Yes but not like that, I feel empty in the mental, literal sense, I don't feel hurt, sad, angry, confused, just neutral, I don't want to cry but sometimes my eyes will tear up for no reason when I'm not thinking of or doing anything that should cause that. Not really surrounded by people, but still not lonely since I'm used to being alone. Same. I've felt like time has moved without me ever since I was young. I'm the only one that doesnt change. Just the same emptiness all day all year long. It feels like a gaping hole in my heart but there is no reason it's there. It's been there for as long as I can remember. It feels like I shouldn't be here. That I shoulda left the world long ago. Sometimes I feel so empty throughout the day that I only feel anything when I sleep but when I wake back up I immediately feel nothing again and all those feelings was just a dream. You shake it off and do what needs to be done in the day. Edit: this game hit close to home & actually made me feel sadness for the first time in idk how long.

Y’all ever feel like you are experiencing Omori irl? Like, no, im not a Hikikomori, but you feel so mentally unstable and all the little cutscenes of them having a mental breakdown you can just relate to? I love this game so much for that reason, the story is so different from mine, but the confusion and agony in each depressing part of the game just hits me like a bullet. And the soundtrack is just something to cry to. It just hits all my emotional parts, and makes me contemplate my mental state. I just feel so confused and scared, so hearing the eerie sadness of the Omori soundtrack is comforting. And the storyline and the way Omocat depicts depression, trauma, and anxiety just makes me ponder if I really am in a terrible state of mind, but in a way I can come to terms and let out my feelings on a private digital notebook or something. There’s a strange accuracy to the depictions of a bad mental state, and it makes me realize; “Wow, I do need to get help.”
I love all these ones, just because of that reason... + H20: HCL has a special place in my heart because it represent so much things that was happening in the game
before basil knew sunny was moving, he had given sunny his photo album and had said stuff like "we can have fun while it lasts". (not this exactly, as my memory was foggy, but you get the idea) this implies that, basil would have killed himself anyway regardless of sunnys appearance. the fact that only 2 out of 7 endings sunny actually goes outside and prevents basil from killing himself is already treacherous, but then you think of the fact that out of 7 of those endings, 5 of which sunny dies. besides from the fact that you can still save basil and get the bad ending, and still live on hikik route, that practically means that basil would die anyway. its undefined after the truth if he would still do it, however, we can say that 6/7 endings basil would kill himself; especially since, if you do the bad ending, its unlikely basil will share it anyway, meaning, he hasn't truly recovered. this guarantees the fact that he will probably end his life anyway. so, if basil dies, what then? probably mourning of the group. aubrey, after the truth, shed feel probably really mad; maybe too mad to realize the logistics of his death, and, overall be bitchy about how the others reacted so sadly. eventually she'll come to her senses, and then, i feel she'll isolate herself. she wouldnt cry, shed be just empty. hero, being the least attached of the group due to his time off in college where he ultimately doesnt have time to worry about basil, would still be mortified. hed have a simular reaction to aubrey for the first part, but not as long nor as harsh. hed be pissed off and probably say something like "just give us some time. please." and, upon learning about basils death, softly cry. nothing gushing tears, but hed still feel awful; just not in that way. he'd be bedwritten, not like mari, but for atleast a month. i think hed blame himself for not being there when mari died for longer. kel would hit the closest, especially because he had been masking all of his pain for maris death. hed probably freeze up for a few minutes and look at the floor when they told the others the truth. after learning about basils death, hed stop going outside. i think hed be really pale in the moment and just not really process it, even though he really was. i think the hooligains would notice aubrey locking up and, when they go to ask kel and or hero, notice they are too, and feel really bad for how they treated him; or, instead of feeling shame, anger.
Almost every song that sounds in Black Space is just very scary to me and I get a feeling of not controlling what I do, constant fear of not knowing what's going to happen. Hearing one of these songs in a playlist just feels odd
These songs are so powerful...I can barely listen to these without feeling depressed or anxious, or sometimes safe. music composers did a wonderful job. this will always be my fav game, thanks devs.
After a while, one would be able to associate each song in their specific areas. Now...when I listen to these pieces...I feel like I'm actually there, and I think that's what the music composers wanted us to feel.
Whenever I hear the neighbors room music I always expect the distorted version of it and cannot listen to it without getting scared when the distorted part is supposed to come.
considering the fact I played and finished OMORI on the best ending, the feelings itself from listening literally sounds differently. It makes me come back to the game even stronger, it had a huge influence on me. I've never felt so many amount of emotions during the game. Even when I completed the game, some soundtracks still can make me cry cuz' they're connected with my memories and some moments from omori. p.s. thank u for the playlist, it's very calming and now besides other music I can sometimes put this playlist on the background while doing' something.
This is so strangely calming that I went from listening to it to try to fall asleep, to doing homework with it, to relaxing while staring at the wall with it. It's such a cool playlist, I love it!
I already want to die tbh, that's why OMORI helps me so much, it makes me so sad but at this point i don't actually feel sad. At this point it's just like, what actually is the point of trying anymore?
@@Dawled_up I'd have to say the point of trying at this point is simply to stop the collapse of everything around you, and to cling on to a slight bit of hope, what ever out that hope may lead to.
i love how the white space theme on piano you can hear the piano keys clicking back up and idk why but its such a nice sound maybe im just biased because i play piano
@@rubywhistler869 what i meant was usually, in piano music, you cant hear the keys clicking. you can hear the music sound from it, but the sound of the keys loudly clicking back is a nice touch (that is usually only heard with old pianos or if you listen really close to the piano) in a song that is supposed to be sunnys safe space where he can escape to to remember his sister.
@@What-sg7ue that, is unfortunately not a creepypasta, that was a real radio station, one of many radio stations for spies called "Number Stations" back in 1950 and it only ended in 2007. The sound clip in the game is indeed from that radio station, which is called "Swedish Rhapsody"
"!!!Do not listen to this playlist if you have not completed the game yet!!!" this sign is not gonna stop me because i cant read! no but seriously, i love the sound track.
This is one of my favorite games right now. I just can’t stop playing it, but I really wish o played it in a better environment for myself since my house hasn’t been the greatest home to live in. Such a great game that can’t really ever be replicated.
i love numbers so much. it takes my mind off of everything, because all i can focus on is the numbers that are being recited-- intelligible, but hardly. (for me, at least- i know some simple words in german.) it makes me have the need to just pay close attention, recognize everything.
I love this playlist, thank you very much. I remember listening to this music when I was diagnosed with depression two years ago. and I remember listening to these tunes after my friend's death in 2021.. I still miss him and 2019 when it still wasn't that bad
