I had one of these xl250 early/mid '70's.. cool old bike, perfect for wifey to learn on for sure..I'd hold off on the turn signals until she gets a bit more proficient ;) Also, have her tuck her shoelaces in her shoe since there's no cover on the front sprocket...
Yeah she’s since started tucking them, after they almost got wrapped around the shifter. But yeah so far she’s kept it two wheels down but turn signals will be on hold 😆😆👍
I love it! My very first motorcycle was a ‘76 Honda Elsinore MR50, my dad bought it for me when I was 9, and he bought my older brother a ‘76 Honda Elsinore 125MT, Which was street legal. We lived in McNeil MS at the time. Had a love for Honda’s ever since. Owned a bunch of them.
in 1980 my father had me work with him for the summer. i earned 400 dollars. i searched the paper and bought a 1974 xl 250. super tough and super fun. put a super trap exhaust on it. you actually have the stock tank. what a score.
Nice bike. Always good to see a new rider progress.
That’s a great bike and Ms Andrea is doing a great job riding it. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Nice job best way to learn
This was a cool video. Nice to have someone willing and wanting to challenge themselves. Bike looks cool.
Thanks buddy!
Great bike to learn on, low to the ground where she can touch is important. Great job.
Thanks she’s been doing great on it so far! 👍
Good looking bike, bud. Love retro Honda bikes. I gotta know; You get that Whataburger in less than 30 minutes?😂
@@nextupcamping yeah wasn’t a bad wait. And yes it was worth it 😆
@@TermiteOffroadGreat bike to learn on. I have a 74 XL250 with a 285 kit and a bigger MegaCycle cam, still not a wheelie bike.

Gotta 74 ke125 and it runs like a top 🙂↕️🔥
You need to get her into the MSF course.
Parts for any old enduro can be difficult to find and somewhat expensive
Gonna haul both on termite or trailer them??
We have a few options, but yeah if we’re taking both bikes we do have a 10’ trailer.
Wait.. what’s the other channel!?
