If you are referring to the rgbw white controller, i know some people are using smart phones with a rgbw app. I heard some mixed reviews which is why I didn't go that route.
Great video well documented. Sorry to post my question here but I curious about your OEM Turn Signal Mirrors on a Dodge Charger Preview video and the comments are not available. Have you planned to make a more documented video about that mod ? What did you do to get those signals working ? Did you just use the harness in place or did you have to add wires ? Does this mod require to change some pararmeters in ECU ou other calculator ? Thanks
Yes I can make a more documented video. I ran the power and ground wire from the turn signal light directly to the driver and passenger headlight harness to the turnsignal wire. Hope this answers your question but I can make a follow up video probably tomorrow.
If it's a new install, your power or ground wire may not have a good connection. If this was a previous install, then the driver that connects to the rgbw lights may need to be replaced.
Actually no. The dodge charger mirror already has the same configuration as the chrysler all you have to do is buy the plastic outer cover and oem chrisler turn signal lights. The screw holes for the lights already lights up with 2015 -2021 charger mirrors.
You will have to run a ground wire and positive wire to the front left and right turn signal. That's what takes the most te running the wire through the door amd original wiring harness
I did this but when I remote start my car with the lights on automatic the running lights don’t come on and they also don’t come on with my headlights like they did before.
I would verify with a wire probe. The colors can look identical due to the heat under the hood. Pink stripes can look like red stripes. I've screwed that up too many times to count. The setup works when you have the correct wires.
Bro I was told I could tap into parking and drls in the same harness ? So like right side harness for both. What u think ? I know you said use left and right harness
Yeah you could do that and it would work. I did my this way so I could troubleshoot easier. Example one of the drivers go bad, I know exactly which on to replace. But absolutely that would work.
CustomTrucks last question bro when testing the parking and drl cables on which one to tap what the best way to do it ? Use the keyfob or the headlight switch ?
@@Futbol90x I would not use the fob. You also need to make sure you are going to be tapping into the correct color wire. I used like a $6 wire probe with a internal light that lights up.
@@Futbol90x first tap the wire you belive to be the park lights with the switch on and it will light up the wire tool. Once it lights up turn off the parking lights and the wire tool will not be lit. That confirms you have the correct wire.
It took me about almost 5 hrs. It depends on if you want to be neat with your wiring. What takes the longest is the headlight separation and gluing them back together.
@@anthonymccall8141 I just used a heat gun. Them lights are a bitch to get off as they are intended to not come a !part. Some like the oven because it soften the entire housing up. I didn't want to do that because if the entire thing is soft it can deform or if too much pressure is applied to one area it can be un repairable. Hope that answers your question.
alejandro rivera no all you have to do is either expose enough of the wire you want to connect to and wrap the exposed diode wire to the that. I used a razor blade to expose the headlight wires I needed.
@@CDGProductionsFans can i just cut the wire which goes into the plug and connect it into one of the red wires? I am so confused about the wiring stuff. I appreciate the video. This helps me out alot. Do you need the controller or can it work without the controller?

Hello. Im looking for information about the chrysler 300 side mirror with signal light for the dodge charger
What information are you looking for?
Thanks
How did you put the Chrysler 300 side mirror with signal light on the Dodge Charger?
Did you have to custom them to fit the Dodge Charger or What year its the Chrysler 300?

How did you connect it using electrical tape ?
I'm not sure I understand your question. Electrical tape is only the insulation so that the twisted wires aren't exposed.
CustomTrucks so basically you slice into the existing wire and connect the diode to it with electrical tape ?
What’s your Instagram so I can send you a picture of what I’m talking about ?
@@baker4767 yep. That's it as a insulator or you can use the heat shrink tape.

Sounds like you are not tapping into the correct drl power wires. Did you test the wires with a wire probe?

Do the headlight modules hold the memory of the selected color when you turn the car on and off? Looking to go this route if so!
Yes, whatever color you select is the color that will stay until you change it.
