Thanks Martin. I really enjoy the real time drawings. Your videos provide a lot of value and inspiration. I like to watch how you break down complicated scenes.
Artists are never really happy when we paint something as we all have a preconcieved idea of how we want something to turn out and if it doesn't (it rearly does with me at least) then you're a bit disappointed but its a habit we need to get out of, its art at the end of the day, something good put onto a blank piece of paper. The finished example here looks fine, really nice but we as viewers did not have that preconcieved idea in our heads so it looks fantastic even though Martin seemed to think it could have been a bit better...it looks really good 👌
I really enjoyed this because it's a smaller subject for lines, perspectives and coming in with details/shadows. Yes, I would love to see more doors. One question, why the black brush with ink? Why not just watercolor? Really curious about this tool? Thanks again!
Thank you for your kind feedback! Well, I think I can get deeper and more precise black parts and shadows, but of course you can do it with black paint as well 🖋️👍
Hi Martin! I am very interested in your color palette. I snapped a screenshot of of it and wondered if you can tell me what a few of the colors are. I’m most interested in the color to the right of the red on bottom and the three on the right side of the top row Loved the tutorial!
Kuretake Fountain #13. (Black) ; DeMannen #13 (Red) .... the difference is the ink each comes with. I have both but can't actually tell the difference.😊 Thanks for the tutorial. More doors, please.
The ink had to be waterproof (noticed on the bottle, otherwise its often not waterproof) But you may use only those waterproof inks which are special made for fountain pens, like "Sketch ink" by Rohrer and Klinger.
Yes love the doors

Thank you so much, yes so I will do a tutorial about my colour palette 🖋️💯👍
@@MartinLachmairArt I know you use several, but this specific palette’s color scheme intrigues me!

Good morning from Virginia, Martin.
Hello from poland! 👍 (here’s time for lunch)
You paint great! What indelible ink do you use to apply watercolor later?
The ink had to be waterproof (noticed on the bottle, otherwise its often not waterproof) But you may use only those waterproof inks which are special made for fountain pens, like "Sketch ink" by Rohrer and Klinger.
@@MartinLachmairArt mil gracias Martin!
What fountain pen do you use ?
Hi, in this case I used a pelikan m205 with an extra fine nib (EF)
Am I rude if I say that both side, are the same. Even though it looks like they aren't.
Sorry you are absolutely right, my mistake!
