How this brother actually makes his extensive research and connects with every aspect of life is indeed amazing by Allah... May Allah preserve you brother
Assalamu alakum brother Ali Hamuda. I wanted to show my gratitude for your contribution towards the betterment of my recent life. I've been someone who has been fighting addiction for more than a decade and since last Ramadan listening to your eloquent and such relevant lectures has made my Iman a lot stronger than ever. There are many scholars but your sincere tone along side such captivating grammar has wholeheartedly opened my heart to a new life. Thank you and may Allah have mercy on you my brother. 🤲
If anyone is reading this, please include me in your prayers to stay on the right path, become healthy physically and mentally and get married inshaallah I shall pray for you brothers and sisters too.
May accept all of your prayers. Ameen. If possible pray Tahajjud, recite durood e Ibrahim and do Istagfar. Very effective way of get rid of hardships and depression.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The most complete of the believers in faith are those with the most excellent character, and the best of you are the best in behaviour to their women.” (Tirmidhī)
Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) Whatever challenges you are going through, Allah can fix them within the next minute. Increase your belief in Allah. Increase your certainty that this is just a test, and the only way to pass this test is by being patient and NOT complaining. Never lose hope in Allah. May Allah reward you❤️
I would like to be one who can describe what is like to be a Muslim who has several complex overlapping mental health conditions, and who is isolated from muslim community, isolated from family, and the affects that it has on my ability to practice sufficiently , to fulfill duties, to be consistent, and sustain positive mood, and parent, I think it's beautiful to hear from a imam with such compassion, but It's another level to hear from someone who suffers from these circumstances, inshallah I will have the opportunity
This was so educational we definitely need more of this kind of information in today's life. People are quick to label a person who suffers from a mental illness as crazy and some ugly ones or the famous concept is that someone did black magic on them.
So true. The truth of the matter is that when a person becomes weakened by depression, the shayateen come of their own accord, they don’t need an invitation. We end up blaming people yet all along shaytaan is the one misguiding us
You're my favorite sheikh to listen to brother in Islam AND Palestine 🇵🇸. JazakAllah khair for all you do. I've learned so much and returned to the dean with tremendous powerful momentum largely in part to your lectures. JazakAllah Khair brother. Im improving every day, and I'm NEVER going back to who I once was inshaAllah. And SUBHANALLAH Mashallah AlhamduAllah, what a feeling! May Allah reward you. Salamualakum
"And life is just a moment of perseverance" perfect line to end with, how quickly it passes and how little rest we really need. The next world is the place of ultimate rest and bliss, but we must come to recognise it in this world, do good deeds, help others, call to and remind of Allah with good words - the Most Merciful, the Most-Loving
Just to say this actually hits the nail on the head so to speak. So many aspects have been touched upon with plenty of thought and consideration. May Allah SWT bless our brother Ali H to even greater depths and with Al Fiyah. Ameen
The most important and genuine statement or the reality or the truth you have stated at the last minute of this video and that makes tears come in my eyes and made me more cautious on the hear after life!! May Allah swt makes us steadfast in our imaan.
May Allah reward you for this lecture and may Allah help anyone suffering from depression. I would recommend Natasha Campbel's books, she looks deep into the diet as a root cause causing gut issues that further provoke mental health issues
Subhan ALLAH! How beautiful & perfect is Islam! Al-hamdu-lillah for Islam, and may we understand it and apply it in our present life, so that we benifit here & in the Hereafter too.. jazaak ALLAHu Khair for the lucidity Shaikh.
Alhamdulillah brother, started to listen to your clips during this Ramadan, it is so relatable and beautiful. May Allah(SWT) bless you in abundance for giving us all this information 🤲
Masha'Allah. Lovely video and I really enjoyed and benefited from this. May Allah bless you. One thing that comes to mind. I wouldn't recommend the consumption of antidepressants. I have personally taken a range and sure they help with SOME symptoms for a short period of time but I think they cause more problems in the long run. They make you feel numb and sort of disconnected. Doctors also usually don't monitor you on them properly and I have only seen them try to increase the dose or add more medications. Also, after extensive research I have found out that almost 99% of serotonin is produced in the gut and the most common type of antidepressant that is prescribed is a SSRI [ Selective serotinin reuptake inhibitor] basically increases the levels of serotonin within the brain when this is not a natural way of being and sure it can have some benefit but not in the ways it is handled. I think Talbina and gratitude is a good start. Alhamdulilah after reverting 80% of my mental health symptoms were relieved and it started when I stopped pitying myself. I mean this all in good faith.
Jazāk Allāhu Khayran for this beautiful khutba dear brother Ali. It simply strengthened my eman and resolve in the following tenet of belief that “Allah SWT is sufficient for us” May Allah SWT reward you, your family, and your loved ones with the highest Jannah. Ameen. Please make dua for my family and my brother and his family as well (he is divorced with three beautiful young, growing boys). I truly enjoy and love watching your videos. You are a blessing to the modern Ummah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
Jazakallahu khairan for clear and concise explanation and awareness. Also just to add Vitamin D deficiency is also linked to depression, people are misdiagnosed with depression when it is Vitamin D deficiency. May Allah protect and increase us. And Allah knows best.
Assalamualikum brother I was feeling really down not making sense of my purpose and the situation I'm in now. Alhumdullillah thanknyou Allah for giving u the ability to explain and islam the way you do so we can relate. This is what should be taught in masjid and your style and technique of teaching.