Numbers is def the best one on there. Gives me chills every time. With the talking that you can't make out, perfectly terrifying. Edit: H-Highlighted comment?? Thanks so much!
I'm confused. Why does the girl speak german? Is this a hint to something in the game? (I didn't complete it) [And sorry for my bad english but i hope u will answer me >~
!!Pls read!! :( This game has helped me through so much, so many hard times... it really touched my heart like none ever before, just hearing the songs makes me tear up, it's as if you yourself made memories with everybody. The DW itself made me think of a place from my childhood that i have not been able to reach for about 4 years now, i had so many memories there, so many adventures and to think that now I'm growing older it's all gone. I can never get it back and to think that soon, it will be about 5 years since i was last able to reach my very own DW. It's really depressing actually, with all of my issues in my life, this game is helping me deal with things like it now, all of the bad memories. The fact that even i, as a real existing human being, forced myself to forget good memories because of the bad memories that tagged along. So many dark subjects in the game that i can relate to.. Feeling isolated and trapped, not being able to leave my room, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, topics such as ending your own life.. I know the situation with MARI is different to mine, but I'd like to share it anyway. When i was little (and still now) my father has always blamed the death of my younger sister upon me, so in some sort of way i feel what SUNNY does. I didn't actually kill my sister, but a simple sentence convinced me i had.
@@ambersap1479 for me it is but that’s understandable. I use it to sleep cus the song itself is relaxing but the context and stuff can make it feel upsetting so I get that
I have only had online friends since the 2020 recession, cut abruptly from my IRL school friend group. I'm scared of growing up, scared of having social interactions with real people, scared of getting a job. I'm literally going through my Sunny arc, just gotta wait for my Kel
I feel really empty, I don't think I'm real ... I don't want to go to school, meet my friends, eat, draw, sleep I don't understand, I don't want ANYTHING. I feel like I'm dead. Btw i love omori ost so much
Pretty sure what you’re feeling is the feeling to not want to exist. It’s like you don’t want to die but don’t want to live either. You just don’t want to deal with the world and it’s struggles anymore. I’ve felt this feeling too. You just need a brake from life.
I like listening to them, sure they make me feel more empty but it’s somewhat and strangely soothing. It helps me calm down but it also leaves this feeling of empty sorrow in me I can’t describe.
Words cant describe how much i love this game because i did deal with the same themes when i was younger i was mostly at home with my thoughts after the suicide of my best friend. i remember going through the ps store to find a game to distract myself from what had happened and i came across omori i enjoyed the game from start to finish and blindly got the duet ending i didn't do anything but just sit there and look at the "Thank you for playing" screen not accepting that the game was over. (Sorry if the comment was too long guys)
i wonder why the song ‘numbers’ says the numbers in german. the most repeated sequence is 14578, repeating 7 a lot. i’m sure there’s some sort of significance to these numbers
this is like 5 months old but can you possibly extend the slowed version of white space? yours just sounds so much better than the other slowed versions ^^
I got to watch snip-it’s of a live play through of this game, and it’s such a touching game in a way. The good ending (believe it’s called that) hit hard. I’ve felt isolated for awhile, with covid it got worse and worse. I lost my friends and now I’m moving real far away, but this game reminded me to wait it out. This is just a new beginning, and hopefully it goes well, but it it doesn’t? Make amends and don’t blame myself. It’s scary, but I’m here, still going. It’ll be a new start, and for some time the days will get less dull and boring. There will be things to do, more people to see, and hopefully I can unpack that pain and isolation I’ve slowly packed up. I’m still scared, terrified. I have no idea if I will make friends, and if I go back to school whether I’ll be accepted as a queer person but I have hope. I know I’ve struggled so much in the past, to where I seriously wanted to throw stuff away but I know that I feel better with time. I don’t know what else to say, I feel like I’ll just repeat myself. Something else that made me happy after watching this game though is the fact I never shied from telling my old friends how much I loved and cared about them. At times it felt silly and embarrassing, I was scared they might also take it the wrong way, as in romantically but I don’t think they ever did. I hope more people tell their friends and loved ones that they care about them, I never got those messages much but I know just sending them made me feel happy and full. I hope I can continue that trend with family and with future friends. I think I’ll end my ramble here, but for anyone who may have read this, thank you. Feel free to share your own thoughts if you’d like :)
I felt like coming back to this, for funsies. It’s been about two years since writing that comment, since making that really big and scary move. It was really, really good. Unbelievably scary, and likewise unbelievably beneficial to myself. I’ve made a new routine, I’ve moved again (yes, twice in two years ahaha). I’ve made some friends, coming to terms with some things that I left swept under the carpet for years. Not to say anything is perfect, or ever will be, but god, I’m far happier. I still have a long way to go with making friends and keeping them, but I think I’ve met some really great people. I’m more mature and grounded now, I’m learning how to stand for myself better. Take care of myself. If anyones read this, thank you. I hope you are doing well, and I love you. Perhaps this will just be mine to read in another couple years, though. Who knows! That’s the fun part :-)
im listening to this whiel doing work in my tafe class and my stomach keeps rumbling and i have no food to calm it down oh my god this is so embarrasing
"Numbers", like a numbers station like griffo73 mentioned. I think the german makes it sound even more mysterious/creepy especially if we cant understand it.
Listening to this while fronting is..nice. scary, and it brings back horrible memories, but it's nice. I can't stay in my own headspace forever, and that fact is terrifying. But I have the rest of our headmates to be there with, while I feel so far away from my friends. And I know everything will be okay out here too. /🎻/sunny
Omori is such an interesting game. It starts out seeming like a normal, happy friend group but when you move on in the game you realize so much more. When I found out about Omori I was in a really disappointing stage of my life. I found myself always relating to Basil. In the story of Omori, Basil is an extremely caring person who's passive, kind, but has such an attachment to his friends. The attachment is so strong, so strong that he's willing to fake the death of Mari, all because Sunny was so important to him. He doesn't want to lose anyone else and he's slowly losing it along the game. I felt like this at the time. I was very attached to my friends and when they all decided to leave I got so scared. So desperate. I tried to kill myself because of it. Later on in life, I found a better group of friends, but Basil is still my comfort character.
I will say, This playlist is the one and only reason I got into omori and 2d games completely. I used to play only Minecraft and certain shooting games but, this playlist got me into a whole new perspective. I thank the creator for allowing me to learn a new side of gaming one worth playing.
i love numbers. its creepy yea but i dont get those vibes, its relaxing. and the number message thing isnt scary at all to me, i actually like the way it sounds lmao

