Had a chance to buy a 81 completely stock. One owner. Paint needed polished out. No visible cracks in the body. seams. First year for computer controlled carburetors, smogger here in Kalifornia. Slug for performance. Great looking styling for one of last years of C3. Built at Bowling Green.
Just came upon a 67' Stingray with a 4spd muncie...was rebuilt like 10yrs ago. Issue is likely in the linkage...need some measurements. Doesnt go in gear when forced...but goes in if I gently slide it in. Then sometimes it gets stuck in 2nd? #yikes

He shows how to rebuild Muncies and other transmissions. He sells a performance kit for Hurst 4 speed shifters to tighten them up and make them shift smoother.
