Building the Body for a Large Victorian Carousel Rocking Horse.

This is the fourth video in a series explaining how a large Victorian Carousel Rocking Horse is created. We focus on attaching our carved head to the upper body block, then we'll finish gluing that to the body. We're close to carving the body at that point. These horses are built the exact same way a carousel horse is made so if your a fan of Carousel horses or horses in general, you'll love this channel and video series. From beginning to end, I'll show you the process involved to create these family heirlooms. You can follow along and watch as I build and then start woodcarving by hand this large horse. After the carving is complete, we'll setup in the paint-booth to begin the painting process. I'll even share with you some airbrush techniques. Then we'll add the saddle, bridle, mane and tail to complete it. These videos and not an in depth tutorial but more for entertainment. I'll be happy to produce a more in-depth series if asked. Hi Carol,
Thank you! I’ve been wanting to start a channel showing what I do at the shop for a few years now and decided that this year was the year to do just that. So this is absolutely band new and I’m just getting started. Show 5 will post this Monday and I’m currently editing show 6,7,8.
