what about enchant?, taking the fact you already have the cataclysm edge (hypothetically) wich enchant would be the better to put on it? moongose (as always) or executioner?
This question is a little more complicated than it seems. Arms Warriors can armor cap against low armor bosses (6200 armor) but cannot against high armor (7700 armor). If you are not full bis here - I personally would put executioner on it. This would be a huge luxury but, since arms warriors are the only spec that will use catas edge, I would try to get two. One with mongoose for low armor bosses if you ARE arp capped against low armor bosses and the other with executioner for high armor bosses.
I think it's expected that you have Improved Faerie Fire and Heroic Presence when raiding. Otherwise without you are going to have to swap items in for more hit like Shadowmoon Destroyer's Drape, Band of the Ranger General, Red Belt of Battle/Chain of Unleashed Rage etc. The difference is minimal. Seems to me that because of this limitation of Crit optimization on gear with ArP you are going to see a diminishing return on ArP stacking at around 1700, simply due to the loss of other stats. This will of course be the same for raiding without Improved Faerie Fire, maybe starting at around 1500 ArP.
@@Berserkism yep, thats why Helm of Illidari Shatter is dann ducking good.. go with 2 Piece in T6... shoulders and chest Rest is offitems, and ur Hit is fine
I haven't done the sims yet for a full p5 bis but if I had to guess Apolyon, the soul-render that drops off kil'jaeden in sunwell replaces catas edge. It has higher top-end damage, higher dps, 3 sockets, crit, haste and ap even though it lacks strength and arp.

how do you keep the required hit rating thou with 4 T6 pieces? looks like you need to rely on the food buff to get exactly 142 with this.

I looked on wowhead quick and I didn't see any 2 handed maces or swords that drop in sunwell.

Apollyon off KJ replaces it, but by then you've already beaten everything lol.
