Solidly mount to the studs in the wall a paddock. Stand, a lexan piece thick enough to not flex that's bolted to the wall supporting the bottom. Of the bike, wide enough to support the bike should the stands fail.
I like how it’s the perfect hight for your head to catch the corners and a dark colour so it’s even harder to see in low light. But even with all my sarcasm it doesn’t look too bad👍🏻
And it will smell bad as well. Not a good idea to bake it in sunlight either...but it is a bother to take all the pads everytime you gone back to your place just to dry it up!
Thank you for this video. It really cracked me up watching you use tools. I’m just going to keep watching all of your videos with those perfect commentaries. Well done!
Jigsaws are great for curves but terrible for what you're doing in this video. A circular saw would be much better suited. This isnt me trashing your skills or knowledge. I only know what I know from years of mentoring and experience gained from working with some really excellent craftsmen. Even with the issues you ran into, that shelf came out looking awesome. Everything looks like an intentional decision
You used one guide to cut straight lines with the handsaw, but I think if you use 2 guides, on on each side of the wood, one guide higher than the other, you would be able to cut straight angles.... Add an adapted coat hook to the underside of the bracket and you can hang a jacket or liner in front of the back pack. (My neglected vaccuum cleaner makes a great helmet stand. Parked near an outlet, i use a magnetic charger cable to recharge my sena.
Very cool. I always wondered where you got it whenever I saw it in your videos. Now I know it's even cooler than I thought cause it's handmade by its owner.
Use a straight edge (a long ruler or another piece of wood) as a guide for your jigsaw to cut long straight lines. The edge of the shoe rides along your guide. Just measure the distance from the blade to your outer edge of the shoe befire clamping down your guide that far away from the target line.
If you move it to the right just a little and place 2 extra pistons on each side you could also hang you motor jacket and protective pants on it! (which I just know you use as a responsible motorcycle driver! 😏) Nice project!
Been wanting a helmet rack. Now I know what to do with my old 650 thumper pistons. I have 4 helmets so I'll just build a vertical helmet rack for all four. Now what to do for my 3 riding jackets?
Awesome idea! Well done on the build, looks great! LOL! I thought I was the only oke in the world with one of those old Falcon Driver sets! BEST DRIVER SET EVER! And even better, is that it works perfectly with the little cordless driver you had there... I have had a little Bosch IXO for many years.. Never lets me down. LOL! The number inside that Falcon set now goes through to a Doctors rooms..... I'm guessing in case you stab yourself with the screwdriver... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Stay safe and stay awesome!
This is nice looking, but you're better off keeping the helmet on a drying rack instead. I've got one that I put my boots and helmet on. In the winter, it's nice to start the ride out with a warm helmet, but it also reduces the amount of mold and bacteria that grow. Even after several years, the helmet smells reasonably good.
Hey guy i know this was like 2 years ago and im sure its been doing yo well ,it look great by the way .i saw one just like tis design the only difference it would appear is they used a hinge to connect at the top ..oh and for your next wood project .sometimes its easier to paint or stain the pieces before you assemble them..lol
Pretty neat project. I have a few questions: 1. 17 days?!?!? Did I hear that right? 2. Why did you not sand and stain before assembly? 3. Any plans for expansion? Maybe another piston hook for your riding jacket? Would that make it too cluttered looking? 4. No key hook?
Would appreciate a motorcycle wall holder next
I’ll start brainstorming lol
Might have to design a new wall first lol. Would b good to see though 😂
Solidly mount to the studs in the wall a paddock. Stand, a lexan piece thick enough to not flex that's bolted to the wall supporting the bottom. Of the bike, wide enough to support the bike should the stands fail.
Did you not sink that screw in all the way for a key ring holder?
some ikea commando hooks should work fine
I love that one screw is not flushed in like the other. Makes me feel like I have a chance to build something like this.
lol ya i noticed that as well perhaps got tired turning the crank on that angled screwdriver ..
This channel is so underrated !
Only some days!
My thoughts exactly, I rather prefer 5 more channels like this one, than 50.000 more RJ's, trust me, and don't get me wrong, I love the man.
@@ChaosCauses yea 💪
Ikr
Your honesty is refreshing and humorous.
Only one thing missing on your wall stand the standard CC decals 👌
Haha very true, I’m sure there’ll be one soon!
This project is fantastic. Got me thinking even I can make one. For my helmet and riding suit. Thanks
Vijay Chauhan howd it go?
That helmet stand looks way better then the one I bought on Amazon
wow, it looks amazing! Do you have the measurements for us? Lengths of the woods etc :)
Nice design. Im gonna make one after seeing this. I have all the tools and wood just never thought of it
How did it turn out?
Mix some of the sawdust with the ova glue, instant hole filler. Sack in hole when set sand flush. ;)
Now thats what you call a perfect edition to a biker's life and his gears!!
I like how it’s the perfect hight for your head to catch the corners and a dark colour so it’s even harder to see in low light. But even with all my sarcasm it doesn’t look too bad👍🏻
Looks great mate.
Good idea keeping it out in the open, I never put my helmet away or store it in its bag - sweat kills the innards to fast.
And it will smell bad as well. Not a good idea to bake it in sunlight either...but it is a bother to take all the pads everytime you gone back to your place just to dry it up!
the glove compartment part... absolute bonus, brilliant
Thank you for this video. It really cracked me up watching you use tools. I’m just going to keep watching all of your videos with those perfect commentaries. Well done!
the humor in this is awesome!

