I love this album. I am a hill and mountain runner who lives. in Scotland and I regularly listen to black metal or folk metal when I run but this album is like a dream come true. Really captures the essence of the land in which I live, work and run. Love it 🤘 What I would really love would be a collaboration with yourself and John Ferguson who writes the Saltire graphic novels- a graphic novel about a mythical defender of Scotland from the mists of time. That would be amazing 😁 Congrats on an amazing album and I am bow away to sift through Saor's back catalogue. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

@SAOR Your new album is impressive, like always. "Guardian", "Aura" and "Forgotten Path" are masterpieces and the references in Atmospheric Folk Black Metal about nature, moutains, forests and rivers. As I had suspected in the chat, "Origins" is more focused about Pagan cultures than nature (especially Picts you said) and you reached the perfection in the way of the Pagan Metal. The "telephonic" voice at 9:04 until 9:30 is strange, but because EVERYTHING is perfect, that's really not a problem. After hearing it again, it's not shocking. Clear and Growl vocals are impressive as always, and perfectly executed, with a great impact because perfectly interspersed throughout the album. Again, thank you very much for this new Pagan masterpiece. I'll buy Origins, for sure. Ho, and I love the epic Scottish atmosphere that bathes your album.

Saor somehow makes their music both more accessible AND heavier than before. Origins flows better than any of their previous releases. But like all of them, it's still a thing of beauty.
