40 year ago I had a hard time getting my wife to go camping, then she learned there are 12 volt DC hot plates, toasters, coffee pots. She found she could cook on the back of the van like you do. After that it was hard to keep her at home, we camped out 20 or more week ends a year. I miss her, she was fun like you.
Because of Hannah I've bought back all my cute clothes and cottage dresses that I lost in the camp fire. It's been three years of jeans and t shirts and since watching her, she's reminded me you can do what you want when you want and nobody is stopping you. So starting with my clothes I'm getting ME back! Thanks for being a weekly dose of freedom !
Hey neighbor! Chico gal here. I'm so glad to hear you've reclaimed your Self and you're living your best cottage-aesthetic life. Sending love and luck!
I had a chicken named Zetta who used to road trip with me. She'd just sit in the passenger seat like no big deal.😂 Damn I miss her. She was with me for 10 years.
wow that is different...Love us women who dare to go outside the box. I had a cat with almost same name that traveled with me in a van a lot like Hannah's ....and he would go off for the day when i parked somewhere for that long and he would return at dusk every time He seemed to totally understand when i talked to him so first day i told him (just to try it out and see if he got it) i told him... to come back at 7ish which in summer where we were was just before dark...and he did it ..and he did that every time. His name was Zephyr.
So many people myself included get "stuck" in life and don't appreciate how beautiful it can be. You always show us that there is more than one way to live and to do what makes you happy. I am a 40 year old single woman with no children and no major responsibilities and you have helped me want to make more of my life and just get out and enjoy the world. Thank you for being a light to me and many others. 💜
No one should be rolling their eyes at the love and care you put into sweet Despereaux. If anything they should be bowing to you for your angelic greatness. The compassion you put into that animal is an absolute gift.
Hi Hannah. You'll love your Silver Anniversary 8th generation Bricknose Bronco. The back seat should have a latch in the middle of the floor so that it can also fold forward when the seatback is folded down for longer cargo (like BBQ's). There should be a bolt on each side of the seat back hinge that you can take out so that the seat back can fold backwards into a bed, and, there should be pins near the floor to remove the whole seat. The passenger seat should have a lever to slide and tilt the whole seat forward so you can get into the back seat easier. Bronco doors and front body panels are the same as light duty F-series trucks. Get ALL of the fluids changed, and everything greased. There is an access panel on the inside of the tailgate that you can remove to clean and lubricate the rear window mechanism (a common problem on most Broncos). Don't be surprised at the 33 gallon fuel tank;-] Be advised, those removable hardtops are kind of heavy. Those vent windows in the doors can open and face forward to grab air. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard here in Michigan has lots of new parts and accessories. There's a RUclips channel called Broncos and Parts Garage that has good DIY repair videos. Just FYI your drivers side tail light is burned out. Broncos are bada$$! Enjoy your new toy. Thanks for posting.
I love seeing young women being independent . I come from a three sister family, I have two daughters. We have showed them they can do whatever they put their mind to. Keep going!!
ahh man i missed your van videos so much. I came here 2 years ago when you just got your cabin, i hope you do more travel videos like this in the future!
I love how you encourage people (young woman) to do want you’re doing with RUclips. You have such a beautiful positive attitude and you share your knowledge. Bravo!!! Instead of being jealous or something you share and encourage! Love it!!
That mouse yawn when you pet her 🥺 Also I think it’s SO important you left the clip in talking about needing purpose. That you can only find fulfillment in beautiful scenery for so long and that you need a way to feel like a part of society. I think so many of us don’t realize this part of things!
I wish she would just answer this question. Yet it is her business. Obviously he is not going to be a part of this anymore. She spends a lot of time with friends.
I love that you were giving advice to your friend about van life and purpose. When you simplify living, creation is really the beginning of life. Thank you for providing inspiration!!
Same, just been so blissfully happy with anything Hannah puts together cause she could make any site pretty and fun. It’s great to see she enjoys her time in the van still when she gets the chance ‘cause off-grid homesteading is a lot of work.
I so much enjoyed seeing Walter again, and the whole buckling up the mouse cage was sooooo cute. Omg so much fun, I haven't been to a drive in movie in years. Thank you so much for the outing in Walter.
Totally feel you on needing a change in pace - think so many people are feeling that right now. I make RUclips videos in a similar spirit as yours (although I'm new to it) and I'm in the middle of packing up my entire life and getting ready to live on the road/slow travel... what you said about "needing to wander to learn how to just be"...wow, burst into tears hearing that because it honestly spoke to the heart of a lot of what I'm feeling right now. Facing so much unknowns... but knowing that there is space and purpose in wandering felt so validating. Thank you for that kindred spirit friend. Also. Despereaux 👏 on 👏a 👏 road trip 👏 omg... I can't. Thank you for sharing your stories with us!
