- For the next adventure on my Honda XL250 I signed up for the Vintage 1000. It's 1000 miles or so on and off-road from Chattanooga through the Blue Ridge Mountains; miles of off-road, camping, water crossings, waterfalls and some late nights.

The motorcycle that you're ridding is probably the best suited for this ride, but I hope to get my CB450 ready for the 2024 ride as the 2023 ride is already Sold out! Fun Times had by all !
An XL is good for the off road sections but the CB would be good for the on road sections. If you can set your bike up where you can stand while riding you'll be a lot more comfortable.
Saw and talked a bunch of guys in Utah last month. I’ve been looking for a pre81 bike since. Hopefully see y’all next year

Thanks! there are tons of different bikes that go on this ride and they do it multiple times a year, you should give it a try!
