Today I wanted to share a basic Google Form that I use for attendance and to check in with my students. This form is great to use for distance learning and will also be beneficial when in-person teaching to help determine how students are feeling. This is a great way to track and document attendance. This video will go over all the basics of Google Forms and how I set up my attendance check-in.

Yes you can add whatever questions you'd like. For me it is not necessary to add time as the Google Form automatically tracks time like shown in this Hall Pass video. Sure you could add which ever questions you'd like. Not sure you need to enter time as the Google form automatically does that for you. Since they can only respond once, how do they response everyday? I plan on posting it in Google Classroom.
@lucyxiong637 In the settings you allow multiple responses. You will easily see the students who thing they can complete 5 times in one day for all attendance check in because each response is time and date stamped in the spreadsheet created from the form.
Does this save the information each day automatically? Do you post a new link each day? Thank you.
@Shelly Becerra. I use same form everyday. Google Form saves all data plus it also dates and time stamps when it was completed. Very useful tool for me and distance learning. I will require it daily to document attendance and participation.

@@MrsPTarleton i make attendance form thru google form. in the question, i add date. the problem is, my student can click the pass date and submit the form. so, how i can make the date's is fixed for current day only.
You can make a new form each day and allow only one response. I allowed multiple responses and used time stamp on spreadsheet to confirm when they signed in. Hope this answered your question.

@@afshaari8249 When they are absent they do not sign in. The form is endless. You could create a new form each month or week if that helps with tracking. Hope this helps.
