had a strange idea in mind so i made this remix!! plus this song itself is a massive throwback for me so i really enjoyed making it! i'm still learning on mixing and sound design so some parts may sound a bit off but i hope you guys like this one :)

It's the end of Headspace. The world created to lock away the guilt Sunny had deep in his subconscious. Mari wouldn't want him to blame himself.

It's true. Mari will always be with Sunny but not as something looming over his shoulder. But as a beautiful memory and a driving force to push Sunny forward to live a full life.
Wonderfully done Carrot! Seems to me like you can't get away from the song OMORI. I can't blame you it's such an unforgettable song.

I think the second one is more so a farewell to the headspace as it was, along with black/white space, since with the way Mr. Outback talks, it seems like Headspace is an everpresent thing...

Hello, another person who was also living in their head.
To answer your question, it was comforting, you had everything you wanted, the friends you probably never had always alongside with you, in a world that perfectly fit what you loved in your well expanded imagination. It's a place to escape when you're at your worst, to be at your best. You're loved in your imagination, regardless of If you are or aren't in reality.
However I regret making my escape from the world, and desperately want to go back, but the voices in my head keep telling me to end myself, that once I do, I will be able to live only in my head, without ever having to go back to reality.

So theres other people like me, huh. I always thought it was some weird mantal disorder or something like that. I guess i am, but im trying to break free, and accept fate that've been destined.
But i realised that imagining friends inside my head is weird, and i even tried to get it into my dreams. Unfortunately, it didnt get too far, and i ended up... Trying to get over it.
Oh lordy, 'tis carrot time.
So we start out with A Home for Flowers and White Space. Soon enough at 1:45 it's followed up by the iconic text from Goodbye to a World following. The absolute clash going from buildup to just vocal(oid)s and piano can be a powerful effect, which in this song I'd say is surely the case.
After adding strings and a bit of a build, we go right back up in volume at 2:45, with more White Space being added to the melody.
Then at 3:45 (you sure like your 1 minute intervals lmao) you bring in OMORI, because you needed more amazing motifs and wow, did it work out.
Visually, the gradual darkening of the sky in the background is a fairly simple effect, but it sure has an impact.
The whole angelic Mari angle combined with Goodbye to a World really makes the song lean in to the whole "moving on" aspect you'd expect from Omori. Interpreting it a a final message from a sister to a brother gives me The Sad.
All in all a very good EDM mix. If there's anything I'd say this song misses it's the lack of Mari-related leitmotifs, like By Your Side, to make the song lean a bit more towards her, but it's definitely an amazing listen regardless.

Also, may I say the OMORI part sounds like their remix, "OMORI [Guilty version]"
The main motif of By Your Side can be heard at 4:45 (another 1 min interval xD)

Seeing this, never would have thought about Goodbye to A World would fit Omori in a way.
Like a message saying we got to say goodbye to the dreamworld Sunny fabricated to escape from the guilt and trauma from what he experienced, so he can move on into the real world without that guilt holding him back.
But that's just my cents, and carrot never dissappoints with the music. B)
I always thought GTAW (abbreviation to Goodbye to A World because I'm lazy) would fit in Omori, the lyrics always reminded of the message of moving on.
And now that we are giving our own interpretations, I'll give mine about the lyrics:

It sounds like Mari is thanking Sunny for moving on of her, and letting go of headspace. Speaking of which, the "end of the world" would be the end headspace itself and Sunny having all his memories back, that's why she says for Sunny not blame himself.

And that probably refers to the real life itself and Sunny's friends. That Mari, even if she's no present in body, will always look after them somewhere else, and will try to make Sunny perceive the real world as a better place, hence _"i will surround you and give life to a world that's our own."_
That's only my interpretation though.
And nO IM NOT CRYING YOU ARE!

I never would of thought of this game and song together, but it is _perfect._ The themes, the sound, if I didn’t already know about both I could totally be convinced they were made for each other. Genius idea and perfect execution on this, it’s something to be really proud of!

I've always thought Goodbye To a World was so reminiscent of Sunny waking up, leaving headspace, leaving his dreams to accept the real world. This... this is everything I imagined it to be. And it's beautiful, and I got chills multiple times. Stellar work as always :) you're a fantastic artist, both in music and drawing, and it's never not wildly impressive

Porter Robinson x OMORI is somthing elese more entierley, The way you mix it makes me a little feel pain inside but with joyful tears to the touch. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!
How can anything so painful be so wonderful. This hit me emotionally; more than I could ever have anticipated. It expresses the notion of moving on after the good ending of OMORI; about how life can still be beautiful when something horridly ugly happens. The picture of Mari also really sells the vibe. She looks happy and proud, as if she were happy and proud of Sunny finally moving on from the event. Everything about this is beautiful. Nothing can make me change my mind.

this song is the only song I can cry to.... starting with the first part all my emotions build up slowly just like in real life... then they all let go and I bring myself to remember everything thats happening again... it happens again but harder I feel like I'm falling and it builds up and up until the loudest (and my favourite) part of the song where suddenly everything falls into me all my problems and everything I don't have start hurting me.. then it breaks with a sweet calming melody... I feel like I'm home even if its just for a short period until the process repeats. Thank you for this master piece I will forever hold it close to my heart as it is one of the only things that can force me into feeling emotions through a screen :)

Secondly, I have an artist I think you might really enjoy? His stuff is extremely similar to stuff you make, so maybe you’d like him? His name is Crywolf. A couple of my favorites are DDDNNNAAA, Datura, and Windswept. He makes stuff that I find incredibly inspiring and imaginative, and it all kinda has the same energy as the stuff you make? He first came to mind when I listened to that one song for an OC you made (had something to do with wrath, if I remember correctly) because WOW you guys both make awesome stuff, especially when it sounds angry or dark.
