really awesome cars, just getting into them I found a stock IHI turbo/manifold/downpipe for an 89 at work just laying around and was like "wtf is this" now I know 😂
My first three cars were Impulses. #1 was an 83/84/85 Impulse #2 was an 87.5 Impulse RS Turbo (man I miss that car) #3 was an 89 Impulse Turbo LOL My ex wife even had two Impulses #1 85 Impulse #2 88 Impulse
I've got 4 of them. One is driven 100 miles a day. The other three is for parts to keep the one going. Had some very strange problems that were difficult to fix. Wound up making parts for the shifter and steering rack mounts. Otherwise its a blast to drive.
Got both .I run the 4zd1 engine. It's snappier and with a few modifications is as fast as the 4zc1. But I live in San Antonio and I don't have time to pull it out and ship it. I don't know how to contact you.
scholwinsk let me go ahead and ask my manager to contact you. He should take care of everything. Since it's so rare to find I'm willing to give you 10k. Thanks - Henry
Piazzapower the turbo is a Garrett 2860r, paired with rb25 450 injectors. Haltech elite 750 stand alone engine management. Currently 1Bar with arp head studs and wouldn’t suggest even that on stock head bolts. There is no option for an mls head gasket I can find so boost is severely limited to avoid head gasket failure.
@@The_Impulse very nice, thanks for the reply. Still on stock pistons at 2 bar sounds brave? I bet it goes like a scalded cat tho. Mines been off the road for welding for a while now but should be back for the summer.
If you are careful and watch out for the tiny ball bearings the window switches can be repaired. Also keep the rockers in the correct positions, they are not the same. If you need more help with them let me know.
jonathan little just have to be diligent in looking. There are some that come up for sale every now and then. I don’t know of any that are available as of now.
O'reillys has a flux capacitor hidden in their catalog. The manager of the store that I do most of my business with showed it to me after he seen what I was driving.
I miss my 86 turbo. Leather interior. Digital dash. Gorgeous.

Still an awesome car.
Can't beat small 80s Japanese cars.

scholwinsk you wouldn'thave a sun roof to spare? Would you? Or a 4zc1 engine?

Hi I've got an Isuzu piazza turbo, what turbocharger are you using and how much boost, is the fueling still stock? Thanks.

I have one as well but it is different from this stock one
Do you still have your impulses? I am in need of a driver door switch panel.
Jessica Brandt what year and how much of it? Just the window switches?

Any one of them for sale? Can I get some parts off the last one?
Roderick Pettiford everything is for sale. I will take any offer I can’t refuse.

Or even the white one in theback.urs sounds like it has a knock
