Great video! I hope you see this and reply. Mostly, I agree with all you said :) The only thing I see differently, is the Scotsman's Skullcutter. The damage bonus allows you to oneshot soldiers and demoknights with a crit (and it kinda always crits lol). Especially the latter is really dangerous, so that comes in handy. And both of them are quite good at moving around quickly, so they often appear right in front of you without expecting it. The reduced speed is not really much of an issue, as you usually just swing it once anyways (you either die or kill the opponent). The holstering speed is indeed a bit of a pain, I guess you didn't even mention it in the video. But, it also has an increased range! So you can just move back a little, swap to your melee, and then kill. So the holster speed and the range kinda balance each other out. Overall, that is why I prefer the Scotsman's Skullcutter! :3
My favourite way to play demo is a subclass i call stickyman where you use the wee booties , the quickiebomb launcher or stock and any melee (golf club preffered) its basically like playing a speedier demo with pipes you can detonate at will , really fun tbh

Stock launcher, sticky jumper, and either pan or eyelander. I use it just for the fact that with the stock doing 100 damage on pipes, your able to do a lot of damage fast, and with the ability to jump away to health packs and ammo packs, so with the option to have stat increases with every head collected, you become a scary class.

4:07 WELL DONE YOU HAVE DISCOVERED THE SECRET DOOMOMAN. HE HAS WATCHED YOUR PROGRESS CLOSELY AND BRINGS YOU GOOD LUCK AND ONE TOOF BUCK POINT. TᏋC APPLY.
For primary, I prefer to use Double Donk Meme gun, it helps you get more accurate with your pipes For secondary, any of the sticky launchers are great Scottish resistance on defence quickie bomb on offence stock if you're just roaming For melee, stock and reskins, the zatoichi, paintrain paired with charge n targe and boots for fast capping demoknight.
I feel like toofty is trying to grind for an achievement when he mentions demo knight and then says “but that deserves a video of his own” In short, where is 10 stages of demo knight toofty please I want to know what stage I’m at
I feel like now that the iron bomber is fixed, a good loadout would be the splendid screen to deal with really nearby enemies like scouts or pyros, the stock grenade launcher for it's slightly increased explosion radius and roll, and possibly the zatoichi, skullcutter or stock. The reason for this is that to pump out dps like a good demo should requires only his primary weapon, with 100 damage a pipe not including the splash damage it'd get. Since demo has such a disadvantage at short-range, the melee and secondary should be made towards defending himself from classes that might come too close. This could potentially work for any shield, or even the quickie-bomb launcher for sticky jumping while pushing away any scouts or nearby classes, but anybody who can aim their pipes can pretty much just fire a 100 damage pipe at a scout, then finish them with their splendid screen's bash. The melee choice of zatoichi is purely because it has no downsides if you just know when to bring it out, and that time will come very often with your lack of a stickybomb launcher. The skullcutter will be reserved purely for fighting off demoknights, since the extra damage combined with the crit potential of the shield can take down eyelander demos, and potentially can execute something simmilar to the 'puff n sting' where the demo can pipe an opponent's legs to send them into the sky, then shield bash them and crit them with the skullcutter, which should deal a good 300 damage. The stock is still a viable choice, however, as it's rapid switch time in comparison to swords is very nice, though hiding behind a corner and switching or just simply firing a pipe and bashing into the opponent should suffice. The demo can slightly use his shield bash as a melee for any weapon equip, and that would basically make the stock kinda useless if you can just take out any class by pressing m1 and m2 to kill light classes. Another thing is that, while skill-ceiling pyro will always airblast perfectly, the demoman can potentially charge and kill a pyro with the extra melee range of the swords, and the zatoichi here would give the demo far more longevity in this situation. The one downside this loadout has is that, while it does increase the abilities of a demoman when they are not in a team, losing out on that sweet 75 damage m1 m2 spam is a very bad thing especially considering the massive area denial it provides. This demoman should be considered fairly strong on his own, and would work out well in 1v1's with lighter health classes that he would likely be fighting against anyway since nobody would want to take the risk of being hit by two pipes and dying.
caber is actually pretty good viable for demoknight in turbine and literally nowhere else but it works well as its own too, it's for those people who don't get into melee fights much, and when you do you're already one step ahead, the caber launches you up which is bad if you're in a low ceiling building but it gives you the advantage if you have pipes or stickies loaded in your weapon, it's usually instant win or tie for most 1 on 1 situations also it's funny. that's the best part about it
As of recently I used the Iron bomber + Sticky Jumper combo and oh boy is it satisfying hitting people with the double grenade as you fly by in the air at Mach 5

