I question the strategy of sitting someone down because of “foul trouble”; early in the game maybe, but people act as if it’s a requirement to take someone out of the game. IU basically took Jackson Davis out of the entire game because he might foul out. What’s the difference? He didn’t play.
Well they took him out that long because we were playing so well without him. Had we struggled without him (as we usually do) Woody probably would’ve played that differently
in ALL honesty i pretty much really really HATE iu and purdue's basketball teams and my favorite male athletes/jocks ever are #1 TIED wilt chamberlain and bill russell #2 kareem abdul-jabbar and #3 hakeem olajuwon
I mean Purdue struggled against IL even when they best player went out early in foul trouble. That should say a lot about that Purdue. Hella overrated.
It's not in these clips but both team's star players were having trouble this game. Ivey was out for a good chunk of the first half after a flagrant and TJD got two fouls in the first few minutes and then picked up 3 and 4 within seconds each time they tried to put him back in. He only came back to really make an impact with about 2 minutes left.
@@carterdills169 what impact did he make playing the last 2 minutes of the game? I think he made a bigger impact sitting on the bench. IU has played better everytime he sits the bench. And the bench is where he should stay, hes not as good as hes madd out to be.
I'm from Omaha and now live in Lafayette. The news was bragging up purdue before the game. They brought up beating Nebraska recently over and over again. Purdue is so over rated and over ranked this year. Next time they play the Huskers they will lose and eat their words.
Did you idiots condemning Purdue ever play a basketball game. There are 1000 challenges a second on a game . EVERY shot doesn't go in. These are young boys doing a man's job. I played on many championship teams I never won a game by myself. One mistake by one teammate can cost you the game. Sometimes a small mistake cost your memory of success . Never forget we are just kids playing a game.
Not sure what the other reply is going on about but yeah Hoosier basketball is something we take religiously. And when you haven't won against your biggest in state rival in over 5 years, yeah the students got really hyped. Not to mention we took down rank 4, made the victory even sweeter.
@@eriklakeland3857 you must be young. I remember the IU fans storming the court after a last second shot from Jay Edwards. IU was in first place in the big ten at the time and only two years after their national championship.
First time I've seen Ivey play. Sensational talent. Purdue looks good despite the loss, good luck this year Boilers. Go Hoosiers!
Great game Big win! Go IU
Undefeated and No.1 in country a month ago and now quickly working their way toward the bottom of the Big 10, way to go Boliers!
Noone said it would be easy! Especially if your a big 10 team
Boo hiss
This didn't age well lol
Mike Woodson owns Purdue
Great game IU. Finally beat them! Sheesh
Love it
Go Purdue

Also, he got his hip hurt recently. Coach may have just wanted to make sure he got the best recovery he could.
There should NOT be any “foul outs”. Ridiculous, nonsense, perverted rule.
Call technicals after 4 fouls.
Sayin.
And see how good we played without him and Johnson. They should ait the bench more often.
it's nice to meet you and if your on the bench then your 100% FULLY guaranteed NOT to get a foul and please read my comment
It was narrow to say the least PURDUE

Overrated is starting to show. Purdue should be about 17. They just lost any chance at a #1, 2 or 3 seed.

Nebraska is 0-8 in Big Ten play so I doubt it
I’m an indiana fan but that’s dumb
Did Indiana **really** just storm the floor? Holy damn 🙄
