Thank you. most useful bit for me was the suggestion to loosen the nut. The spring-loaded pins on my new limbs were so tight I couldn't slide them into the pockets to start with!
great video, I have some cheaper limbs where on one of them I had to sand the little "U" on the end on the inside to make it fit around the bolt. Also, on my Win & Win riser, if I let the tiller bolts out too far (more than about 4 turns), the little flange on the limb will jam in the pocket on the riser when the limb rocks back into place. I had mine too far out once and came close to breaking the pocket when I braced the bow. The limb "U"s weren't even reaching the top underneath part of the tiller bolt. Could have been big bucks if that little channel thing had busted from the force....
I have a hoyt satori and with mine it was the lateral screws that were a little to tight. Easy fix. Really nice bow and a shame he send it back for that reason.
Space Jockey said there is a problem with the alignment plate which I will look at tomorrow. I had to remove his comment as he named staff. So I removed his comment. It is always harder with phone and ebay sales, but the video content is the same. Some IFL are tight to start with for 1 or 2 reasons. It is fine - I love the bow. Shoots great.
@@space.youtube Did you ever get a replacement? I got the riser direct from China with the new BigRock Carbon/Foam limbs arriving on Monday. Couldn't find any reviews apart from Steve's be interested to know what you think!
Hilarious first quarter... I loved watching you shyly smirk when hit with the challenge of [attempting] tugging limb OUT ;) After watching this, I see what you mean about getting better / looser after regular use / regular taking down. . . . a V handy demonstration Vid
It's actually the dovetail not protruding far enough from the limb. It can be remedied by loosening the detent and pushing it further through using a vice
Hi! I have a pretty new bow and the limbs were tight in the beginning, but got easier to move over the first few weeks - but now they are suddenly stuck so tight that nothing short of taking the pin out will loosen either of them, which is a bit tiresome, doing that every time. What could be the cause for both limbs suddenly locking up so much after they were already broken in a bit?
I bet someone feels better..yeah there's not much to it..some play up to down or in older sealed Design WITHOUT ilf aluminium, brass, tungsten insert, casing, or sleeve just whatever you call it...side to side play may be slight just get the proper string! I see more affordable options coming soon!
Stephen, you mentioned about the limb bolts all the way down. Some have stated your not to turn them all the way down but to always back off at least a full turn or more. Why and does this apply to all the ILF bows. Thank you. Alan
The limb shape you will see is curved on the bottom. When it is wound down it puts more pressure on the joint. But one riser has been used it will be fine.
One of my limbs doesn't have that little pin and spring. Should I get a replacement part or just ignore it. I've had no problems using it. Thank you, Larry
Windy blower , they are Infinity NX100. I believe they are made by Cartel. They are a fibre/hard maple laminate. Not their bottom of the line but reasonably priced. I've had them almost two years now and they work fine.
Steven, I like your review videos, but every time you make one of these "customer return" videos I cringe. They feel in bad taste, and places shadow of doubt on all other videos. If you do business online you should expect some returns, but you can't assume that everybody is out to get you.

Had same problem with other limbs on my TBOW. I put some of my choke tube grease on the dove tail for the bushing and the slip right in.

Why can't you apply a tiny amount of lithium or other kind of grease to the spring-loaded pin to make it easier to snap in and out?
Because effort
even string wax will do the trick.
Take the spring out and cut a coil off. It will make the spring pressure lighter.
You want that limb fitting to be tight for consistency and accuracy, it's far more preferable to have tight fitting limbs rather than a loose fit.
They tighten as soon as they’re strung, I think?

Larry Hoffman what limbs are u using? Just curious because ive never heard one those before

Does it matter if I lost the little pin?
You wont be able to clip the limb in
Uncle, you are so funny..😂
My limbs jump out from the pocket of the raiser when i draw the string..
I don't know why..
What a great vid . Ty
Rework by Mfg or Dealer needed.
The pin seems to be protruding too far.
Looks a lot like Hoyt Satori
this simply shows how inexperienced most archers are.
My new recurve had this problem and after a couple of tries, its perfectly smooth now.
Cricky mate never works when you want to prove someone wrong LOL

Useless
Makes me uncomfortable that someone this inexperienced is getting a hunting bow - and recurve at that...