I'm an old girl and the drive-in brought back such fond memories. Every Saturday night we'd load up because you paid by the carload and head to the drive-in. Back then they had a speaker that you would clip onto the window/door. And, often as not it would be after a day of floating the river. What a nice day.
Glad you chose to take Walter out for a road trip. First night with only mouse and mosquitoes for companionship. Pretty campsite. Bronco testing went well. Could name him "Slim"if he's a keeper.👍 Then you're river rafting with your other friend. Very cool. Fun looking drive-in theater. Brings back memories of a lifetime ago. Anticipating your next submission. Stay well.
I also "camp" the same way that you do on my friends ranch. The best place to "camp" is near her parents because I get a lake and give her mom an excuse to bake. Im in Oregon and you would absolutely love it. I see so many similarities in our shenanigans and lifestyle!
My girlfriend asked what I was watching and without missing a beat I explained just how amazing, brave, creative, funky (dancing and singing) strong and courageous you are. I was excited to show her how you just made a deck on the side of your house. 😜 I’ve been watching your videos for over two years and you have inspired me, I adore your style ( I love your Land Rover and your van and now the bronco! your house designs full of plants. Can I rave about you, yes! You are such a beautiful soul and I thank you for sharing all of your life with us. Always wishing you the best in life, you and your little mouse. ❤️
I can't wait to make new friends like you guys , I left CA and all my old friends to start a new and I learned I never had the right type of friends that I can relate to and feel like I'm living
I am so glad to see you with Walter on a trip! And with your sweet mouse and good friends. Ur food looks yummi. Thank you for sharing ur adventure..Love from Bali.
Thanks Hannah, you are such a lovely human. Happy to see you taking a break from all the work. I love how in the same conversation you share you need to have purpose and you need to be o.k. with doing nothing, yes so true, both are important....and it was cute to see Despereaux enjoy the little hammock you made
Glad to see you back but I sense a look of sadness in your eyes. The sparkle has dimmed. Hang in there, be smart out there alone while dealing with whatever you're dealing with, be good to yourself, and reach out to your loved ones.
hannah!! have you ever thought about raising monarch butterflies??!! I’ve been doing it for 3 years now, and it’s so beautiful and interesting to watch! It seems like something you’d love to do. I saw milkweed in the clip of you eating the wild berries and it prompted me to bring this up lol😂
1:50 HAHAHAHAHAA.... YOU SNEEK !!!! THAT'S YOUR NEW HOUSE.... HAHAHAHAHAHA.... "I KNOW THE OWNER, THEY ARENT HOME RIGHT NOW"..... HAHAHAHA, YOU CRACK ME UP GIRL !!!
Walking those old creeks really is amazing. I did it as a kid, building clubhouses with dirt floors, rope swings across the creeks, tree houses. We don't realize how wonderful something like that is until it's gone. That area is now new construction homes. Ah well, looking for a new place with a creek across the property. P.S. a friend who lives in the country here walks those creeks around them. Lots of old Indian arrowheads after storms in that creek bed. Our area was well known for a huge Indian population. Less than a mile from me had a property called Buffalo Park. I know the original owners of the total homestead. It was given to them in the old old days because it was thought of as worthless because the Buffalo had stomped the ground over years and years to where it was almost like concrete. It was very difficult to turn into farm fields to plant. Anyway, the serenity of camping where you are is pretty amazing. Happy you get to enjoy it. P.S. love the Bronco. I have a 1976 Ford F150 shortbed 4x4 called Tank. lol
The fact that you brought Despereaux with you :( as someone who used to own rats and loves small animals, I love that you care about your little baby so much!
Van camping is so comfortable in this weather that there is no harsh sun. At this moment, if I were Hannah, I could enjoy this camping as much as she did. Watching this video makes me want to go camping right away.
Oh the memories you brought back with the visit to the drive in theater. That used to be an all night thing. Watch movies until dawn. I imagine you didn’t get in for $1 each though. Those were very happy days. It’s great to see you enjoying it also.
