This is the master plan. Also recently with the fries and wings over by test track it’s perfect to go through the pavilion before and right into Mexico! then keep going
if you're wondering why there is singing heard in cosmic rewind's exit, it is actually the songs that were originally going to be the ride music but got cut. DFBguide's video on the ride explains this also my favorite song on the ride is a tie between everybody wants to rule the world and one way or another because i like how everybody wants to rule the world seems to have no singing in it and is a slower song, while one way or another is good to me because it is sung by the sanderson sisters in hocus pocus 2
Hey friends! I absolutely love Cosmic Rewind!! I think I was so excited about the experience of the ride, I never made it to the merchandise stand! so thanks for stopping and showing the merch.
I was feeling so much second-hand anxiety for Kitra before she got on the Guardian's ride. So proud of her for doing it anyway, and glad you both had a great time!
kitras face on frozen when peter mentioned cosmic next LOL! such a fun day, grateful to have experienced this day and cosmic with such a great set of people! Fun video, cant wait to go back to Epcot!!!
Loved this video! So happy you got to go on Guardian Cosmic Rewind! Looked amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you guys go on so many rides in a video. Thanks for sharing. Epcot looks much more fun now.
Seeing you being brave Kitra and ending up being so happy you went made my day! And Peter, that ride must be beyond amazing if you loved it that much. So sweet you wanted to make sure Kitra was ok before the ride took off💞
Hey Ordinary Adventures! The Push trashcan you guys have found actually used to be a main attraction at Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland! In the past a cast member would drive PUSH around tomorrowland and talk to guests. But now he is retired and has his forever home in the Odyssey building in Epcot, and he is still talking to guests to this very day!
The “Japanese squishmallow” you were holding is a character from summiko guarashi. Or things in a corner they are a small group of shy outcasts who gravitate to the corners of spaces and found each other and are now friends. A group of Misfits. That specific character is called Tonkatsu and his story is he’s a piece of fried chicken that was left on the corner of his plate because no one wanted to eat him. Because the only amount of meat he has is his nose the rest of his is all bread. His dream is to one day be eaten. He has a breaded shrimp sidekick with the same longing. Japan is wild.
I honestly have never gotten a better representation of what the ride is than I did watching your video. I really felt like I was there!! Amazing! And Kitras immediate reaction was so happy I loved that
That little remote controlled Emile is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen for sale in the parks!! I’m so glad you bought it and showed us. This video was also very nice to watch it had a slower-paced vibe that my family really enjoyed.
With the Infinity stone pieces, the gems work like kyber crystals, the light up features and some sounds will change depending on which stone you put in each prop.
“Xandarians are famous for their AC.” - favorite line in this video. Haven’t been to Epcot since 1998. Thanks for the trip back! Videos w/your RUclips friends are awesome; but all Epcot coverage has been a bunch of fun. Thank you!
OMG I was so nervous for Kitra going on Cosmic Rewind and then SO beyond happy and relieved for her when it didn't make her feel sick. There is nothing worse than feeling nauseous when you're supposed to be having fun. Yay Kitra! :) ♥
“You ever wonder what’s behind the wall at Epcot- Walt sitting on the toilet” best Peter quote “Gotta suffer for fashion” another great fashion quote from Kitra 😂
Kitra, I am SO glad you got through Guardians. It is an incredible experience and it does feel like you are flying through space (although I think it would be a better fit in HS but that’s a whole other can of worms, lol). That said, Guardians leveled my sister and I think would do a number on most folks who are prone to motion sickness. My sister laid on a bench for about 30 minutes afterwards, trying to get her head to stop spinning. I felt terrible for her. So I’d say my pro tip is - if you are prone to motion sickness and you’re worried about it, send your more resilient travel buddy on Guardians first as a tester and have them report back. If I had ridden it first without her, I would’ve told her that it was going to make her sick!
When my wife and I finally rode Cosmic Rewind, we thought this was going to be a simple family coaster. Boy were we WRONG! That has some serious G’s. So well done, we can’t wait to do it again!
PRO-TIP about Disney Japan 🇯🇵: make sure to do your research because Japanese culture stresses the importance of silence, and there are rules against vlogging on certain rides and attractions to prevent disruptions and distractions. Because of this some people record video without audio in those areas and record a narration over the clips later. 👍 So be sure to ask the cast members first before you start recording 📸
I’m so glad that Kitra did not get sick after Guardians…I’m nervous about the motion sickness too-I’ve heard it has made some people sick the rest of their park day… I’ve watched all my favorite vloggers and Adam said his friend Brickey felt pretty awful after 😖😣 I wonder how Just Ask Danny felt after the ride? Hope he had as much fun as y’all did! Thanks for a great Orlando/Epcot 40th series!!! It looks like y’all had a great time despite Ian crashing the trip!
So happy you enjoyed the ride, I know the fear and being worried about is gone. An favorite part of this vlog was at the end of the intro. Hanging at the park with good friends and creating awesome memories.
