Confession - I teach high school and I found you last year at the beginning of this nightmare. I then passed you on to my department and all the district principals. It's only four, we are very small. I now come to you whenever I need to learn something new. I do have one tip to add for older kids. Have them take a screenshot of their score when they submit and then you don't have to go through the spreadsheet.
I'm using Google Classroom on my personal account as my school doesn't have G Suite for Education and I have looked at over 50 videos on using Google Forms to learn all that you have condensed into one simple video! Thank you so much! I am empowered! Can't wait until your next! Keep on inspiring and empowering!

I just had my high school students take their course final using a Google Quiz. The import grades option makes my life easy. Over the semester, I gave weekly Google Quizzes. I was able to combine the quizzes to create the final. Super easy!
I discovered your channel shortly after we began distance learning; it has been tremendously helpful to watch your instructional-type videos. I also really enjoy your favorites, routines, etc...okay every single video of yours I have watched is wonderful! I am a veteran teacher (20 years) and I love seeing your fresh perspective to the education profession and I appreciate your positivity in general. Thank you so much!
you are so awesome I have been teaching for over 27 years and all of you young awesome teachers are teaching me awesome ways to do distance learning THANK YOU so very much
Thank you for showing videos of Google for the past two weeks! They have been super helpful. I can't wait to try to use a header in a form. You're my favorite RUclipsr. Have a great week!!!!!
I appreciate your hard work and clarity in explaining everything about Google. You have lessened my shock about using GSuite. Question, please: do you know how to make word searches on Google? thank you for your time.
Michelle, you are fantastic. For teachers in Kolkata, India, with whom I work and whom I am helping with their online work, some of these are invaluable. Bear in mind that access is limited, knowledge of technology is limited and classrooms are huge! The hints and tips are great and your enthusiasm and commitment is inspirational.
This video rocks!! I’m definitely going to share this video with my teacher friends on my social media. Your videos on Google Classroom are always on point!! Yes it may take time to make the quiz, but to be able to have it self grading is a game changer and the feedback to the student is a great touch!!
Great video! I love how easy you made everything and how clearly you went over everything. My issue is that for some reason I can't view the responses of quizzes that my teacher creates. I'm her aide and I'm listed as an editor for the quizzes, but I am only able to view them.
YOU. JUST. SAVED. MY. LIFE. i'm not kidding. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! new to google classroom. new to virtual. seasoned teacher. #36years thank you!!!!!!!
This year I started at a new school and have gone from Microsoft to Google. I was so relieved to find this video. I had made a quiz form - process is very similar, but how to assign it in Google Classroom had me completely stumped. Of course, the Queen of Google Classroom had my answer - I had unwisely started elsewhere! I now have my first two quizzes scheduled and I'm looking forward to saving all that time on marking!! I will be digging in to all of these videos now that I have the platform in my school.
Thank you soooooo much! I woke up around 12:30 am remembering I hadn't created a quiz that we were supposed to be taking today. Everything went well thanks to your amazing video! Life saver! You nailed it! You rock!!!
Michelle, can you make a video for creating a Google Site for your classroom? I want to make one for next year. I’ve watched a few videos online but NO ONE explains things (teaches) like you do! Thank you, and love your channel.
I am really impressed with your presentations, on training fellow teachers catch-up with online teaching. You're doing a greater service to humanity. Thanks
Michelle, I share all of your videos with my teachers. Your explanations are easy to follow and I love your tips and tricks. Thanks for your work and for sharing.
Hello, I love all your videos. I do feel like I've grown a bunch as a teacher, especially during this distance learning period. So my school would like us to start having Google Meet sessions with our students. I have heard you mention using that with your students too. Would you please make a video for first timers like me, to explain how to set those up and any tips that I'm sure will be helpful. Thanks Michelle!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO...I haven't had success in receiving everyone's advice because I need visual with explanation and we are all in lockdown. :(
When adding the quiz to Google after you clicked ""+ Create" you clicked "assignment" (10:35 in the video). Why didn't you click "quiz assignment" instead? Just curious if you found this way to be easier for some reason.
As an ELA teacher, I'm wondering how to grade written work. I don't seem to see that option in your videos. For example, I had a question with students selecting the nouns in a sentence. I thought I chose the correct responses, but Google forms marked them incorrect. Suggestions?
I’ve had problems with the short response type questions. If i had forms correct it, questions that were correct were marked wrong because it didnt say exactly the same answer. Example: I gave them area questions and if they didn’t have the period after sq. It was marked wrong. Then I tried it without having forms correct it, but it was limiting how much they wrote: some could write the number and sq. but not the unit of measure. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but it’s frustrating my kiddos! Maybe you could do a video on open response type questions.??
D Hines my teacher had the same problem. My tips would be to either have the proper answer format in the question or make them one word answers and again address that in the question! I hope that helped!
Thanks! I don't have a computer at home but because of your video I have an idea to help a Senior Teacher how to use Google forms since she had her own computer. Thanks a lot. 😍
Great content. I would suggest adjusting the background music to a lower volume, or non at all. It was very difficult trying to focus on the content you were delivering with the music playing.
Thank you so much!!! My granddaughter will be in the 4th Grade in September. I wish you could be her remote teacher. You are keeping me in the know. She loved the Who was series of books. I been shopping up a stirm through your Amazon store
So informative! have loved watching your videos for the past few years. My grade two partner and I have just started our RUclips channel to stay connected with our learners during our countries lock down. Really enjoying it and learning all these new ways of staying connected. Truly a time for us teachers to be resilient.
I really like this video, but the jazzy music in the background was distracting. Not a criticism, just my feedback. Thank you for showing me how to create a quiz though. Your presentation was clear and easy to follow.
Your video tutorials are a life saver for me as I am technologically challenged! I appreciate your upbeat presentation. I may be ok this go ‘round with virtual teaching.
Thank you so much Micelle! I love the way you explained this video and it is useful for all of us, especially teachers, who need to teach online. After I watched your video, I have one question for you to help or give suggestion. My question is "Besides MCQ and True/False question, if we want to make filling in gaps or matching questions, how can we do?" Thank you again.
This is really a great help. I will use this in my classes just another venue for evaluation or quick check for understanding. What i do is i ask my kids to watch my teaching in my you tube channel and ask them to answer queatuins, so definitly i will use this as a tool to evaluate learning. Thank you bery much

