How much was the VIP tour
Don’t know the exact cost of this tour but as we say in the end of the video, it costs $425 to $650 per hour, depending on the season, and you need a minimum of 7 hours and can bring up to 10 people.
Lol at 11:05, the guy staring into the camera on the left. That's Randy Pitchford the CEO of Gearbox Studios!! Cracks me up how interested he was in what you guys were doing. Also, you guys rode the Matterhorn with him! LOL
Yeah he was part of our group
💸💸💸🏰💰💰💰🏰
That "WHY EVEN BRING IT UP?!" about your dogs was the funniest thing any costumed cast member has ever said to a guest hahaha
😂
🐶
Why pretty wicked
Yet they were next door to the pet sitting center when they encountered her at the front of the train station.
she was fantastic. the voice was pretty spot on.
I WAS THE CAST MEMBER ON SNOW WHITE!! THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE STICKER! I LOVED SEEING YOU GUYS
Thank you for saying hi!
awesome to see Disney cast members who like Kingdom Hearts ♡ wish there was more representation in the parks
I have a question. I'm trying to figure out how to apply to be a cast member at Disneyland. What do I need to do to do that? And any and all advice for the process would be amazing😊❤😊❤😊❤
This episode should have been called "Extraordinary Adventures" lol
😄👍
Any thing but ordinary for the regular folks. 😎
The irony of Cruella spontaneously evil-laughing at the moment you said you weren't expecting the fifty cent vinyl pouch with a free VIP mini hand sanitizer was not lost on any of us watching.
😛
Always wonder what it was like to go on the tours. Thank you so much for sharing ♥️
Thanks for watching!
@@OrdinaryAdventures ❤️
so, the first two rides were... STAR TOURS?! LOL
Yes ditto! I just got back from Disneyland and was always wondering how people got guided through the park with a cast member. I saw 3 groups of them and it seems like such a cool experience!
I’m thinking that if you can have up to 9 people and everyone splits the cost it would be totally affordable and worth it. What a crazy fun day!
Yeah could be as cheap as $300 a person before park ticket
Totally!!! But u all have to agree on the mission...is it to ride as many rides as possible...because that is what u r paying for... right?
@@OrdinaryAdventures and get photo pass included ...can u imagine all the amazing photos w your favorite 8 friends/family 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
@@OrdinaryAdventures so do you have to buy a park ticket in order to buy the vip pass?
@@miriya7413 yes, unfortunately
I was invited on a tour, and we managed 13 rides. One thing I noticed was that my feet hurt much more than usual. Aside from extra ride time (which is short) the time you would have spent waiting throughout the day is spent walking to the next ride. It was a great experience, but if you really want to maximize it, make sure you are in good theme park shape.
This is true
I love the interrogation they do before you go into the cell on Rise. When we did it earlier this year my youngest (4 YR Old) agreed to give up all the information for cookies. The CM was great!
It’s the best
what a delightful experience! the first order has ways of getting your information any way they can, even if it involves...cookies! :)
During the 60th I actually won the VIP tour. It was amazing! It just so happened we were celebrating my parents anniversary, our anniversary and hubby's birthday. Best day ever.
It’s such a amazing day at the park
Back in the 60’s and 70’s when I was there with my family, I was always in awe of the guides and thought what a cool job it would be. They were always so good looking and classy.
😎
Wow, can I just say, I haven’t been to Disneyland in over 3 years which is the most for me. This video not only shows you experiencing every wonderful ride, but shows your reactions and your fun and your memories in the making and it really does something to my heart. I’m incredibly grateful that I get to see this, it’s easy to put myself there and feel the air, hear the noises, see the sights. Great quality video, just, incredible. Thank you so much
❤️ thanks so much Chrystal and we hope you get back to Disneyland soon
Yea I agree. Before covid, i used to go to disney minimum once a year either in Orlando, Florida or Tokyo
My heart 😭 you’re so sweet
Omg Cruella had me laughing out loud 😂😂
Haha
Peter and Kitra! This video was really great! Thank you so much for bringing us along on this VIP tour!! And thank you too Richard!!! Kitra, I will use your pro tip of pulling yourself forward to ensure a less bumpy ride on every vehicle going forward.
It’s a great pro tip. Glad our guide Phillip told us that
Haven’t gotten the chance to watch this yet, but just saw your insta story. Ignore the haters, Kitra. Being a dork is okay and it’s better than being as hateful as that person was. Guess I better carry a hairbrush around Six Flags, so people don’t comment on my appearance too. I wonder if this person is so tough at theme parks with high thrill coasters to walk up to a girl and give her a hard time about her hair 🙄 You keep being you, Kitra. You and Peter’s dorky personalities are why I have been watching your videos since the early days, don’t change for anyone.