Everyone, RUN don’t walk, get yourselves a neck fan. I got the same kind that Kitra and Peter have for Disneyland (a few weeks ago when we had that insane heat wave) and it was a game changer. We also got a stroller fan and cooling towels and together it was like the staying cool trifecta
I got to ride Cosmic Rewind over the summer, and I was laughing and giggling the whole time! I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it because I'm not a big fan of spinning, but since this did more switching back and forth than just straight around and around and around, I was all right. It's basically Primeval Whirl on steroids, and I loved Primeval Whirl.
I could NOT handle Emile crawling on me! Did you guys go to “Honey, I Shrunk The Audience” at EPCOT back in the day? Do you remember the bit with the mice getting duplicated? When the jets went off my mum and I were terrified and convinced there were mice crawling on us! We were so scared! That is unfortunately my lasting memory of EPCOT as a 9 year old! I went on Ratatouille at Disneyland Paris a few years ago. It’s a nice relaxing ride. Hope you enjoy Cosmic Rewind! I’m writing this halfway through the video so I haven’t seen Kitra’s reaction yet. Take care! Charlotte xxx
Kitra we were at Epcot today and snagged a virtual queue spot for Cosmic Rewind. I got my bf to ride it because of you (we adore you guys, 5 out of 5 Kitras! LOL) It was too much “spinny” for me (If I get dizzy, I’m toast) but it was very smooth and I loved the reverse launch for sure! I think the jury is still out on my bf though. 😂 I was very proud of him for giving it a shot though, he is not a thrill ride fan normally. ❤
GOG Is by far the coolest thrill ride ever. There are BIGGER coasters but the thrill factor on this one being in the dark and seeing the planets and stars around you is a HUGE amplifier. This ride is by far my must do over and over even if I have to pay extra. The G's it pulls are impressive but it's also the smoothest ride at the same time.
So fun fact the last time I went to Epcot was my senior year of high school in 2014 and my group never even made it to the world showcase. We went to Soarin' first which was an hour wait, than we ate an early dinner (we didn't get to the park until 4) and than we rode Living With The Land, Spaceship Earth (3 times), did some shopping, and by the time we had done that it was time for fireworks. I always regretted not going to the world showcase with a different group. My group was more into rides than the travelling around the world aspect of Epcot.
Very cool, and very good that Kitra got to ride. The transporter effect first existed in The Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas. My oldest and I went there, and thought, "Wow, that's amazing!" Then we looked down, and the FLOOR was different as well. That blew us away. So probably the same technology. "Like Space Mountain, but better." Ok, going to DW next year, and going to hit this ride. Oh, my daughters loved the Cava de Tequila (and I love the San Angel Inn). You're both so cute, and your joy so obvious.
Loved how the Guardians ride descended into chaos with the reactions! Loved the Groot magnets. I LOVED the Japanese shop but didn't discover it till the day before I left so was very short of cash by that point!
If you buy the infinity gauntlet you get the infinity stones with it, but not the ones in the elaborate cases. If you get the stones and Loki’s scepter it lights up in the color corresponding to that stone. The ride is amazing, and I don’t normally get motion sickness, but if it was 15 seconds longer I’d lose it.
After my first ride on GoTG I described it to everyone like it felt like I was roller coaster dancing. Shortly after I watched a vlog Disney put up and the imagineers that made it literally said its supposed to feel like you're dancing.
I agree Debbie on the statues. Throughout my trip I had no idea if the Magic Band+ was even on or off. (since it still works like the old magic band in the “off” mode)
Always start in Mexico! So happy you guys got on Guardians and that Kitra didn't get sick. It looks so amazing! I really hope I can get on it next month when I'm there!!!
I loved this ride!!! I rode it a week ago and I almost missed it because when I was waiting in line I had to use the restroom soooooooo bad and I was dying until I sat down and if I missed it I would have been sad I did. It was worth the pain.
Thanks for all the pro tips ! I’ll be heading out to WDW next week and so excited ! Looking for reservations for the Japanese restaurant you recommended 👍🏼
It took me forever to get to this video w all the vloggers I follow and it did not disappoint!! I loved every second of it! I love your child like enjoyment of everything! But esp Guardians of the Galaxy! ❤️❤️
I start in Mexico. My daughter has been on Guardians several times now trying to get all the songs. She loves it. I can't wait to ride it myself. I'm thinking of doing the LL. and the virtual queue when I go.
We will go left towards Mexico if we are wanting a drink, and Right towards Canada if we aren't because of the superior water featureand maple popcorn. But most of the time we enter at the beach club entrance and go right towards France. ;)
the way you get transported to the Xandarian ship is very similar to the effect used on Poseidon's Fury at IOA...but for those who haven't been on that, it can be really surprising I bet!