Thanks

These songs are so powerful...I can barely listen to these without feeling depressed or anxious, or sometimes safe.
music composers did a wonderful job.
this will always be my fav game, thanks devs.
Title theme is always calming, it's a chunk of Duet so it always makes me feel better.
'do you remember?' is like a knife into my heart
This is so strangely calming that I went from listening to it to try to fall asleep, to doing homework with it, to relaxing while staring at the wall with it. It's such a cool playlist, I love it!

I already want to die tbh, that's why OMORI helps me so much, it makes me so sad but at this point i don't actually feel sad. At this point it's just like, what actually is the point of trying anymore?
@@Dawled_up I'd have to say the point of trying at this point is simply to stop the collapse of everything around you, and to cling on to a slight bit of hope, what ever out that hope may lead to.

i love how the white space theme on piano you can hear the piano keys clicking back up and idk why but its such a nice sound maybe im just biased because i play piano
you just made me realize what was that strange feeling about the track
you can actually hear the piano part of the piano, it makes it so real
@@rubywhistler869 what i meant was usually, in piano music, you cant hear the keys clicking. you can hear the music sound from it, but the sound of the keys loudly clicking back is a nice touch (that is usually only heard with old pianos or if you listen really close to the piano) in a song that is supposed to be sunnys safe space where he can escape to to remember his sister.

@@What-sg7ue that, is unfortunately not a creepypasta, that was a real radio station, one of many radio stations for spies called "Number Stations" back in 1950 and it only ended in 2007. The sound clip in the game is indeed from that radio station, which is called "Swedish Rhapsody"

i love numbers so much. it takes my mind off of everything, because all i can focus on is the numbers that are being recited-- intelligible, but hardly. (for me, at least- i know some simple words in german.) it makes me have the need to just pay close attention, recognize everything.

This game has helped me through so much, so many hard times... it really touched my heart like none ever before, just hearing the songs makes me tear up, it's as if you yourself made memories with everybody.
@Prince Waesen are you saying that I'm romanticizing it?
@Prince Waesen It helps me because of the fact he has gone through similar things, I feel so much less alone

I think it's really admirable how you find the good in your situation and stick to it. Much love ❤️
