Depends on if they have shared assets as an engaged couple, and it could be marriage fraud since his goal was to get into daddy's company and access to daddys money
Another thought to consider....Was it a one or two-party state? If it was a two-party state she could get into ALOT of trouble for recording him without his knowledge (If they are in the US that is). As for winning the case......that would be up to the judge in this case, however, I'm not sure if it was really worth filing the suit....small claims has a really low ..up to $5,000. Meh....whatever.
There are some cultures where there are men with this exact attitude towards women - and a lot worse. Not all of them, it has been changing, but enough still exist.
Change is mostly because the women are good at yes-ing them, then doing what they want. Plus they're changing their sons' perceptions of women.
The laws greatly vary from country to country. Depending on where they live, she could absolutely get it.
