Getting the blood flowing for half an hour usually has a very good impact on the recovery. Especially for someone as fit as you! I believe in your project! Really cool to follow you journey! Cheers
-hi, what is this? *it's a bouldershed. -nice, I can Boulder pretty good, is the shed open now? *sure, just go in, there are already 2 guys in training -excellent , I will show them some of my moves right now then! ....... Silence.
Wow! Such an interesting video! I think this is climbing at its apex! I am so grateful to be alive at in this year to learn from people like y'all! Love the ending!
Not an idea for the training, but the edit! Would love to see all 3 problems climbed by both, even if the first 2 were sped up. Nice to see the effort increase on each run :) it's great to see everyone try HARD and see the journey
Love it. So cool to see the supportive climbing culture extends to the very, very top. Maybe not the best training exercise, but then, given how weird the beta on silence is, maybe appropriate: come up with, and climb, the weirdest beta bouldering routes you can
Training: crux specific progression? Do easy model, make harder(angle or weight), then when stronger do 3x3 on that? ( do you as a pro benefit from general power endurance or does it need to be specific eg to a specific crux?). Thanks both for leading the community by putting friendship and openness first.
Gotta love the climbing community
Adam is so happy to have someone trying his climb and wants to help them as best he can
Adam probably wants to see Stefano on it more than no other, as he’s prolly the only climber that could confirm the 9c grade that Adam gave silence
@@trevorsesnic8162 I think the question at this point is whether it is harder than 9c or actually "just" 9c...
That, and I think Adam is there to try some projects of his own
@@johnnylevek9757 this. Maybe Nordic Marathon, or maybe a linkup of the crux of science into p2 of another route

Agree, I think he has some potential for climbing, saw him teach a guy named Ondra 2 years ago, so I guess he is quite experienced.
maybe he should try silence aswell

He literally climbed Silence, he was the first to do so and name the route as that
