Want to point out something. This video was recommended to me by you guys. I’d never seen it before or her channel. Yes i do think most of this was unnecessary for the shark and even mentioned it in the video. A lot of this is acceptable in that culture and I reacted to it naturally. I’ve not seen the rest of the channel. But rest assure I understand why some felt bad for the shark as i did at points in the video.

I like watching your videos and I know you only reacted to this Mukbang because it was requested or sent to you. However I don't think that you should react to more videos like this because you are providing them (and in that case animal abuse) a plattform.
I don't mean to offend or attack you. This is just my oppinion and a careful suggestion. And please notice that English is not my first language but I was trying my best.
Daz, I watch all of your videos and have been a follower for a long time, so I'm not bashing you or however you want to put it, but there really was no need for this. I get it was recommended to you, but you should have known the outrage/upset it was going to cause. It may be acceptable in her culture, but animal abuse is not acceptable in ours and a lot of us have reacted accordingly. Cannibalism is still acceptable by cultures in several parts of the world, but you wouldn't post a reaction video to someone performing that, so what makes this any less distasteful to the majority of your viewers? Again, I'm not trying to discredit you, I just feel you were wrong in this instance to not only make money from what a lot of us consider animal abuse but to also give that woman a voice - I'm sure plenty of us were quite content not knowing about her or her awful behaviour. As for you mentioning that you felt her actions were unnecessary or whatever, I'm afraid I didn't make it that far into the video to see you say that, it repulsed me so much, I only got 3 and a half minutes in and had to turn it off.

The sad thing is that she didn’t even kill it humanely. She left it gasping on the floor and struggling for breath in surroundings which it had never seen before. Also, she was idiotic eating it in the first place because when sharks urinate, they absorb all of their urine back into their skin. If the pig is raised and killed humanely(and quickly, in the case of the actual dispactch), i have zero problem with it(I know its not done that way in slaughter houses, and for that, im a vegetarian. And i will remain a vegetarian until i am able to grow my own food and sustain myself.). Its when the animal is unnecessarily stressed out and tortured before being eaten that i take issue with, as im sure is the same goes for a lot of the other commenters here.
My point is, if she had suffocated or drowned a pig on camera, the same way she did this shark, im sure people wouldve been just as outraged, if not even more.

MXXUOLEE umm yes I know what a slaughter house is but it has nothing to do with this situation. The reason we are saying it is cruelty, and whatnot, is because she just flopped it onto the ground and let it suffocate. That’s the most inhumane way to kill a shark. I, too, hate slaughter houses and have researched them many times and have even done school projects on them (manly horse slaughter houses but you get the drift). But there is no reason to bring said cruelty up

Sharks are apex predators that have had their numbers decline from human activity for several decades, enough to the point that they are endangered species. Before that, their numbers were stable and remained relatively the same with fluctuations depending on if their environment had enough resources or not.
They are not like mice nor rabbits, because they are not prey animals, are at the top of the food chain, and they have had stable numbers that do not need any assistance in controlling.
It's also morally incorrect because us humans aren't supposed to eat things like sharks. Fish? Maybe, but not sharks. They're not a natural item in our diet and humans have adapted to eating livestock and other fishing items rather than things like sharks.
Also, its fucked up not to kill an animal immediately and/or painlessly whether it be a sea or land animal. This woman just let the animal suffocate to death, which is an extremely painful way to go.
Sharks are not food items.
