- Get ready to be transported to the breathtaking scenery of Crater Lake National Park! This 3-minute video, inspired by the relaxing style of Kraig Adams, takes you on an immersive journey down the Cleetwood Cove Trail.
I embarked on this adventure on a sunny July afternoon, the perfect day to tackle the 2.2-mile roundtrip hike. Brace yourself for some stunning views along the way, but don't underestimate the challenge. The trail descends a significant 700 feet in elevation over just 1.1 miles, with a loose pumice surface that demands good balance.
The payoff at the end is unlike any other. Cleetwood Cove is the only legal access point to swim in Crater Lake's crystal-clear waters! I take the plunge into the invigoratingly cold water and explore the unique features of the shoreline, including a hidden giant cave.
Join me for a refreshing escape into the heart of a volcanic wonder. Prepare to be captivated by the beauty of Crater Lake and the thrill of reaching its shores via the Cleetwood Cove Trail!

It is a all a crater from a mountain eruption years ago. Deepest Lake in the United States!
Beautiful.... and you're also a great humorist👍💁♀
Ah thank you, appreciate it!
What an exciting and challenging adventure to jump into this lake. Was it cold? What fantastic colors of the lake. The view is incredible. It's great to hike there. I enjoy watching!!💯
It was pretty frigid but not the coldest lake I've jumped in. It was an incredible lake. I'll have to bring an underwater camera next time I go there!
Great views! Bet that was a chilly swim 🙂 Crater Lake is stunning, you captured it well!
It was quite cold but worth it! Thanks for your kind words!
So beautiful lake!

Fantastic video! This has been on my to-do list for about 3 years. Im inspired! (thx for putting the date in the description).
Thank you! It's a pretty quick hike but well worth it. It wasn't until after I got home that I realized there is a cliff diving spot. Almost glad I didn't know at the time because I think I felt I would have had to jump!
Great video mate. I really like the evening shot around 1:52. Beautiful sunset colours. Amazing place and filmed nicely
Thanks for your kind words!
Such a stunning place! I bet the water is really cold haha. Those were some epic shots of the moon. Truly stunning footage, well done!
Water was quite frigid indeed! Thanks so much :D
So beautiful place ❤❤❤
It is an amazing place indeed!
Oh, I sure remember my dip in Crate Lake. After a hot upper 80's F degree walk around Wizard Island and waiting at the Wizard Island dock for the return boat, I just had to take a dip to cool off. Going from hot to near freezing water is quite a shock but that 3-second dip sure refreshed me afterwards! 😊 Great video as usual!👍😎
I also went for a dip off Wizard Island. Not at the dock, but Fumarole Bay
Thanks so much, sounds like an amazing day at Crater Lake!
Unique place to swim!
Wow that’s brave to jump in the water like that. How cold was it? Awesome views of the setting sun and rising moon. 👍
About 38 degree fahrenheit or 3.3 degrees celsius. So it was chilly, but not the coldes ever water :D. Thanks for your support!
Beautiful. How cold was it? Nice dancing. 😁
Always fun to dance :D. Water temp was about about 38 degree fahrenheit. So it was chilly, but not the coldest ever water. Thanks for your support!
