Yup. Hate it when people do that. IMHO it is abusive, a form of malicious bullying. As psychologists and advice columnists frequently remind us, people are not mind readers.
From the 1st mention of "suicide" and "don't come" the whole thing seemed suspicious, and I kept expecting the mother yo admit that Lily was not really dead at all.
I'm sure there are one or two people who don't have much life experience out there who are so afraid of being publicly accused of being the cause of a loved one's suicide that they would try to hush up any accusations. 99.9% of people wouldn't though.
I agree. This story hit me. Because when I was a teenager, I was bullied so hard, I was where thinking about suicide my self (in many different ways) , unfortunately. But I managed to get out of that thinking. So yeah, this mother makes makes me sick. Suicide is nothing to joke or lie about.
I broke up with someone over that kind of game. “If you don’t know I’m not going to tell you!” Me: “okay, we’re done”. I left and never talked to him again.
Brain was living with his mom and not his wife? Who in the mom’s family was helping with the kidnapping/imprisonment of her son and daughter? This was just too confusing and waaaaay toooo long
Many prisons have psych wards because it costs the judicial system way too much to have a prisoner go to a psychiatric hospital in the community. They would have to have 2 guards with them at all times and the person would need to be kept away from other patients. The prisoners would have to be handcuffed to the bed and escorted by the guards just to use the bathroom and anytime they need to leave the room. Where I live, there aren't enough beds at the psychiatric hospitals that can provide psychiatric care to everyone who need help in the community. Too many people are on waitlists and falls through the cracks. These facilities certainly can't accommodate prisoners as well. Not only that, there's not enough outpatient services in the communities as the mental health centers don't have enough staff or funding to provide this.
I don't think she committed suicide if I was the daughter-in-law I would be calling the police that mother-in-law had something to do with this. I think the husband is trying to protect the wife something fishy is going on
I'm as confused as everybody else. Was her husband actually living with his mother? Was she on a business trip and he was visiting his mother? Please, ffs, explain the story in the "after that"
Brenda: "What I did to you was just a charade to help us become friends? It's no big deal, right?" Me: "Terribly sorry, but kidnapping, Unlawful Detainment, filing false police reports, and extortion are not any sort of charades, and they are not funny. Enjoy wearing an orange suit that was made by the lowest bidder. They don't have Coach, Dolce Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, or Gucci in prison."
As there is still time for Brenda, in an effort for authenticity goes so deep in the weeds, stroke territory, she can not return. Some indicate a certain reprobate personality which these videos tease us with. Using the shock of suicide for the viewers, why not go further. Most end with alone in a shabby apartment. I live alone in a shabby apartment and many of our audience the same. So Lee Marvin declares he is a product, a chance of birth. (Bastaxx) where the antagonist is also but a “self made man”. Brenda creates and lives in her own hell. Many things are worse than death and worse than prison. Turn those creative juices loose!
Listened again as I really like it. I cannot understand how someone thinks they'd get away with faking someone’s passing. The mil is truly whacky and in real life she should get prison time and psych.
This was a very odd story. As someone who suffers from depression and has family members who also have had depression, a story about extortion involving suicide is not entertaining.
THIS STORY SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNDER 20 MINUTES! Wayyyy too much repetition and the amount claimed was so unreasonable making the story bothersome to believe😒
I hate when people play games. When someone asks what did I do, don't play the "you should know" game. So immature and manipulative.
Yup. Hate it when people do that. IMHO it is abusive, a form of malicious bullying. As psychologists and advice columnists frequently remind us, people are not mind readers.
Talk about a gaslighting drama queen.
From the 1st mention of "suicide" and "don't come" the whole thing seemed suspicious, and I kept expecting the mother yo admit that Lily was not really dead at all.
If someone doesn't want me around I'm surely not going to beg them.
This scheme is so goofy. Legit question...do people actually fall for this kind of thing?
I'm sure there are one or two people who don't have much life experience out there who are so afraid of being publicly accused of being the cause of a loved one's suicide that they would try to hush up any accusations. 99.9% of people wouldn't though.
As a suicide loss survivor that mother is disgusting.

My 18 yr old daughter committed suicide, and left no note. I know this is just a story, but I found it disgusting.
@@mog-gyveroneill2500I am so sorry for your loss.

This story gave me some eery vibes. My father committed suicide when I was 3 (I'm 50 now) and my mothers name was Brenda.
🙏🙏🙏

I love how you develop your stories. You are good!
Wow....
Brenda and her twisted family really need to be an asylum not just a prison cause what she did is just beyond villainous

This could have been a good story about someone hiding their pain from their family. But no, it became a Monty Python scetch.
A bad Monty Python sketch.

Agree. Calling the police is a great idea
So many red flags in first few mintues. Wow that is such a weird story
This is a long winded story. Using a lot of words but saying the same thing over and over again.
TBH, even though I like watching these videos, they are all like that.
To keep you along with the story and maybe get more advertising in.
To keep you along with the story and get more adverts in.
I tend to flip ahead or dump the story altogether. They're a waste of time.
I usually enjoy the (sometimes) unnecessarily long exposition at the beginning but this one felt like it dragged way too long.
story is confusing and long winded..call the police..who has an extra million dollars around? I would of hung up the phone....scammer

This started as a human drama about a suicided SIL. By about :25 it was sinking into preaching and melodrama.
the lines from the daughter in law seem to be from an etiquette book. like word for word.
15:16. Aaand the other shoe drops. Money! Show me SOLID evidence, not baseless emotional rantings.

11:25. Even if Lily was faking the friendship, her death cannot be her friends fault.
This is one of THE dumbest stories I have ever heard!
Get on with it, stop it with the lol’s, and that was a very short epilogue for such a long video.
This was a very odd story. As someone who suffers from depression and has family members who also have had depression, a story about extortion involving suicide is not entertaining.
Is anyone else bouncing ahead to get to the actual story?
Yep, all about money.
THIS STORY SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNDER 20 MINUTES! Wayyyy too much repetition and the amount claimed was so unreasonable making the story bothersome to believe😒
The beginning of the story seemed a bit too rushed when the MIL went from telling the DIL to accusing her.
Lord,what a stupid fairytale
Extortion is ILLEGAL Brenda.
Soma y words and yet nothing intelligible said.
Worse story ever ! I mean wthell 1 million dollars then 10 get freaking real….
Couldn't carry on after " suicide" real or not , it's not for light entertainment, is it ?
Sounds like sounds like a darn sermon not a story if i want to be preached to I'll go to church
Very weak ending to a curious story.
WTF...?
To long!
Too long winded. Can't watch it any further.
No need to take the Lord's name in vain. It adds nothing to the story and is offensive to many.
What a dumb story.
