When people ask you "Who do you think you are?", throw the question back to them. Because they are just as ordinary as you are. No one is above anyone else regardless of station. And what is the big deal about her son being a doctor when he can't even stand up to his own mother?
Except for backwater sub-third-world cultures where ANYONE older than you by ANY amount MUST be deferred to (sometimes by literal FORCE OF LAW), and child abuse isn't LEGALLY "a thing."
The "big thing" about becoming/being a doctor is, I guess, it's hard? Guess it's hard if you want to be a GOOD doctor...
A good assistant /nurse can do some basic surgery work and get a major operation organized . They run the operating room! They are the sergeants of the hospital.

GOOD LORD people if you can't be faithful don't get married. OH what fresh hell is this? this crappy lady honestly thought this girl was going to stop what she was doing and take care of her and the ex thought she was going to take care of HIS mommy for him after the way he treated her? EX MEAN'S EX.

Ummm.....If both of you are in love and consenting adults Why the Hell do you actually need somebody's else's blessing or permission to get married? I can't believe they're begging tooth and nail to get married. Most people just get married and that's it.

If the Mil has end stage Cancer , why didn't she get admitted to Palliative Care/Hospice . That's what I did for my mother had Stage 4 small cell Lung Cancer .