I love to see you in your van, it looks like you’re relaxed and you’ve missed it. ❤️Sometimes I think maybe one day I will stop travelling full time and settle down in a cabin in the woods. Until then, I’ll keep exploring the world. I wish you a wonderful day 👋
Been renovating my Vanlife Van. Motivated by Hannah's work ethic. New engine mounts (so important, my V8 sounds brand new, now). Never sounded better. And removed the drive belt, removed & opened up both sides the bearing on the squeeking tensioner pulley (exacto knife to pull off the rings on the sides of the bearing - donut shaped things around bolt hole). It was dried out inside, and full of caked dust. Sprayed WD - 40 with red straw tube on end of aerosol tip into both sides until bearings were pristine. Then packed both sides good & tight with bearing grease (can of it at O'Reilly/AutoZone). Did this to my Idler Pulley, too since I was taking the Serpentine Belt off. Then snapped the rings back on each, and they work like new for another 2+ decades. Squeeking gone! Could have wasted $20 - 50 on a whole new pulley times two. The pulleys themselves never break. Just clean/repack the bearings (around center radius bolt hole, like a skateboarder would) or just order the right diameter/width - new ones and save money from greedy retailers. Plenty of those around these days.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had almost forgotten how much I love your Walter road trips! Even if they're only day trips, or around town. You always make them fun excursions! I really hope you do more (I'm not saying I don't enjoy the cottage videos, it's just that the road trips satisfy my soul)
I'd love to see a video of you talking about how you ended up living in a cabin, what made you want to do that but also the more technical, less romantic, side of it. Like how do you make money beside youtube (if anything) and how it is to live alone so far from a town
Just can’t wait to see your next video come out ; I’m constantly checking to see if it is up or not then I get frustrated when it ends because then I know I have to it’ wait again , so enjoyable to watch I’m all the way in Australia
I replayed 13:22 enough times to be considered disrespectful.😂🤣 Lol, Hannah you are a real one... You don't cut out parts of your videos that others would probably not think twice about removing. My perception of you is that you truly do what you wish with your life. You take control and both submit to each moment and I am ever grateful both that you created this channel, and that I found you. You inspired me to get up and go outside today. Thank you. Much love to you.💕
Wow, didn’t realize how much I missed Walter ‘til we were back in him! You’re a gem girl, keep up the great work and thanks for including us. Now, what are we going to call the new Bronco? Cheers from Eastern Canada! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
You are so amazing. I've watched a few of your vids and I love your "can-do" spirit. You see a problem or the need to change or fix something and you get it done. Very inspirational.
Holy Moly!!! My first car was a 1981 Bronco XLT 4X4, it was brown so I called her Brownie. This totally brings back memories. Mine had an interior roll bar inside (cuz we could take off the back top/hood area which was cool in the summer but was a total pain in the ass) . I can't remember how many people hit their heads on that roll bar! LOL Congrats on the new ride!!!
I'm so happy that you kept one and now you have a small pet available small pet try to keep it healthy it's like if you can as possible thank you so much for taking care of one and only one now it's so cute it's so adorable Hannah you're lucky you're lucky very lucky understand that good luck with him or her
I just thought I would tell you that I really enjoy your videos I watch them on my big screen TV it's amazing how you do everything by yourself on the road I love your van I love the plants you have inside I have lots of plants in my house
OMG im literally so happy for this video, I got to know you thru your van videos and it just made me feel so 'nostalgic'. Also, you always make us feel like we're there with you and its hella fun!! love ya Hannah xx
Love how you love ur mouse, love Walter and your advice to travel sometimes 'aimlessly". I did that for almost a year...most of the time didn't even use a map and traveled the country in my van a lot like yours (a chevy step van) before you tube existed. It was one of the best things and best times of my life. I left a professional position and just hit the road , to see what it would be like to have no plans, no schedules and just get to know myself. Your light hearted way of being and doing is a treasure to me and reminds me of those days and what life could be like if we could and would lighten up and as we do that it definitely lightens up our world.
I love your new Bronco! That really got my juices flowing seeing that beauty! I hope it has four wheel drive and air conditioning for future adventures. Your friends are really cute too so i am a little excited!
I enjoyed the van life video in between the cabin content, good idea. I actually started my nature & travel videos (and added some philosophical/spiritual flavor to it) because of you and I am still watching all of your videos :) staying inspired - Arthur
Fun times with special friends. Love the big Red. Can’t wait to see it fitted out. Dang long time since I have been to a drive in, I’ll be 80 next year. Grew up with one in Pleasant Hill, CA
Hannah you are a golden thing. I loved that song when I first heard it on your channel and I still do. It always reminds me of you and it helps to freshen my perspective when I hear it.
I love the Pith Helmets. I slept on the backseat of a Bronco like that once in 1989. We went camping. And I didn't like the little tent they brought. So, the Bronco was my home for the night.
Yeah, it’s high time I just subscribe to your channel. After a few weeks of being in my recommended plus watching them immediately, I start to look if you’ve posted something new. Your lifestyle is so different from mine, but I’d love a quiet cottage in the woods. 😄
You're the reason I bought a white cargo van! Had it for 2 years and it died died. I'm now converting a short bus!! Thanks for sharing your life! Inspirational!

My hen Barbara is like that. I don't go on road trips because I'm a mom and broke, but I take her to the drive thrus and stuff and she's a sweet pal.

