    What breathing pattern would you suggest after finishing 3 rounds?

  • @zangiefromanov2563
    @zangiefromanov2563 4 года назад +4

    I wonder... could you do an interactive version where the timer keeps running so you can do as many breaths as you wish or as short as you wish. You need to tap the mouse (if you use a skip box) to skip you to another retention timer which again you can do as long as you wish until you tap the mouse. Having the alpha and beta help with meditation a lot more than listening to voices which take away from your own personal thoughts or lack of. I find the breath audio distracting, instead of meditating I'm continuously trying to sync my breath with the audio and it detracts from the whole experience. I find the deepest experiences I have, involve me breathing as deep as I can, at my own natural rate, for as long as I need, and not being dictated by breath audio or voices (which are really useful for beginners). Just an idea, basically a glorified stopwatch with binaurals but giving a deeper personal experience that can be done with eyes closed and just a click of a mouse.

  • @pmp521
    @pmp521 Год назад

    Thank you for this. Are you supposed to have your eyes closed or does it matter? And is this a good excercise before meditating?

    • @handsforwarrodneymorgan2616
      @handsforwarrodneymorgan2616 5 лет назад +2

      "Ambient" music.
      There are different genres. I personally prefer "space ambient" or "space ambient drone" but "shakuhachi flute " or "bansuri flute" is very nice also. Just do some youtube searches. Lots of nice music out there. Also look for "432hz" music. This is,the natural tone.

    Could someone explain the reason for holding breath in? Is it just to oxegenate the body? Iam wondering if it can stress the adrenals to do this for someone who had burn out and adrenal fatigue.

    • @TAKEADEEPBREATH
      @TAKEADEEPBREATH  4 года назад +2

      The deep breathing will lower you Co2 within your blood, when you breath hold this allows the Co2 to increase. Higher levels of Co2 is what causes you to want to breath when breath holding and one of the reasons why you can breath hold so long after fast deep breathing. breath holding after the deep breathing will allow Co2 levels to increase to normal and allow a healthy flow of Oxygen to get from your blood into your tissues and organs. Also the breathold is so relaxing and peaceful, Im sure there is much more going on, but thats some quick info for you.
