Muncie 4 Speed Tear Down

Tearing down my Muncie 4 speed out of my 1971 C3 Corvette. I am finding things wrong with transmission that I was not expecting.

Great detailed video. I got a stomach ulcer with all the pins. Luckily there is a video. I hope I don't have to mess with the transmission on my original C3-sole owner. What do you recommend for a repair manual? I have the reprint Chevrolet book which includes corvette but as usual detail is missing. Thanks again.

I am not looking forward to putting all those bearings back in place. I have the same repair manual and you are right, it is missing a lot of detail. When I can't find what I need in it, I go to RUclips. When I was younger there was no Internet or RUclips and not many manuals so the only way to learn was to tear into something and figure our how it worked. Of course things were a lot less complicated back then. Thanks for watching.