❤️❤️ you are so right! I’m a huge dork and watching Kitra be herself and have fun helps me to be comfortable in being my dorky self too
❤️ thank you
You’re literally on roller coasters. Your hair is gonna get messed up! That person needs to touch some grass 😂😂
If she doesn’t care, neither do we, PERIODDDTTTTTTTTT 💅🏾✌🏾
Wow, wow, wow!!! Such an exciting day, so glad you got to experience the plaid vip tour and thank you (and Richard and Randy) for taking us along!! This is def on the bucket list! “This is how you Disneyland people, no time for rest”. Love it! 🤗🤗🤗
Love this video, so much!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
🙌❤️😊
“No we are not mega rich” 😂😂. Great vid by the way.
Thanks for watching
I’ve been telling my siblings we should do this with our kids. Glad to see exactly what it is. Keep the videos coming ♥️
It’s a lot of fun if you wanna ride lots and lots of rides
THIS is why I love OA! I feel like I just went on a VIP Disney tour. Excellent and fun video. Kitra, I hope you get that soap in December!!!
😊❤️
"What am I going to say, it's a banana!?" 😂😂😂 hilarious!!!
🍌
Next time say it's a banana and see what happens 😹
'why yes it's a datapad, and Im transmitting the plans for this highly operational space station to Yavin 4 now...'
That was so awesome, im glad you guys got to enjoy that experience, always a great video Peter and Kitra!
Thanks Francis
I’m so happy for you guys to get to experience such awesome Disney magic! Thanks for sharing it with us. 🎉🤩
Thanks Jen
Aww Peter got emotional at the end of the tour. So sweet! You guys are great. Hoping to take my family to Hawaii and do Aulani the way you guys did. Thanks for the great content.❤️
Hope you get to Aulani!
I literally LOVE your Disneyland/galaxy’s edge adventure so much! Rewatching them constantly to get myself ready for this Friday (disneyland) and Saturday (Cali adventure) for my birthday! 😍
Thank you!
Thank you Randy and Richard!!!!! I have always wanted to go on a VIP tour and thank you for letting us join.
Thanks C Jar!
I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited to do a vip tour. It was such an amazing experience, our guide was awesome. I wish Mickeys Magical Map was still going because that show is awesome and you got reserved seating for it. So happy you both got to experience it!!
Dang wish that was still going too 😭
Ahhh, what an awesome day at the park! This was so fun to watch, one of my favorite videos from you guys yet! 😁 Can't wait for our trip to Disney World in October (crossing fingers covid isn't rampaging out of control...)
🤞
Your guy’s videos and editing are so awesome! You have become my go to Disney and attraction Vloggers!
Thank you Will
So the "Heck Room" in Mr. Toad's wild ride always reminds me of Arizona in the summer time. The heat and, strangely enough, The smell. I've lived in Arizona in the Phoenix area all my life so that's saying something. A little bit of home on my vacation.
😈
Yep! I live in Phoenix too and it’s pretty much the same 🥵
Definitely my favorite Disney vloggers. Your guys’ videos make me wanna go back to Disneyland so freaking bad !. Awesome video 🤙🏻
❤️🙌
That Jungle Cruise Guide was crazy 😂
I was a Plaid from 2006-2010 - was a cast member for 17 years in total. Those 4 years were my absolute favorite. I met some super rad people. So glad you got to enjoy this.
😄
This is amazing 😍 thank you very much for this video 👍 and the job of the vip guide is like my new dream job 😂 that seems like so much fun to show the guests around and help them have a magical day... AND ride all these great rides with them 👍
It must be a fun but hard job
Oh wow, that looked like an Awesome day. Thanks for sharing and to Richard and Randy too!!! Great video, as always, can’t believe you managed to fit in so many rides. $4000 is a heck of a lot, but I guess if you can afford too, then why not! (I don’t think I’ll ever be able too)
If you had a group of 9-10 people all pitching in for a vip tour it could be as low as $350 each after tip. Of course that’s in addition to your park admission so it’s not cheap but that seems… doable maybe?
Don’t forget to add 20% tip…so it’s closer to $5000…
I recently subscribed after one of your Galaxy's Edge videos, but yesterday I was at the park and the lines were absurdly short for a Sunday. So inspired by this video, I decided to see how many rides I could do in a single day at Disneyland. I ended up doing all 31 rides open in the DL park yesterday! It was such a fun experience and I owe it to you for inspiring it, so thanks!
That’s so awesome!! I bet your feet hurt afterwards but so worth it!
