That’s great! I’m so happy with my Bike. I need to do a follow up because I replaced my 27.5 with 29” wheels. I have a Lynskey Pro GR Gravel bike also. Cheers!
Nice vid. You should try anodizing your frame. It’s super easy and fun to do at home with alligator clips and 9v batteries. I did my Live wire in September and it was super fun.

What’s your crank arm length? I always run a shorter crank arm when my under wheel. My Cro-Mags stylus with 26+ inch wheels as a 165 crank arm length while my route down on 29 inch wheels I run a 170. Although that may be fun to run mullet, seeing as how you have the wheels. Oh yeah, my route down is a titanium, coming in at 32 pounds so you did good on your weight. Also, calipers need to be tightened, they are the ones that hold the brake pads and pinch against the rotor your brake levers, or once you leave loose.
170 mm crank arms. I knew trying to reuse my 27.5 tires wold be a problem. Thought about 27.5+ but they require 35mm rims I have 30. Chris King 29” wheels are awesome. No pedal strikes now. I mistakenly said calipers and put a graphic in the video saying levers. Thanks!
@@MuddyRuttzz Oh yeah, the other thing, buy the right size dropper post! Using a shim puts undue stress on that short length of where the shim adapts your seat tube. When you have the proper size it distributes that torsion all the way down the seat tube because of the tight fit. It’s a couple hundred dollars more but will save you from having to replace a frame. Besides those race face go bad after a while. PNW loam dropper
IMO, you spent $$ where you didn't need to (CK) and skimped where you could save money and weight (i.e. Rotor cranks). Wheels are OK but the tires are heavy. If you made the whole bike XT , you would've saved money and weight. I have a Salsa Timberjack (L frame) with Fox Factory 34 140mm, and full XT, Ibis carbon 27.5 and it's 26 lbs. 2.4 R and 2.6 F Bontrager.
Your right. Definitely made some mistakes. I had to do some upgrades after this video. I wrote an article you can check out here that shows what I did. Really appreciate you watching and commenting. www.muddyruttzz.com/post/10-tips-for-building-titanium-mountain-bike
Remove the paint on the cranks and other aluminum parts would be sick with that titanium frame
I really appreciate this video. I love high end bike tools and bike components.
Thanks! Much appreciated!
I'm waiting my NEW Live Wire frame!!! 🎉🎉🎉
You’re going to love it. I upgraded mine with 29” wheels. That’s a lot better. Good luck!
I've got a Live Wire SL I built frame up a couple of years ago. Fantastic bike.