This is so helpful! Thank you! I am trying to figure out how to make a survey for parents using Google Forms. I want to write multiple choice questions where the parents can pick multiple answers. For example: When are you available for a conference? 7:00-7:30 am; 1:00-1:30 pm, etc. Also, "Which holidays does your family celebrate? Choose all that apply" Will the form let them choose multiple answers for one question?
I would never think in a million years this would be recommended to me

Great job! Explanations are really clear and supported with visuals. You are THE BEST!
It is very easy to make quiz after seeing your lessons. But how to make it available other student to attend the quiz.
If you look at the top it shows next to the paint thing theres a arrow and u click it and u type the email
You are truly the best. I forgot how to create a quiz and now I remember. Keep up the great work.
This was very helpful and I will sent this out to my team to help them when creating forms. Maryland educators have to stick together right?
thanks a ton. As a teacher who is absolutely new to online classes, your video has helped me to make a quiz for my biology class.
When adding the quiz to Google after you clicked ""+ Create" you clicked "assignment" (10:35 in the video). Why didn't you click "quiz assignment" instead? Just curious if you found this way to be easier for some reason.
I've also wondered that.
Thanks!😃 Such a relief now I know google offers this quiz with automatic grading and show students' correct answers❤
As an ELA teacher, I'm wondering how to grade written work. I don't seem to see that option in your videos. For example, I had a question with students selecting the nouns in a sentence. I thought I chose the correct responses, but Google forms marked them incorrect. Suggestions?

I have had the same issues with Google Forma.
D Hines my teacher had the same problem. My tips would be to either have the proper answer format in the question or make them one word answers and again address that in the question! I hope that helped!
Include all the variations of answers, even misspellings you would except in the answers.
You can also just manually grade those questions to give points for their answers