Agreed! This channel is informative and entertaining. This is a brilliant and simple project that you've given us, in that it is brilliantly simple!
i just loved your idea simple but brilliant very crisp i would say
This is honestly super dope. Great job
Nice work buddy. Got my vote 😁😇😎
Indeed one of the best DIY video for a helmet stand..i didn't even know anything like that existed. Good job
A really good idea. Simple and effective. Thanks
Do you happen to have the measurements for this i am attempting to build one as well
That's awesome! Your sense of humour makes your channel even more enjoyable. I also appreciate your creativity.
Man proud of you... love your creativity.
Nice use of that piston, cool idea!
6:50 I can see a screw not being flush and it's giving me anxiety.
Love the video man!
A little bit of classy silver colour coat on the piston head would make it look nostalgic
Great work! Would love to see a jacket+helmet hanger as well..
Love from Singapore 😊
Awesome idea mate, I'm making one as soon as I fly home from work!!
Really good DIY project and exactly the idea i am looking for my helmets etc. Thanks for the video.
you did well, editing was spot on and funny comments too, subscribed !
Very good idea. I build 2 helmet wall stand today, I love it. Thanks for all your video. See you ✌🏻️🇫🇷
That is dope. Wish I had the creativity to build something like this. 👍🏼
That is such a cool design, awesome work.
WELL DONE MAN!! Legit.
Your bike is so nice :). Your channel needs more attention, awesome work!
We need more people to see this so good👍👍
Always a good ideea to leave your riding gear in well ventilated places to dry out the moisture 👍✌
I saw this in another of your videos and thought "I need one". I'm glad I found this coz.. I NEED ONE

Very well documented video and of course an awesome helmet stand.
I have shared this video to my MotoVlogger Friends.
One day, you'll be in million subscribers.
Great content as always..

Coolest diy i ever saw
Even using power tools I have a hard time with angles. Love the video.
Wow, i'll do this on my room soon!
Very cool. I always wondered where you got it whenever I saw it in your videos. Now I know it's even cooler than I thought cause it's handmade by its owner.

Looks awesome. Now I want one!
You need a better jigsaw :P with three orbital settings and a straight line (up & down) setting.. You will love it!
wow looks great. do you have the lenghts and corner degrees of the mount. would make it easier to copy
I've got some scrap wood sitting around. I'm gonna try this out! I also hate that type of saw, the blade always walks all over for me!
Poor PC got the whole dust from the drill :D
I like your ideas of "gearing up the rooms with motorcycle parts"
Add some hooks to the underneath plank to hang ur ride apparels & keys too!
Thank for giving me an idea to make a place for my helmet😁😁😁😘👍👍👍
Bro that looks sick! I actually a tall bay next to my computer desk and my lid sits on top!
Soon you'll get to a million subs ,nice vid btw
Nice job! Looks great!
So jacket gets stashed on back of chair?
Wtf this is the best channel on RUclips it's underrated keep those good videos❤️❤️
I love how unashameably half assed this is
Dope build. Love the humor. Subbing for the awesome aspect ratio of the video
Looks good and your honest lol but a circular saw a impact drill and maybe a small orbital sander should be on your shopping list
Next time your out off wood filler you can mix the shaw dust from the cutting and wood glue to make a filler for the screws
I want to make one now.. great idea, brilliant work mate 👌
for not much of a carpenter you done a nice job on the bike hanger.
You can use a bar clamp or clamp a piece of wood as a guide for your jig saw also...
Love it! Great innovative thinking...handsaw and jigsaw...lol, you need a circular saw. Looks GREAT, great job.
Loved it... Great Sence of humor. Felt so related, jajajaja. Lol. Thank you, made my night.
Put some led strip lighting beneath the helmet stand, it will be a nice mood lamp in the night
It's ironic that your piston got involved to hang your Backpack, but it's really nice concept that you ended up like that.. thumbs up..
Brilliant, funny and honest too. Subbed
Very creative!
If you move it to the right just a little and place 2 extra pistons on each side you could also hang you motor jacket and protective pants on it! (which I just know you use as a responsible motorcycle driver! 😏)
Nice project!
Goddam it, this creation is perfect!
So awesome. And really funny. Don't have a circular or table saw, but you have a drill press? Totally going to make one this weekend.
Nice about that piston you use there 👌🏽👌🏽
That is so cool I am actually thinking about creating it
Maaaan! Just amazing work 🤯😮👍
“I put my manly gloves on cause my hands are sensitive” 🤣 love your videos what to make all of these stands when I have time
Been wanting a helmet rack. Now I know what to do with my old 650 thumper pistons. I have 4 helmets so I'll just build a vertical helmet rack for all four. Now what to do for my 3 riding jackets?
Great proyect, im gonna take inspiration from this and do my own. Thanks👍☺
This is brilliant
What a nice little projekt :) very good.
Perhaps stick a velcro pads for the gloves?
Muuy buen trabajo!! Genial idea!!
Awesome idea! Well done on the build, looks great!
LOL! I thought I was the only oke in the world with one of those old Falcon Driver sets!

Hahah I’ve never seen the doctor number 😂 but they’re the best drivers!
This is nice looking, but you're better off keeping the helmet on a drying rack instead. I've got one that I put my boots and helmet on. Here, take my money! $ I want it! 😁
Great idea, CC. Looks real neat 👍 Do an R1 wall mount next 🤣
Should have added and littlehook attachment on it so you can hang ya bike jacket on look nice tho good man :) 100% 👍
Dude, you're hilarious. I was chuckling to myself the whole video :) Well done m8!

Suuuch a good idea. I'll definitely try it!
Very cool - thanks. 🤙

1. r/woooooosh
2. Wood glue wont hold well.