@@OrdinaryAdventures They did! Especially because I took a "break" at 4 to walk over to Trader Sam's to pick up that Jungle Cruise mug.
EPIC Video happy for you guys! Thanks for sharing the experience I know I'll never be able to do this.
We thought the same exact thing so you never know!
WOW, what a nice blessing Richard and Randy shared with you and then you were able to share with us, I think it would be worth it to split the cost with the whole group...What a way to end the day....
I agree, if you had a group of ten you could split it for $300-350 each (not including park tickets). Definitely not cheap but I could see the value in doing that. And Richard and Randy were so nice to invite us!
@@OrdinaryAdventures I am surprised that some enterprising company doesn't put together groups of 10 people to get the cost down. If they just charged an extra $25 per person, that is $250 just for making the arrangements. Do two a day, it is $500 a day without too much over head. $2,500 a week, $10,000 a month. Just for arranging smaller groups into larger ones. And then turning the group over to Disney to deliver the goods.
Loved it as usual!!! You guys are the best!
Thanks John
A wild Randy Pitchford sighting!! I was trying to figure out if that was him or not when I peeped that rad button-up towards the beginning of the video. Such a strange mashup of my interests: Ordinary Adventures x Gearbox. Love it.
Haha yup that’s him
Hahaha i saw that too had to back up the video. Would love to see some ordinary adventure voice characters in the next borderlands 🤞🏻
Thanks for the quality video that actually gives us good glimpses into each ride- really enjoyed the whole journey with my virtual VIP pass! I almost felt my feet hurt towards the end. Cheers✨
Thank you for sharing. Thanks to your friends Richard and Randy also. What an amazing way to see the park!
Thanks John
I think it was in 2005 when Disneyland was doing a “Magical Day” or something when a cast member gave my mom and my two kids lanyards for front of the line. I believe they gave 50 out each day. It was awesome because cast members would tell us congratulations and everything. Sooo awesome
Year of a Million dreams! I loved that promotion! Those were called ‘Dream Fastpasses’ they were amazing on the busy days. We were lucky enough to win them twice!
@@joshal4795 I always talk about it lol I couldn’t remember the promotion name. Twice is amazing!
How cool!
I miss the year of a million dreams! My family got those fast passes, Mickey ears, and passes to ride on finding nemo before it opened!
I wish that comes back even on Disney World since it's their 50th anniversary.
Thank you so much for sharing! This is on my bucket list. We were annual passholders and will be signing up for the Magic Key program and we're so excited to go back! Does the tour guide ever go on the rides with you, or do they just wait for you to finish the ride?
He went on some of the rides, especially when it didn’t require an additional ride vehicle for him to participate. For example you could see him in our vehicle during webslingers
Loved the video. It's cool to finally see what it would be like to do that. Also, I hope you this channel gets big enough so you can do this at every theme park. Keep up the awesome videos!
Ha that would be awesome. Thanks
Thanks for bringing us along. What a great experience💕💕
Thanks for watching
I never even knew this program existed! Thanks for sharing! Kitra your editing is great!
How were the rides selected? Could you go on whatever you wanted or were they pre-selected?
You can go on whatever you want :)
Could you go on one ride ..like Indy...4 times in a row? Or do you HAVE to alternate rides....asking for a friend....
I think so. Just not rise of the resistance or webslingers
That was fun and exhausting just to watch. Thanks for sharing such an awesome experience!
Ha thanks
What a super fun vid! So glad you got the opportunity, plus able to share it with us. Thx to your swell hosts & very cool guide - lotta nice tips, gonna try the Matterhorn one for sure. Gotta also say the comments on yr vlogs are always fun, but this one blew up. All so nice, and a lot are rly funny too. ❤️ to all.
Thanks so much
Excellent work, Guys!! You guys "Dominated Disneyland"! Something me and the boy do often. We hit it hard and at a blistering pace. Park Domination days are a fun way to hit the parks in between all the other more casual, event, dining days. Kudos!!
We haven’t tried a ride packed day at the parks in years
What you should of done was ask the vip tour guide for the Mickey soap. Just like how someone got a charger from them they’ll magically bring you some soap too.
Haha you’re right. I’m sure he could have conjured it up
I won a VIP tour from the 60th anniversary giveaway they had. It was amazing.
That is awesome
Wow lucky you, congrats! 🎉 👍
That’s so cool!!
You both are the best! Thanks for taking us along for this more than ordinary adventure!
Thanks Vic
You seem like the sweetest, kindest people! The great friends who treated you to this experience, I’m sure, were just as honored to have you ‘along for the rides’…!