I have a reliefband. I used it at SeaWorld back during spring break. I was able to ride 4 roller-coasters which is more than I normally can. I'm taking it in January hoping that I can last on Cosmic Rewind
Always left to Mexico, it’s not even a question. However there is a stipulation. I typically stay at the Epcot resort area and enter through the International Gateway, so my left or right is either going to France or UK. But since I enter early in the morning, I usually go left towards UK to get to Future World to ride those rides and when World Showcase opens, I head back and go LEFT to Mexico!! 🤣 Very long winded answer but I felt it was necessary…and in either situation, the answer is LEFT 😅
24:20…According to what I’ve heard, the transporting effect is actually similar to one that was used at the beginning of the “transporter room” effect the old STAR TREK EXPERIENCE that used to be at the Las Vegas Hilton in the late ‘90’s/early 2000’s used (and THAT was always kinda mindblowing, especially considering it was almost 25 years ago they pulled that off…this new effect seems just as trippy!)
Knew kitra was gonna like it, when she said she didn’t wanna ride it last time, was a little sad that she was missing out cause it’s definitely is one of the best new rides in a while, and since the coaster cars actually turn and “drift” around turns I actually think it’s way nicer than all the other indoor coasters
If planning to visit Japan, start practicing with chopsticks at home to get more comfortable before you go. Baby steps! It will make the trip less stressful, as forks are not the typical option there! 😅 (especially outside of Tokyo Disney resort) .
As a child, I always went left to Mexico. As an adult, I always go right to Canada! It was an unconscious decision that I only realized recently. No idea why!
SOO when I went to Epcot last year, I wanted to "drink around the world" and started in Mexico because, of course.. it's always so exciting to start off your Epcot day with drinking a delicious margarita. BUT I got super adult happy (drunk) by America that I had to skip a few countries (cry!) and finished in the UK with a classic beer. After my trip, I was told by multiple people that when you start off "drinking around the world" you're supposed to start the opposite way and begin with Canada. Apparently because tequila in the margarita(from Mexico) gets you drunk faster, instead of starting with beers in Canada > UK. So when I go back, I'm going to try again and start in Canada LOL :D
I am so glad you got Blondie for your cosmic rewind first ride. We had it for our first ride too. On our second day we had “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears and I didn’t like it as much, I got motion sick that time so maybe that’s why I didn’t like it as much 😂
So interesting trivia...because i haven't been to epcot in years. The reason the souvenir shop at the japan pavilion had mario kart merchandise is because it's the ONLY north american branch of a famous Department store chain in japan. And the company has a lisencing deal with nintendo which is why you also saw animal crossing stuff as well.
From an Epcot ex-cultural rep: you start in Mexico BUT then you head to Canada while drinking your avocado margarita and finish up in Mexico again!
Now that’s the master plan
This is the master plan. Also recently with the fries and wings over by test track it’s perfect to go through the pavilion before and right into Mexico! then keep going

Cosmic Rewind is a GOATED roller coaster, it’s always fun when it drifts. The Imagineers literally played Mariokart 8 Deluxe with this one bruh

Good job Danny on your pronunciation of Teppan Edo! Most vloggers call it 'tepan-eedo' but you got it right with 'tehpahun-eh-doh' ! Good job!

Danny rocking the southpaw chopsticks! And so glad we got to see you on this day and share first time Cosmic Rewind rides with you.

I got to ride Cosmic Rewind over the summer, and I was laughing and giggling the whole time! I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it because I'm not a big fan of spinning, but since this did more switching back and forth than just straight around and around and around, I was all right.
Oh I’m sure all those similar effects do the same type of thing but I couldn’t see how it works
I did enjoy it and glad I went on it but it still did make me a little nauseous so I probably won’t go on it all the time
YESSS!! i was waiting for this video guardians is the best ride in the world!!
Soooo good
Yes Peter you should get it The only other people that would know would be us
😂
That ride looks like so much fun 😊
It was
I'm so happy that you guys finally rode Guardians!!!! This is the best ride at WDW!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
If planning to visit Japan, start practicing with chopsticks at home to get more comfortable before you go. Baby steps! It will make the trip less stressful, as forks are not the typical option there! 😅 (especially outside of Tokyo Disney resort) .
I’ll just take plastic forks with me. I’m not good with chopsticks
I go right towards canda cuz our family always orders the fish and chips for lunch in the UK. Plus I love the shops lol
Love that fish and chips
15:24 one of those signs had "the laughing Cow" dairy products logo.
random
one of the voices in the trash can was definitely Jess Harnell
Love Guardians. Best ride at Disney! It was super cool to watch you do it. 🤘
So fun!!!!
As a child, I always went left to Mexico. As an adult, I always go right to Canada! It was an unconscious decision that I only realized recently. No idea why!
I always want to turn right too!
On our second day we had “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears and I didn’t like it as much, I got motion sick that time so maybe that’s why I didn’t like it as much 😂
It was so good!
YAY! You got the song I did on my ride. I was able to go on the second day after it opened
