Then we buddy up with burned-face man before he gets burned, through him we get access to the crusader class and he becomes unburned face man, and spiritborn gets retconned out of existence, we team up with Lilith & Inarius after they've had couple therapy, and jungle jesus joins us together with Rathma and defeat the prime evils. We cheer and high-five ontop of Neyrelle's grave, and Tyreal is there too.
They need to change the games name to Mephisto 😏 in all seriousness the story was decent. I just hope the next expansion they can tease a little bit of what’s going on with Diablo himself. Also would like to see what’s going on in the heavens and angels.
I’m not sure why blizzard doesn’t realize game balance is actually super important when you’re playing a game like this with your friends and say one of them is playing a spirit born and the other three are not everyone that’s not the spirit feels like shit because here we are trying to make builds work and it’s like oh you’re stupid just play a spirit born. It doesn’t feel good at all. My buddies already put the game down because they don’t want play a spirit born and there class is weak compared

At risk of sounding like a super nerd, in the books lilith is capable of extremely convincing disguise. I believe it was uldyssian that she had fooled for a loooooong ass time. Wouldnt be all that strange if prava WAS in fact lilith. Wouldnt be a terrible story beat.

Hi. About the story, I liked that the wonderer gets pretty much KILLED. Because you have your guard down. I liked that despite our tremendoes power, we can still be killed, that makes us feel heroic, knowing that we are mortal, elevates our deeds of valor. I also like that we can play the campaing at a much higher difficulty level. I want to replay the original campaing and see how it feels to face the pale man and lilith. Make lore explainers. XD
The story is literally worst garbage they have ever produced story wise. Even d3 was better in this regard and that's saying a lot because even d3 was absolute fkn garbage. But this goes beyond. Since when the power of friendship and other bullshit like that came part of Diablo.. Pathetic and sickening. Woke as shit too. The cracks are everywhere.

Love these guys but that really is an odd take from Xanth....people don't like Neyrelle because she's a poorly written character. Personally I don't mind her at all but I see why a lot don't. I wanted to learn more about Urivar & his time in hell. Even maybe his backstory but he was a very shallow villain. Some story beats were ok & I've always loved Mephisto but ye....story this time really wasn't very good at all, 5/10 & I think that's generous. More to talk about re game balancing & the endgame still being lacking but save that for the next one 🙏 Cheers lads Just to add..the amount of bugs brought into the game was also awful. Random crashes, quest progression blocked ect

I've trolled the reddit as well as the official forums since the expansions launch and I have never seen anyone crying about Neyrelle because she was a woman. What an L take holy shit.

Like she's a teenage girl who felt that this tremendous burden was foisted upon her because she was like the only young and healthy Horadrim-esque person that didn't immediately have some sort of baggage that Mephisto could of instantly twisted. They should of leaned into Mephisto's manipulation of that. It would of been such a better and more fitting Diablo storyline if Mephisto had broke and twisted her and lead her unwittingly down the path of becoming a vessel and then SHE ends up being the one who betrays the party. Then it'd show Mephisto gets Akarat's body for his vessel while it's finally revealed that everything Mephisto has done to Neyrelle has been to prime her to be the vessel for Baal. Not only would that give meaning to the cutscenes where Neyrelle's arms and legs are being torn into tentacles and everything around her gets destroyed, but it also leads into the second expansion where Hatred and Destruction roam the world seeking Terror. Instead, we got a Neyrelle who was saved by the power of friendship and will most likely have no long lasting emotional or mental scars despite housing the literal Lord of Hatred himself within her own soul. Sorry for the long winded first paragraph, got kinda heated but I still stand by what I said.