❤️😊
I 😍 it when Kendra says darn ebayers!! I’m dying 😂😂
😆
The search for that soap has become the “Kitra Soap Challenge”. You should create T-shirts or a logo with Kitra on it & Mickey-shaped bubbles around her 😀 This video was awesome. I love how you guys are so cool & so genuine
Haha
Is this the h2o bar soap? I’ve been looking for it myself for a few weeks now.
Extra ordinary!!! I've lived in southern California all my life, we would go once a year, had no idea this excisted!!! Wow! This was just amazing! Thank you for taking me there!!! Very classy guide!!
Thanks so much Lucille
This was really great! Thanks for showing this. I have been wanting to do it but never knew if it was worth it or not. Definitely worth it!
I could definitely see doing it splitting it with a big group of friends.
You guys need to do a short video post of the interaction with Cruella. I laughed so hard at her reaction after you told her what kind of dogs you have. 🤣🤣🤣
😂
The more I watch your videos the more I want to go to Disneyland. Thank you for the awesome videos.
Thanks for watching
so happy you guys got to experience this to show everyone what it’s like, amazing vid as always !!
Thanks Liliana
This video was amazing, what an incredible experience!! Thank you for taking us along 🥰
Thanks for watching
Am I the only one who finds the little R2 party at 5:42 adorable?
😊
Lol went back to see, so cute! Thx for pointing that out :)
Incredible! Such a great experience! We are doing one for my son’s birthday and can’t wait ♥️🤩
You will have the greatest time. It’s so stress free and it feels like your pampered and everything is handled for you
WOW! a what if.. bucket list dream come true! Thank you for taking us along 🏰🎠🧚🏼♂️
Thanks for watching Hulamamma. After this and the club 33 experience I don’t think we can get any more boojee
Thank you guys. That was awesome!! I think you made some believers out there that Disneyland actually is The Happiest Place On Earth!!! Great tour, unbelievable loved it. You two rock. From B. In Mexico
Thanks Brandi
Wow! Randy Pitchford was with you guys, he’s the CEO of gearbox software, that make some of the best video games and he’s also an excellent magician!! That is so cool. Did he show off any tricks?
That’s how I know him, from the magic world. He did some card tricks for Kitra and she was amazed.
I was like no one else wears those shirts but Randy…
I'm glad I found this comment. I saw him in the background and did a double take and was like whoa is that Randy Pitchford? Amazing!
Seriously I was going through the comments and no one was talking about how Randy Pitchford was with them.
@@AlexRowe ME2
I love the Matterhorn Bobsleds (it’s my favorite ride at Disneyland). I prefer the LEFT side as it drops under the bridge (which is slightly terrifying!). #ShakeRattleRoll
Most people prefer left :)
4:51- hes so good at his job I felt like I was really at Disney haha I really miss it I haven't been since covid first started but this really helped!
❤️
Thank you for sharing😇🙏🏻✨, that was so amazing. That looks like silica a glorious fun time. I hope one day I’ll be able to have a guided tour with my kiddos even though they are all grown up now haha. I’m still a kid at heart though and my youngest has always wanted to go to Disneyland✨🙏🏻💞. Many Blessings.
Disneyland is still great without the tour, it’s just it’s stress free and you get so much more done with it
The fans on your shoulders buddy look animated LOL love this type of content! 10/10
👍
Wow what an experience i can't imagine how tired you both were by the end of the day. Thank you for showing this video and thank you Richard for such a wonderful gift. Cruella was a kick very funny to good times🍻
Thanks for watching Jacqueline
10:45…Your friend, Richard, reminds me of Paul Reiser! VERY Cool friend to have!
Ha I can see that
What a neat opportunity!!! How cool! Looks like you both had so much fun. Great video! 💖✨
It was fun but more rides than we normally do in a few days at the park 😂
How exciting .thank u . I loved it . Great tour .
Thanks 😊
We've done it many times and always have a great day! Same plaid (guide) every time. He's family now lol
That’s cool.
omg! Thank you for this. I've always wondered what this would really be like. I bet if you had asked, the plaid would have found you Mickey soap to buy!
Thanks for watching
What a wonderful tour and fireworks too how great ! Thanx for taking us along
Thanks for watching Barbra
Thank you Richard Randy Peter and Kitra that was great i will defo watch it again!
😁
A friend of mine does this a lot been on the VIP I think 6 times already it’s nice to have some days where you can just hope on rides without waiting last time we rode Guardians 9 times in a row lol
It’s really nice to not have to worry about anything. It feels like everything is taken care for you. I think we would have done rise multiple times in a row but they wouldn’t allow that 😂
This vid was amazing. These one of a kind experiences are perfect for people who are not mega rich! Thanks for inviting us along for the ride. ❤️
Thanks Martha
My friends went on a vip tour but they can afford it lol
Thank you and your friends for taking us along - wonderful start to my weekend!
