I bought a 1985 Isuzu Impulse turbo brand new. I loved that car. The engine lasted forever. I finally traded it in in 1998 with 250,000 miles on it...and the engine was still good. One morning, i put it in reverse (i had the 5 speed manual) and the loudest boom i ever heard a car make happened. It wouldn't move. I got out and the front wheels were at 45 degrees! The front axel broke! I saw that as a sign and traded it in...but i hated to do it....i couldve got another 50-100,000 miles on that engine.
I owned an 83' silver metallic Impulse. I thought it was the most contemporary small car in it's time. I was 24 at that time. I put about 110k miles on it. It was underpowered like many small economical cars back then. I liked the 1st gen best with the turbo and Lotus suspension. Very unique car! Thanks for sharing!
I had an 85, 87 RS and an 89 Impulse. My wife had an 84 and an 88 Impulse. It's actually how we met. The 87 RS Turbo was my favorite with that salt and pepper tweed interior.
I worked 30 years ay Subaru-Isuzu in Lafayette Indiana..and owned 2 Isuzu Stylus XS..sedans great little cars & dohc engines..we built the Isuzu pick up , Rodeo. Amigo. Honda Passport , Isuzu Axiom...great times..
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work this company made some good cars and suv the company was making a name for them selfs advertising was classic 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Ssh… don’t let too many people know about this car, it’s a hidden gem and it would hurt so much to see its value skyrocket just like it’s competitors have
The 2nd generation looks like a cheap ugly little firefly only good enough to compete with the housefly Mazda MX-3. Nevertheless, its 4-dr version -- Stylus -- is stylishly cool, but still rides uncomfortably. 2 generations later & only a few more years, this sedan (a.k.a. Gemini) has been replaced by a highly sophisticated "4-wheel Double Wishbones" pampering-riding Civic, also rebadged as Acura 1.6EL in Canada.

I had a 86 white non-turbo manual transmission until 1992. I drove the hell out of that great car. It defined my 20s.

I have 5 88&89 HBL impulses. Love them
Gotta love the T-Body
Five of them?!?
I always loved the first generation Impulse's. Beautiful cars. I miss the innovation and chances the Japanese automakers had in the 80's and 90's.
Great video thank you
Nice
Рекламу в Индии снимали ? ))) первый раз вижу , чтоб пуля вместе с гильзой летала