Not to worry as they are developing an HLD patch for your affliction. 😝 😜 🤪

I missed seeing Despereaux in the last video. So cool to her her traveling with her momma Hannah.
Yes we love the van life content miss seeing Walter 😍😍😇😇
Hi Hannah. You'll love your Silver Anniversary 8th generation Bricknose Bronco. I'd love to see a video of you talking about how you ended up living in a cabin, what made you want to do that but also the more technical, less romantic, side of it. Like how do you make money beside youtube (if anything) and how it is to live alone so far from a town
Just can’t wait to see your next video come out ;
I’m constantly checking to see if it is up or not then I get frustrated when it ends because then I know I have to it’ wait again , so enjoyable to watch I’m all the way in Australia
Thank you. Much love to you.💕
Awww. I used to go this drive in quite a bit. Good memories.
Looks like a super fun time with good friends and a mouse.
Wow, didn’t realize how much I missed Walter ‘til we were back in him! You’re a gem girl, keep up the great work and thanks for including us.
Now, what are we going to call the new Bronco?
Cheers from Eastern Canada!
🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
i was so worried about mousey girl!!! omg happy to see she’s livin her best life
Loved seeing your time away in Walter, living your best life!
this video has so many levels of good enterteinament... that is why you are my favorite youtuber 💖
You are so amazing. I've watched a few of your vids and I love your "can-do" spirit. You see a problem or the need to change or fix something and you get it done. Very inspirational.
love that little mousey! where's matt these days i wonder? haven't seen him around in awhile...
seems like they've parted ways...
I think he works a full-time job?
I was thinking the same thing.
Nice Bronco! Had one very similar years ago. The hardtop is actually fairly easy to remove which is really cool 😎
Who the hell takes their pet mouse on a road trip!!! 🤣 love it! I too miss trips away with Walter.
Awwww cute hannah !!!! road trip with walter and the mice how awesome enjoy guys lots luv xxxxx🐭🐀🐀🐀🐁🐰🐹🥳🐾🚐🚐🚐💟💟💟

I just thought I would tell you that I really enjoy your videos I watch them on my big screen TV it's amazing how you do everything by yourself on the road I love your van I love the plants you have inside I have lots of plants in my house
You brought her camping? Haha so cute! I bring my ferret backpacking, but it looks like you one up'd me
So happy to see Despereaux again 🥰
OMG im literally so happy for this video, I got to know you thru your van videos and it just made me feel so 'nostalgic'. Also, you always make us feel like we're there with you and its hella fun!! love ya Hannah xx
I love your little mouse! She gets to travel, too
Love how you love ur mouse, love Walter and your advice to travel sometimes 'aimlessly".
So happy to see mousy is doing great 🥰. The perfect, easy going, companion. Making me miss my mouse, squeeky, I had years ago……….
I love your new Bronco! That really got my juices flowing seeing that beauty! I hope it has four wheel drive and air conditioning for future adventures. Your friends are really cute too so i am a little excited!
Missed you in Walter. Love watching your adventures. Sunday's are more fun with Hannah!!!😃
I enjoyed the van life video in between the cabin content, good idea. I actually started my nature & travel videos (and added some philosophical/spiritual flavor to it) because of you and I am still watching all of your videos :) staying inspired - Arthur
Beautiful Desperado. She's very sweet.
Hannah, Walter has such a cool vibe. I love the interior. 😍
videos full of enchantment, and inspiration. TFS 🥰
So happy to see a new video.
Hannah you are the best.
Thank u.
From Canada 🇨🇦❤
I love how you're so adventurous. Love you're videos!!
Fun times with special friends. Love the big Red. Can’t wait to see it fitted out. Dang long time since I have been to a drive in, I’ll be 80 next year. Grew up with one in Pleasant Hill, CA
What great fun you've had. I love that you love your mouse so much. You are so green fingered, your plants always look so healthy xx
Hannah you are a golden thing. I loved that song when I first heard it on your channel and I still do. It always reminds me of you and it helps to freshen my perspective when I hear it.
Those are British Boer War style helmets. They wore those fighting the Dutch over S. Africa.
I simply love how you care for the environment, God bless you !
Despero's reaction from riding on the bumpy road "EARTHQUAKE!!!" OH wait I'm fine. Just momma taking me for an adventure 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
We love the Stardust drive in. It's been a family favorite for years!
Drive-In's, do they STILL exist? What a fun idea!!
I love everything that you do Hannah.... But especially a Van trip..... Great video I was smiling all the way through..... :-))) xxxxx
You're the reason I bought a white cargo van! Had it for 2 years and it died died. I'm now converting a short bus!! Thanks for sharing your life! Inspirational!