Thanks for coming with us virtually John
Y’all are the best, thank you for posting videos🙌
Thanks for watching
Shoutout to Richard and Randy for letting us Ordinary Adventurers a look at what it's like on the other side!
Yes thanks again Richard and Randy!
In late June I went on 22 rides (all the major ones including Rise) and managed to have drinks at Ogas and Carthay Circle all in one day. That will never happen again but it was great!
Haha yeah that was before the crowds returned
Please make a how to video
We average 8 and call that a good day
Living life - Thats the best adventure. Thank you for this awesome video.
Thanks for watching Steven
@@OrdinaryAdventures You guys are goals for all of us. Joy/ Fun. Also let the haters hate lol. I have seen the negative comments, but it shouldn't bother you guys. Its a red light that just goes for some sec. then green lights of positive energy after.
Best Disney Park video ever, and you brought us along. You picked the perfect foods, rode the perfect Disney rides, and you made this video magic. Big hugs to your friend who invited you, hence us. 🙂 pure magical fun...
Thanks so much Kimberly
What a fun time. Peter, Kitra. You’re well loved.Good things happen to good people. You deserve the trip. Thanks to your friend for hosting you.
💕💕
Our record was 18 rides in about 9 hours. The summer of 2019 when everyone was staying away due to the opening of Galaxy’s Edge.
Ha I remember those times, the park was empty
Y’all just earned a new subscriber! I’ve been looking for amazing Disneyland RUclipsrs! Glad I found y’all!!!
Thanks Lauren!! Welcome
had to come back and watch again after the live chat discussion. How cool would it be to have the best disney bloggers in one VIP tour. the fireworks seating was amazing!
Those were the best seats ever for sure!
Thank you Richard and Randy!!! What an amazing day!!! 🏆
💯
i honestly never ever found the reason to care for disneyland or ever go but because of you both i now want to go at least once 😍
Ha mission accomplished. If you’re a thrill ride person there isn’t a lot of that but if you just want to immerse yourself in a vibe and get some good food and ride some chill rides, it’s an amazing place
This video was so well edited!!! I loved it!
Thanks so much
Watching you guys walk & do the rides ....Whew I tired 😫 😫😫.....I'm glad you guys got to experience the Plaids...those were some great seats for the fireworks 🎆 🎇 .......thanks for taking us along😆😁😄😃🥰😍
Ha it was fun but also exhausting
Ordinary Adventures and the co-founder/CEO of Gearbox, creators of my favorite game franchise of all time? That’s pretty cool.
🙌
Didn’t quite understand the pro tip Peter mentions while in line on Rise of the resistance. What can you do with the clocks on iPhones?
Sorry we weren’t more clear. When you are trying for a boarding pass at 7am, you can use a second iPhone to monitor the world time for when to refresh the app precisely at 7am. Usually we pull up a World time website counter.
Just repeating my comment, sry, but it worked for me on the same phone just counting with the clock for a minute (toggled back to the app a few times to make sure it was still there) & counted down the last 10 seconds in my head. Worked just fine, almost every time :). Two Rise & two Webslingers in 4 days. Should add that was a lot. Makes the ride the focus of the day, gotta be ready when your time is up. Two ride breakdowns kinda messed with our sched for food & Savi’s but it turned out fine. You can show the ride CMs your reservation or receipt for Savi’s for ex & get on a bit late. That was the first week of AC, so it was pretty crazy there… Gobbled Pym’s lunch way too fast, wish I’d known we could’ve relaxed, ah well. Still had an amazing time.
@@OrdinaryAdventures I count down to myself the last 3 mins. I get close most of the time.
Love you guys so much, I may never get to do a VIP tour so was awesome to see.
Glad we could show you.
such a phenomenal video Thank you for posting I do miss we want the redhead that's the most missed part of Disneyland to me
Thanks
Thank you to your friends Richard and Randy! They brought us along too! I think the VIP tour paid for itself with the reserved seating for the fireworks show! Love your content and all the pro tips!
Those firework seats weee awesome
After watching a bunch of Disney videos, I feel I got unreal lucky going a few months ago. There was a 5 minute line on 95% of rides, and the most I had to wait was 35 minutes on one at any park I went to. I got to do everything, and stuff like rockin roller coaster 3 times in a row. Galaxy's Edge was also just unreal - I walked on the list at the cantina and was immediately sat with a group of 5. I don't feel I'll ever have the same experience again, and it kind of bums me out.