I use it just for the fact that with the stock doing 100 damage on pipes, your able to do a lot of damage fast, and with the ability to jump away to health packs and ammo packs, so with the option to have stat increases with every head collected, you become a scary class.
Loch and Load, tide turner, clademorih. There's your answer
That's just nasty
@@jonathanallison6270 I hate the roll RNG on the Iron bomber, so I don't use it. That's it
@@zachstarattack7320 Is that worse than no rollers at all?
I really dislike all 3 of these weapons quite frankly
But I respect your opinion
Personally I use the loose cannon, sticky bomb launcher, Scotsman skullcutter
@@jonathanallison6270 Yeah I would use the Loose Cannon for fun sometimes, but I love demoknight trimping and I HATE RANDOMNESS in my video game. Even for the iron bomber, I'm frickin' not using it with that randomness
@@jonathanallison6270 I use iron bomber, sticky jumper, then the pan. That or iron bomber, quicky bomb launcher, and a pan.
Soldier: Stock Rocketlauncher, Buff Banner, Disciplanary Action
I’d say the engineer would be interesting to do nect
the high iq play at 1:16 where you place a sticky for the sniper to shoot so you can rush in while he cocks his weapon was just exquisite
For scout in my opnion:
Scattergun
Pistol
The sword
Nah, more like bfb, critacola, sandman
@@dinonuggiesguy4847 The stock bat
@ScOrPiOn or any comp player in that matter
4:07 WELL DONE YOU HAVE DISCOVERED THE SECRET DOOMOMAN.
HE HAS WATCHED YOUR PROGRESS CLOSELY AND BRINGS YOU GOOD LUCK AND ONE TOOF BUCK POINT. TᏋC APPLY.
SolarLight would say something different
Oh hey! It's you again in the comment section!
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
For primary, I prefer to use Double Donk Meme gun, it helps you get more accurate with your pipes
For secondary, any of the sticky launchers are great Scottish resistance on defence quickie bomb on offence stock if you're just roaming
For melee, stock and reskins, the zatoichi, paintrain paired with charge n targe and boots for fast capping demoknight.
I have discovered the secret doomoman.
Iron bomber, tide turner *and the ullapool caber*
I feel like toofty is trying to grind for an achievement when he mentions demo knight and then says “but that deserves a video of his own”
In short, where is 10 stages of demo knight toofty please I want to know what stage I’m at
stock+stock+pan or Loch-n-load+stickyJumper+pan/painTrain
rip iron bomber lol
3:39 actually you can, as long as the Half Zatoichi isn't FULLY deployed, it won't damage you when you put it away
... still dangerous to do doe
This is the exact set I use...
Why must you hurt me in this way.
I generally go hybrid, but yeah I can agree with your suggestion when it comes to good old reliable
Best loadout is hybridknight with Loch 'n Load, Chargin' Targe and the Scotsman's Skullcutter
*that sticky trick with the sniper got me today*
Iron bomber got nerfed lol
If you quick switch to the zatoichi before the animation finishes you won’t ask any damage so you can just keep switching
Are you maining demo?
Yep
The best loadout for me is all stock
caber is actually pretty good
viable for demoknight in turbine and literally nowhere else but it works well as its own too, it's for those people who don't get into melee fights much, and when you do you're already one step ahead, the caber launches you up which is bad if you're in a low ceiling building but it gives you the advantage if you have pipes or stickies loaded in your weapon, it's usually instant win or tie for most 1 on 1 situations
also it's funny. that's the best part about it
Iron bomber with stock and pan. Or the tide turner and clehead-whatever thing. The loadout which i use mostly.
I go with this load out:
Loch-andLoad
Sticky Jumper
Eyelander
As of recently I used the Iron bomber + Sticky Jumper combo and oh boy is it satisfying hitting people with the double grenade as you fly by in the air at Mach 5
Toofty: the loose cannon goes in C tier
Me: *you have created a powerful enemy today my friend*
