Titanium stands for: exclusive, noble and timeless. Andreas Kirschner, head of the company Falkenjagd, has dedicated himself to the development and construction of titanium bikes since 2005. Like no other manufacturer he dedicates himself to this material and spares no effort and high tooling costs to perfectly implement every detail and all current standards. For the Hoplit RSR MTB Hardtail frame he even had extra tools made, which were provided to the tube manufacturer. Parts of the frame are 3D printed from titanium. Few if any manufacturers spend this kind of effort. The Hoplit RSR model is the sporty titanium mountain bike hardtail from Falkenjagd. The geometry ist optimized for a suspension fork with 100-120mm of travel. The frame is extremely robust compared to carbon frames and can withstand the toughest racing use as well as the use on bikepacking trips with light luggage.

Titan steht für: exklusiv, edel und zeitlos. Andreas Kirschner, Chef der Firma Falkenjagd, widmet sich seit 2005 der Entwicklung und dem Bau von Fahrrädern aus Titan. Wie kein anderer Hersteller widmet er sich diesem Material und scheut keine Mühen und hohe Werkzeugkosten, um jedes Detail und alle gängigen Standards perfekt umzusetzen. Für den Hoplit RSR MTB Hardtail Rahmen ließ er sogar extra Werkzeuge anfertigen, die dem Rohrhersteller zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Teile des Rahmens sind aus Titan 3D-gedruckt. Nur wenige Hersteller betreiben einen derartigen Aufwand. Das Modell Hoplit RSR ist das sportliche Mountainbike-Hardtail aus Titan von Falkenjagd. Die Geometrie ist optimiert für eine Federgabel mit 100-120mm Federweg. Der Rahmen ist im Vergleich zu Carbonrahmen extrem robust und hält dem härtesten Renneinsatz ebenso stand wie dem Einsatz auf Bikepacking-Touren mit leichtem Gepäck.
Wir hatten die Gelegenheit, DEN ERSTEN Rahmen in unserem Workshop zu bauen, viel Spaß mit dem Video.
