Some strongmen have tore the tendon off the bone. I have done it before not flipping a tire and I was not a happy camper. Strongman Alexander Bromley tore his bicep and refuses to flip tires anymore, he will even skip the event in competition. Thank you Mr. Hooper for the training. Always beat of luck in comps.

@@martinnilsson5295, for most people it’s more intuitive to just bicep curl that thing off the ground. That way stuff like that can happen.

Simple for me: don't. Not worth the risk.
If you do it right, there is no problem, i am flipping tyres for a while now, starting with 250kg and now a tyre about 320kg, no problems,injuries, and no bicep miserie, just good tech....
